Glover Park Brewery is a great brewery for downtown Marietta. It has a large beer selection, two floors with various spaces, and an outdoor patio in the back. This is a popular and happening spot, and for good reason. Both my workplace and my wife's workplace have used Glover Park Brewery as a meetup spot for events like happy hours and after-parties. It works well for large groups. It has a good vibe and friendly/polite staff. The brewery has limited free parking on-site. There's a hodgepodge of free and paid parking nearby with the most convenient being the paid lot at 88 Waverly Wy (across the street). On a recent visit, we parked for free on Powder Springs St SW. Glover Park Brewery opened on September 6, 2018 and is Marietta Square's first brewery. Glover Park is the name of the actual Marietta Square park. The brewery is actually located two blocks south of the square. A co-founder of SweetWater Brewing helped get Glover Park Brewery started. read more

It's also cool being right in the brew house...lots of equipment is right in the middle of the tasting room. Off The Tracks WC IPA Smooth and velvety with a nice malty flavor then a tasty bitter finish. Holy Schnitzel Marzen with a floater of the Pumpkin Pie Cider First, the cider is amazing. If you like PPS, you will love this. Put it on top of a nice malty German beer and you have PSL for beer lovers. A little bready and a little pumpkiny and sweet. Glover Park Brewery is phenomenal! Absolutely love going here when in the Marietta area. Our last visit was during the day of opening ceremony for the Olympics. Glad we went there because they had it on every tv. Glover Park has a great size Taproom and decent sized patio. They have plenty of beer choices and cocktails on draft. My go to last time was Some Beach, a tropical IPA. Super refreshing on that hot day! Overall, great place to gather with some friends or grab a beer by yourself. first time In georgia and I decided to stop by with my family. I went to the bar to order shots. I asked for 3 lemon drop shots. The bartender/server behind the bar said "DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE ?? WE ONLY HAVE BEERS HERE, we said we didn't know that being out first time there, he then says "WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT ME LIKE IM CRAZY" ...... we just walked away and left the bar .. that was extremely rude... another family member went up to the guy and he said he was sorry that another customer had been rude to him and he took his anger out on us. this has left a bad taste in my mouth ... will never ever return here or recommend this place. Companion review along with Stockyard Burgers and Bones which were part of "bar crawl" with my Daughter and Sons last year. Running a bit late posting it. As pointed out in the other review, last year my Daughter from California got a chance to meet her two biological brothers in Georgia. Amy was adopted shortly after she was born but her Mother and I had two sons after that. It was a full afternoon at my ex-wife's Condo in Marietta and around 4:00, someone and I think it was Brian aka Bubba who suggested we walk up to Glover Park Brewery. It was only about 3 blocks and most walked but I drove because I was only going to stay a short time and then leave and go back to the hotel to meet up with my wife. She already had a migraine so she had asked to be dropped off the hotel so she could get some rest. Did not thing that being in the heat and the sun would help any with the headache. In any case, we got to Glover Park Brewery right around 4 when they were getting set up to open. The live entertainment was just starting to set up and at that time, very disorganized. Brian suggested we walk a couple blocks to Stockyard and come back later. We did and was impressed with Stockyard and you can read the review elsewhere. After an hour or so, walked back over to Glover Park Brewery and got a nice table. Ordered a round off craft beers and some munchies which were delicious. It's more hands on that Stockyard with Air Hockey Tables, Pool Tables and whatever that game is with the stacked blocks that you see Chris playing with. Stockyard was more beer and bar food and a lot of needed conversations trying to build bonds. Glover Park Brewery was more team building with competition over Air Hockey, Pool, etc. Great exercise and glad everyone had fun. Ended too soon at least for me because I left and went to take Susan out for dinner at the Cracker Barrel across the street from the hotel in Kennesaw. Glover Park is an absolute MUST if you find yourself anywhere near Marietta Square...and honestly, even if you don't, you should still go out of your way to visit! Glover Park has been doing their thing on Marietta Square for a few years now and as time passes, they keep getting better and better! We fell in love with GP on our first visit a few years ago and make sure to visit as much as possible. We have celebrated promotions, new houses, new cars, birthday's and life in general here as it the absolute perfect place to do so! GP is a beautiful brick building that has two levels and a large outside patio. The upstairs where the main entrance is features a small bar and a few tables to hang out at. Also, behind the closed doors is their private event space where they host an array of celebrations. I have peeked at the room when it is fully set up for a wedding and it is stunning! The upstairs is definitely the calmer space, so if you really want to get in the middle of things and feel the true vibe of Glover Park you have to head downstairs to the tap room and patio! The tap room is where all the magic happens at GP! The actual brewing equipment and tanks sits at the base of the stairs across from the bar and next to the stage. Speaking of stage, they do have live music and other performers on occasion. The space and stage is perfect for a small acoustic based band, and we have been lucky enough to catch several talented folks here! That bar I mentioned is a large L-shaped bar that is perfectly laid out with clearly marked line markers and even a few barstools if bellying up to the bar is your thing. To the right of the bar you will find a few comfy and plush chairs and sofas...this is a coveted space, so if you are lucky enough to claim it, good for you! The rest of the tap room is made up of high-tops and standing rails along with a shuffle board table, sets of Jenga, a cabinet of board games and a water station. The outside patio area is absolute perfection! They really planned this space well, especially during those sunny and hot days here in Georgia! The sun sets on the opposite side of the patio, so the building blocks it out starting early afternoon...so you get the enjoyment of the sun, but the luxury of shade! The outdoor space has a mix of high-top and regular tables plus a couple stone communal tables that have fire pits attached to them (for the winter of course!), an outside limited service bar and the famed food trucks! Food trucks are always there on the weekends, but according to their schedule online, they are starting to have them there during the week as well. Per the calendar, they have a lot of special nights and events from charity nights to trivia and even movie nights combined with sip & paint! On the days/nights they do not have a food truck, they host BYOF (Bring Your Own Food). Now, down to the drinks...which is what this place is technically known for! They offer four main varieties of drinks - Core, Seasonal, Seltzers and Draft Cocktails. Core beers, Seltzers and the cocktails remain on tap year round, but the Seasonal varieties are switched up with each season, as you would have imagined! If I am in a beer mood you will find a Can I Get A Witness, which is a Belgian Wit, in my hand. Outside of that, I can also be found indulging in the Let That Man-go Seltzer, which is a mango based and flavored seltzer. It is absolutely refreshing and tasty! My partner is a cocktail guy and loves the Park Mule, which is your basic Mule. Friends swear by the Sunshine & Whiskey. So, moral of this story is they have a solid selection of drinks and they are all pretty tasty! Parking is easy on Marietta Square and that carries over to Glover Park too. They do have a lot in the rear of the building, but additionally there are several public lots less than a block away that make parking super easy! Simply put...we love Glover Park! read more

