1 STAR Absolutely…read moreunacceptable experience. My husband and I came in as walk-ins. We both had our eyebrows threaded, and my husband also had his nose waxed. Unfortunately, the woman who attended to us was extremely rude, dismissive, and did not provide anything close to a thorough or professional service. She missed several hairs on BOTH of our eyebrows, and she also left a significant amount of hair in my husband's nose after waxing it. When we politely asked her to please take care of the remaining stray hairs, instead of simply checking and fixing them, she immediately gave us attitude and said, "No, no, no, I got them all. You can see on the stick." Meanwhile, he STILL had plenty of visible hairs left in his nose. The fact that she argued with us instead of simply looking and correcting the hairs she clearly missed was incredibly unprofessional. Even worse, we BOTH left with damaged skin. She cut and lifted the skin around my eyebrow during the threading, and my husband also had skin lifted during his service. There is absolutely no reason two people should walk in for basic grooming services and BOTH leave with injured skin, missed hairs, and unfinished work--especially after politely asking for the missed areas to be corrected. Being walk-ins should not mean receiving rushed, careless service or being treated with an attitude. If they did not have the time to properly accommodate us, we would have much rather been told that upfront. Between the rude and dismissive attitude, lack of attention to detail, missed hairs, refusal to correct the work, and damage to both of our skin, we will absolutely not be returning. When you are working on someone's FACE, being careful, thorough, and professional should be the bare minimum. We will absolutely not be returning, and based on our experience, I cannot recommend this place. *****UPDATE***** UPDATE: After posting this review, the OWNER went into their system, found my personal phone number, and called me at 8:52 PM to discuss my review. Completely inappropriate and invasive. She said that had she known we were unhappy, she would have refunded us, but then questioned why I didn't ask for her because she was "in the back." How exactly was I supposed to know that? And why is it the CUSTOMER'S responsibility to track down the owner after receiving poor service? We DID speak up while we were there and were dismissed by the employee. If the intention was truly to "make it right," a simple apology and refund would have accomplished that. Instead, looking up my personal information and calling me at nearly 9 PM to question how I handled the situation crossed a serious boundary. This phone call only reinforced why we will never return.
