They do require at least 24 hours notification if you are going to cancel and they charge 50% of the service if it is not canceled within those 24 hours. I came here to get my lashes fixed and saw Ashley. The new lash client appointment is scheduled for 1.5 hours I was out an a little over an hour. She did an amazing job. I went in with my eye completely bald. She was profesional and kind. The studio is located right off of main st so parking could be tricky. There is a parking garage located to your left right when you see the studio. It's clean inside and cute. If you check in on Yelp you get a free piece of jewelry. Glad I found this place!

I am really disappointed with the lack of follow-up from Jena (Owner). It's been almost two weeks of trying to book an appointment as her client of two and a half years. It's really quite embarrassing. Neglecting clientele is completely unprofessional. My last appointment I had scheduled, I asked to reschedule because I needed to travel out of town. Jena never returned my text and so did not confirm the cancellation with me. I usually get a text message about the appointment, which I did not receive. Without my knowledge, Jena cancelled my appointment so that morning I text her I was on my way. Maybe a clear case of miscommunication and I get it, these things happen. However, since that day, I have yet to hear from her about rescheduling me. It is in the nature of business to learn how to follow-up. So simple. I have never been treated like this and am a very loyal paying customer. Like I said, rescheduling is normal. Everyone has a life. Everyone is busy. Just be professional and own up to the fact that if you cannot handle the amount of work you're faced with, just pay for someone to organize your clients for you. I would suggest getting an assistant to help with bookings before expanding. It's just not a good look to maintain especially with clientele who isn't afraid to write about their horrible experiences. This is a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. As a business owner myself, I'd want the absolute best experience for my customers. This is clearly not a great experience. I did not expect this at all. Luckily I found an amazing lash studio in Rohnert Park. I loooove their studio, politeness, thoroughness AND professionalism. Their prices are also so much more affordable. My lashes are bomb. I'll just put this experience at SOCO with Jena in the trash and move on.

I have been a regular client for 7 years and could not go for one month without seeing Ashley! I have been shaping my brows and tinting my lashes for over 15 years but until I found Ashley, I was never completely satisfied and often I was fearful of an undependable outcome. Now, I am confident that I will get exactly what I want, no surprises. She does a fantastic job and I refer all my friends without hesitation. I have even referred the checker at Trader Joe's and the woman in line behind me because they noticed my brows right after an appointment with Ashley! Everything about The Face Place is a first class establishment - from the decor to the products to the employees. I love the location in downtown Sebastopol, very convenient and a true relaxing experience. I have received two wonderful facials from Ashley and it is clear how she 'knows her stuff.' She is so easy to get along with and made me feel super comfortable. Plus, my skin always looks amazing afterwards :) She also completed a color matching of their makeup products for me. I am a little clueless about makeup and her knowledge was extremely appreciated. I have purchased a few of their products and plan on buying more during future visits. I have been a client of Jenna for almost 10 years! My brows are beautifully shaped and my facial and massage treatments are absolutely magnificent! I come in for treatments every 5 to 6 weeks. Depending on the season, and what it has done to my skin, Jenna prepares for me the appropriate mixture of skin treatments. As I lay there, as the skin treatments are creating their magic, I get to enjoy a therapeutic massage. When I leave my skin is glowing and my skin feels very refreshed,clean and smooth. It always feels like such a treat, especially when I splurge and get a facial too! I had my very first ever facial at the Face Place and I loved both the process and the result! Sara Orton is such a caregiver. She nurtures your soul while she gives your skin/brows/you name it whatever they need (and she somehow just knows exactly what you need).