I visited Glover Park Brewery for a private event last weekend. It was a nice happy hour vibe with a cool aesthetic located off of Atlanta Street in Marietta Square. Parking is limited but there is some free parking in the lot towards the back of the building. The service was good. They had a variety of beer and seltzers. I liked the Berry Lemon Seltzer more than the Peach one (that's pictured). But both had about 6.9 alcohol percentage so they delivered a little buzz to help with socializing . Went here on my 22nd birthday with my friends (who are all also 22 or older). The first bartender was kind and said your drink is on me. Then I went to order a second drink for myself off my friend's tab for my birthday with a different bartender named Brian. I told him the name of the tab and he asked to clarify the name on the tab, I said yes. Then he asked for her id, I said I was calling her up and then he wouldn't let any of us buy drinks since she wasn't with us. I went back up with my friend who the tab was under, showed him both of our ids and said he's closing our tabs for being "smartasses". He then wouldn't let us buy drinks and forced us to close our tab. Ruined my birthday because he was proved wrong and claimed he was lied to because I wasn't my friend, but let her boyfriend buy drinks off her tab. Wouldn't let anyone else buy drinks off their own tabs and made the other bartender working uncomfortable. read more

Glover Park is a good spot. Would love maybe more frequent wipe downs of the inevitably sticky tables. There aren't a ton of beers on tap, but what they have is solid. Love the fire pits and the games for a visit that is more of an experience. read more

Had a great time at Glover Park Brewery. First off, just to get this out of the way, parking and navigating the parking lot can be quite a struggle. If the lot is full or almost full, it might be easier just to park across the street and walk over. Getting out was a nightmare because of some roadblocks that were unnecessarily set up. Once you get past that, the brewery itself can be quite fun. There's a food truck that will occasionally be parked outside for late night snacks. I believe it's there every Saturday? There are lots of games inside to keep you entertained as well. There's shuffle board and some board games available. As for the drinks, I ordered a flight and liked all of the drinks. If you're not sure what to get, you can get some ideas from the bartender and even sample a few before ordering. The flight is $10 and you can choose any 4 beers with 4.5 oz pours. Overall, I think it's a great place to bring a group of friends to drink and have a good time. read more

This is a great brewery in Marietta! About a 25 minute drive from midtown ATL, the Glover Park brewery is located around the back of their building and often has live music and food trucks which makes it a great place to come to with friends! The biggest thing I appreciate is their wide range of options when it comes to drinks. They have what you would expect for beers along with sour beers, seltzers, and draft cocktails. I love having options especially when I mostly prefer sour beers. A lot of breweries don't even have those options! I had the Sunshine & Whiskey tonight which was only $8.75 and delicious. The prices here are great, you can get a 16 oz of a lot of their beers for only like $6. Can't wait to come back and try more!! read more

