Visiting from California and I've got to say--this place made me feel like I picked the right state to wander into. The food was outstanding--flavorful, satisfying, and didn't leave me wishing I'd ordered something else (which, at my age, is a win in itself). The bartender was generous enough that I briefly considered extending my stay in Wisconsin... or at least asking if they needed a regular. Made us feel right at home, which isn't something you always find when you're passing through. And the atmosphere? Just right. Not too loud, not too quiet--basically the kind of place where you can actually hear your conversation and still enjoy the buzz. Really appreciate the hospitality. If this is how Wisconsin treats visitors, you might have a hard time getting us Californians to go back home. Five stars all day. read more

Such a fun place with terrific bar fair. Had a jalapeño burger that was super good. Fun little bar, family friendly as well. Nice staff, will go there again! read more
