The extra time they take to make sure you are comfortable, get the best threading or waxing, facials and so much more is above and beyond. I have had my threading and waxing done mostly by Ana. She does a beautiful job and really makes sure she gets everything just the way I like. She also give the most amazing scalp massages (I've gotten scalp treatments done as well) My favorite is the nice extra massage they do at the end of your threading service. My wife has been coming here for years and has generally had excellent experiences. Unfortunately, her most recent visit was very disappointing. Her eyebrows were done poorly, and we ended up taking her to another salon in Garden Grove to have them corrected. If you decide to visit, I recommend getting to know who will be providing your service. In the past, my wife has received nothing but exceptional service here, which is why this experience was so surprising. Another concern was the payment process. She was told that a new California law requires a 20% tip to be added when paying with a card, and there was also an additional $3.50 charge for debit card users. Had we known about these fees beforehand, we would have brought cash. Based on my understanding, the explanation regarding the mandatory 20% tip did not seem accurate. I am happy to leave a generous tip when service is exceptional, but I do not believe customers should be required to pay a 20% gratuity, especially when they are dissatisfied with the quality of the service they received. While this visit was disappointing, I want to acknowledge that previous experiences here have been very positive. I hope management addresses these concerns to ensure future customers have a better experience. read more

My friends initially made an appointment to get a facial and do threading, and I was just tagging along as a friend does. Since I was just waiting for my friends to finish their appointments, they (the nice aunties and my froends) convinced me to also at least threading my brows + do a scalp massage... and I was convinced and ended up getting my brows done and doing a scalp massage. The auntie who did my brows (sorry, not sure who it was since they didn't introduce themselves to me...but anyone of them would be a great option!) was super nice! The threading was painless and super comfortable. If you have any issues with the shape/clean up, they are always happy to fix it and redo the threading for you. After the threading, I got a scalp massage. You can opt to do it with or without oil, and have the neck/shoulder massage along with it too! It was super soothing and really nice and they check if you would like more/less pressure applied and check to see if you are enjoying the massage. They also do a face massage with oil and towel your face, and apply sunscreen afterwards, which was a super nice touch! I was really happy with the service, and if I'm in the area, I'll stop by again, but it is always better to make an appointment in advance since they do get busy! read more

To be completely honest, I've never once left this place without crying. Every visit has been uncomfortable, but my last one was the worst experience I've ever had at a salon. The eyebrow shaping itself is fine--sometimes I get small cuts, but the shape usually turns out okay. What makes this place unbearable is the customer service. Every single time I go, Sona comments on my skin. Without fail, she tells me how "bad" my acne is and insists that I should book a facial with her. I understand she's trying to advertise her services, but constantly pointing out my acne, as if I'm not already insecure and doing everything I can to fix it, is incredibly hurtful. During my last visit, she recognized me and immediately started talking about my skin again--saying she "remembers me" and that my face looked "so, so bad." She even touched my face with her bare hands and pressed on my cystic acne, which was painful and completely inappropriate. When I told her that I wasn't interested in a facial, she let out a loud, annoyed sigh, making me feel embarrassed just for saying no. To make things worse, at the end of the appointment, she grabbed a bottle of Aveeno body lotion and started rubbing it between her hands to put on my face. I quickly told her not to, explaining that my skin is extremely sensitive and that I can't use body lotion on my face. She looked at me, said "it's okay," and proceeded to apply it anyway. I was in shock. My face immediately felt irritated and started to BURN, and I started crying as soon as she finished. When I paid (as fast as I could just to leave), she noticed I didn't leave a tip and rolled her eyes at me. That was it for me. This experience made me feel humiliated and disrespected. No one should have to leave a salon in tears. At this place, "no" doesn't mean "no," and you leave feeling worse about yourself than when you walked in. 10/10 never going back!!!! read more
