He joined last year, and since then he's also started Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu--and the growth we've seen in him has been incredible. He's much more confident now than when he first started, and seeing him walk into class proud, motivated, and excited is something I'll never take for granted. Because of how positive and welcoming the environment is, my partner and I decided to join the dojo as well. From day one, we felt supported and encouraged. Master Prager is genuinely kind, patient, and amazing with kids. He leads with care and respect, and it truly shows in the students. The other instructors and coaches are just as amazing--always friendly, helpful, and encouraging us every step of the way. One of the most meaningful parts of our experience has been the sense of community. I've made real friendships with other parents as well as with the people in my adult class. Arrangement was month-to-month, price is fair, and the facility and program came highly recommended from other professionals in the area that I trust deeply. As the weeks have passed bringing my kids to class, I pivoted from LA fitness, and my core focus on adult basketball league and hoopin, and decided to sign up for personal boxing classes. After a couple of classes in, I'm slowly improving at the footwork and pivoting/shifting weight, and I'm feeling more confident.. I run a large and successful organization, which includes a sales team that's highly focused on customer service and execution... Regardless of your religion this program is great for young kids and I highly recommended it. Today (May 2022) I updated it and felt the need to share here as well. There are so many's ways this Dojos helped my son. Now 8 and a green belt, karates helped him stay respectful and focused in most aspects of his life. He's a member of Team Zanshin and actively competing in tournaments recently winning two golds in the jr nationals. This Dojos become part of our family. Since we pay monthly and were only slightly early, I didn't think it would be an issue. Instead, the owner--"Master" Stash--was unbelievably rude about it. As a woman, I expected to be treated with the same respect he would give a man, but he dismissed everything I said and even made a comment implying that my kids "needed a male figure." That was completely inappropriate and uncalled for. It's not his place to make personal judgments about my family. Another red flag was when they pressured us into signing up for uniforms that cost around $800, only to then hand us a "coupon." Looking back, this should have been a clear sign of the kind of business they run. At this point, I deeply regret signing any contract with them. The whole experience feels like a scam, and the disrespect from the owner was the final straw. I would not recommend this place to anyone--especially families looking for a supportive, professional environment.