We went here during Oktoberfest and it was pretty crowded but some spots left (a Sunday). It was far enough away from the main crowd that this seemed the normal here. They were also having an event in the upstairs area that they use for venues so just downstairs was open for bar guests They have a decent bloody Mary & some cocktails & lots of hoppy beers. Bar itself is clean, hip & a great atmosphere in general. You can view the brewery portion right in the main area but I'm not sure if they do tours The outdoor area has an outdoor bar too and food trucks come through as well It's dog friendly but keep in mind parking is street and deck as far as I saw. read more

Place was packed outside on the patio, it was a really nice day, which left plenty of seating inside but the doors were up so it was still nice. There is a food truck serving small bites and they change the trucks up. Live music inside, it was extremely loud, a little dancing going on. While visiting family over the Christmas weekend, friends of my brother and sister-in-law called on Sunday inviting us to Glover Park Brewery for the afternoon. First time visit here, so I was looking forward to trying a new craft beer. We arrived after 1:00 pm and met our friends who were seated at a table outside. As the local meteorologists say, it was "unseasonably warm". As warm as the weather was, we decided to go inside. The majority of people were seated outside. And as time went by, the inside seating filled quickly. Glover Park Brewery has several beers on draft. I noticed a stout available, but I like a stout for cooler days. I decided on the Off The Track IPA, which was really good. GPB also offers cocktails for those who do not drink beer. We asked about food service, and the only food item available for purchase were hot pretzels. There was no food truck there on the day of our visit, and we were told that a nearby pizza parlor takes orders for delivery. It would be nice if GPB had a kitchen set up with quick serve foods. Especially on a weekend when there is a football game on. There are several televisions throughout the beer hall with games on during NFL Sunday. The beer hall is spacious, with tables set up at a distance. Unlike some places where tables are set up close together. The patio has patio style tables covered with umbrellas, as well as more seating. But the patio fills up quickly. Both the patio and beer hall are kept clean, as well as the bathrooms. As it gets busy, prepare to stand in line when ordering. Parking is something of a hassle too. Being the first time there, we parked the car, only to realize that we had to walk downhill and to the back of GPB to enter. Makes it difficult for some people with health issues. Glover Park Brewery is worth visiting on a weekend for a few drinks with friends. And their beers available on draft is impressive. But eat before you go. read more

This place has a pretty cool vibe. They have live music sometimes, and their St. Patty's day celebrations are pretty awesome. The beer is good and there is a nice variety. There is a great outdoor patio area with fires and some bar games to play. It is a family friendly brewery so don't let kids keep you away. They are located right off Marietta square so if you live in that area it is walkable from the nice restaurants and bars there. The staff are also very friendly. Pretty cool brewery located just off the Marietta Square. When I was there they had a food truck and a little play area for smaller kids. There is plenty of room both inside and outside. There are plenty of drinks too, although I only tried their lager, the "Base Camp" You can also get your drinks "to go", which is nice if you want to walk around the square. Glover Park Brewery is a very popular brewery on the Marietta Square. We visited over the past weekend. There was a lot of outdoor seating a lot of friendly people with their dogs and a nice musician there on Sunday afternoon. We brought our Golden Retriever and Dachshund with us as we usually do when we visit a brewery. We tried to go inside the brewery to get a drink but immediately a server came up to us and abruptly told us no dogs allowed in the taproom. She didn't greet us and we didn't see any signs posted. It was very awkward. I took the dogs outside while my husband had to take a picture of the beer and draft cocktails available for me to choose. They didn't have a menu or list of beverages. My husband enjoyed the beer. I chose a mule cocktail which was disappointing. It was flat and didn't taste like anything close to a Moscow Mule it was described as having ginger beer, lime and vodka. Stopped here when it opened on Sunday at 12:30. The staff is friendly and helpful. The beer list is pretty limited. I tried a Base Camp lager and a n Off the Tracks IPA. Both were ok, but nothing special. The OTT was supposed to be a west coast IPA, but doesn't capture the character of a good WC IPA. It wasn't bitter enough and had a slightly sweet finish to it. The brewery is nice and spacious and they have fans going to cool it down a bit. Very good service. Didn't try the food truck as they didn't have any food ready by the time we left. read more

Super dog friendly! We tried the hard seltzer and IPA and both were solid but not crazy good. What a remarkable venue. Right off the square, most restaurants are closed in Sunday's, hopefully that will change with breweries that don't serve food come in, but that's okay. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, place was busy. The beer, could have been more of a selection, they are new, we didn't mind. The beer was good, the IPA was very good. The outside was cozy with a fireplace and multiple places to sit, you can see yourself outside on those nice fall nights with the fire and a good beer. Only real complaint, parking.. but I have to remember within walking distance, there is a parking garage. read more

Nice atmosphere inside and out. Great patio with a bunch of heaters & fire pits. We sat inside which was very loud. On top of it there was a guy with a guitar. He was good but it was so loud you could barely hear him. Folks in our group enjoyed the different beers & ciders. They also had hand made cooked onsite personal pizzas. They looked good but wasn't paying $12.00 for one. Or they had a soft pretzel you could buy. We eventually left and went to a restaurant on the square to eat. If you want to hangout with friends.
