The actual cosmetic services are great. The injector I see does a phenomenal job, but the billing staff are complete incompetence. There have been so many errors with my membership, I have since terminated it. Never provide a detailed accounting as requested, which shouldn't be that difficult to provide. It usually takes several people to just inform me what my balance it and even then, I don't trust them. This doesn't feel good for such a pricey investment. read more

Didn't go through with my procedure here, as I got such bad vibes from the employees. The front desk staff appear immature and inexperienced. They were sloppily dressed, and gossiping at the front desk with another aesthetician while I was waiting for my aesthetician. Then, in the first few minutes with my aesthetician, I just felt she was very inexperienced as well, and she wasn't friendly at all. I let them know I wouldn't be getting my procedure done nor would I return. The building itself is nice, but the quality and professionalism of all the employees I saw was lacking significantly. read more

I had a hydrafacial with Jennifer last week and it was wonderful! I'm 19 weeks pregnant and she was able to do the lymphatic massage for me which was sooooo nice. I have visited Allegro MedSpa twice. Both times Karen Donaldson was my nurse. She is excellent at her job. She inserted filler in my lips and my marionette lines and also put Botox in my neck. I should've written this much sooner, but Dr. Furnas is absolutely horrible! I got a BA by her and I had to get my breast redone recently and the doctor was shocked. He could not believe how bad of a job she did. When I told her I was not happy with the surgery, she blamed it on me and told me that my expectations were too high and said that I had a birth defect that was obvious just by looking at me which she never brought up in any of our appointments so I had no idea what she was talking about. I was in tears in her office and she could care less. I guess the moral of the story is don't tell her if you're not happy with her work. she will just insult you and make you feel small. read more

The ladies that work in the front do not have enough training. They cannot answer questions and are rude and try to pass you off to someone else. They also do not answer the phone and if you leave a message they do not call you back in a timely manner. After Wendy left things went downhill quick. They also have a huge turnover in the front as well so somethings wrong. read more

I've never had a facial because I was nervous I'd feel claustrophobic. But it wasn't at all, it was calming and relaxing. I had a HydraFacial and Dermaplaning done by Jennifer, and wow, what a pro, and a lovely and kind person as well. First she assessed my skin and asked me some questions and what my skin concerns were, then she gave me the most wonderful facial, ahhhh. All my nervousness melted away under her care. The procedure is multi-step and she really took her time, explaining everything along the way. In the end she gave me a personalized 'blue print' of the skin care regime she recommends for me. My skin looks and feels healthy, hydrated, and glowing. I ended up buying the membership because I want to get this done every month. Jennifer is a very professional aesthetician, and the products she uses reflected an immediate improvement in my skin. I recently had an appointment with Melinda for Botox , my appointment was scheduled for 4pm and I arrived 5 min early. I was barely greeted by two very young front desk ladies ..... 4:05 , 4:10, 4:15 and I asked if my person forgot about me ? And all I saw was shrugged shoulders and a deer in the headlights look. .... I sat down for a bit more and waited until almost 4:30 before going up to the front again to find out where my nurse was me no one could give me. Straight answer. I work in medical. If I'm running behind , the first thing I'm going to do is let the front desk know so my patient doesn't feel forgotten and we let them know their time is valuable. I had lower face Botox done by Karen & I realize mistakes happen but the right side of my lip & chin started to droop significantly (I couldn't even smile for months) Again I understand mistakes happen but it was the way the situation was handled that would deter me from going back there again. Karen acted like the drooping wasn't significant & couldn't own up to the error & just was overall SUPER rude. Mind you I'd been getting Botox for 5+ years & have never had this kind of mistake happen or the rudeness I experienced...the only reason I went to a different med spa was because my injector was going to be out of office for several months. I also think that some of the front staff are amazing & super friendly but there are at least a couple girls who are rude & unfriendly. I was recommended by a friend. Made an appointment for consult with treatment the same day. Was just going for a youthful pick me up, you know, no wrinkles in my forehead type of thing. Got my lips done too. Only issue is I want asked how big i wamted my lips. I had decent ones to start, and she just went in and did a full syringe. Also she didn't explain the way they looked wouldn't be the way they were going to continue to look. Because I looked really bad I mean I think I cried when I got home. But all of that one away and I like my lips and I like the lack of wrinkles on my forehead and when most likely go back although it is pretty pricey and if you shop around I'm sure you could find it a little bit less hence the four stars and the lack of explanation for after treatment. read more

I've thought for months about whether or not I should write a review and share my experience visiting Allegro Med spa. Maybe someone else will learn from my experience, so here goes. I originally went to allego for a consult for something to remedy my skin texture change as I age. The therapies they had to offer were very pricy and before paying thousands I figured I would see how a bit of Botox would work. Maybe they would be able to work wonders... I've been getting Botox for the past 12 years, frequently. I've learned over the years that not all Botox injectors are equal. This has always been a mystery to me. Is it the Botox or the person doing the injections that seems to make the difference? I've had Botox that was a total flop but never have I had it in the quantity that I had at allegro and had it not work, at all. I had 46 units. After having Botox at allegro and having it not work I did not want to go back two weeks later and spend more money to have them give me more Botox that was applied poorly. I also realized later they did not apply any Allē rewards from the service. In the 12 years I have been getting Botox I have only once been bruised and swollen days after injections. This was when I visited allegro, my forehead and around my eyes were horribly bruised and swollen for days. I had more Botox a month later, from someone else who knew what they were doing. They did it all again and this time it's great. I didn't have any swelling or bruising. Having Botox done at Allegro med spa was a big mistake and they need to make sure the people doing injectables know what they are doing! I wouldn't suggest anyone waste their money there. Im very glad I have the experience to know that what they did was not right. I'm very glad I didn't have them do any major procedures. #1 lesson they teach in medical school: LISTEN TO YOUR PATIENT. I came in with my friend Veronica to get her lips done. I decided to make an appointment with the same lady, Joy. Joy has over 20 years of experience. While booking my appointment the receptionist said that I needed a consultation with the nurse practitioner (Carolyn) to be approved for the procedure. So I booked my appointment on a day that Carolyn would be there for an approval appointment and right after I would go with Joy to actually get the procedure done. My appointment was 3 weeks away. I came in for my appointment, they had me under Carolyn for the procedure. ? I explained to them that I was not comfortable getting a procedure with someone who I haven't seen any of their work. Considering maybe getting the procedure done with her because I was already there for my appointment I asked to see any before / after pictures of her work and they don't have any. I took my approval appointment with Carolyn since it was necessary and to get it out-of-the-way. I did not get my lips done that day. I'd rather wait and get it with the nurse I felt more comfortable. I booked another appointment with Joy (in another 3 weeks). I get a confirmation call two days prior to my appointment for which they said they had me down for AGAIN Carolyn... I cancelled my appointment. I'm not being heard for the 3rd time what I want. Poorly run. HIPPA violations and patient rights are not taken seriously here. You can hear the front office people discussing patients in front reception area upstairs as well as discussing patients outside the door as you wait. I was told their "Board" of Directors insists on photos from the manager which feels at odds with the American Medical Board of Examiners or the American Dermatological Association. They insist on taking patient photos for basic procedures - even when the patient expressly and clearly states they don't want photos. Possibly for for insurance purposes - but it feels invasive and they obviously don't consider and value patient privacy or comfort. They are the exception in that any other Med-Soa I've visited in Sonoma County does not insist on photos each time and appreciate their patients privacy and value their concerns. read more

Really irritating process to make an appointment, with phone tag to even begin, then a very long process to get appointment including an overly inclusive, lengthy medical questionnaire...they would not give me the cost of service until the bitter end, although the person getting all my data said "well I can give you a quote but you have to talk to the clinician to get the final quote. The receptionist quoted $350. After the clinician called me she said they do NOT do single maintenance treatments unless you first sign up for 6 treatments. The day before a scheduled appointment to have lip filler done I called their office to cancel. I was told that there is a $50.00 fee for late cancellations. They require 48 hours notice (I called 24 hours before appt.). Really????? I said I was not aware of this policy and will not pay the fee. If they don't have my credit/debit card info on file, how would they get that $50.00 fee anyway? I then thanked her for cancelling the appointment and hung up. read more
