This is one of those businesses you stumble upon and BOOM you're like where have you been all my life. I specifically chose this place because of the Yelp reviews. It's a bonus because it's across the street from the office! The business is located on the corner of Powers Ferry and Windy Hill, the same place Mellow Mushroom is but upstairs. Let's talk about service. Shannon greeted me with a smile and has a welcoming spirit. She walked me back to her suite and it was very nice and clean. I received the bikini wax and she explained her process and then started. She would always ask if I was comfortable and if the wax was too warm throughout the process. A bikini was is $25 and of you book through Yelp you receive a $2 discount. Shannon's service was phenomenal and she now has a life long customer. I was telling Shannon I wish there was a business that did mani and pedi. She said there is and walked me down the hall to Fatima's Artistry. I'll be booking an appointment tonight for next week. My spa technician was warm, friendly, and I felt right at home. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this location is upstairs in the Salon Suites the same strip mall where Korea Air is housed, so that made it easy to find. Shannon is one of the most fantastic people on the planet. I first went to her with a Groupon and have been going to her for several years now. Obviously, lying spread eagle on a table, naked from the waist down and having hair ripped out of the most sensitive part of your body is an unpleasant experience--but Shannon has such a delightful and calming demeanor that you barely notice. I don't know how many other clients she has but she always remembers everything we've talked about--she's kinda become my therapist as well as my waxer. As good as a Brazilian Wax can be!! While the service itself will always come with some level of pain, Coco Beleza makes it as comfortable of an experience it can be. The service is done in a private room and you are the only customer attended to. This also means you are in and out without a fuss. Hallelujah!! The procedure itself is done with hard wax and the method Shannon uses is very sanitary (no double dipping or common wax bowl. Shannon herself doesn't do anything extra to make you feel relaxed...her personality and disposition is organically relaxing. Coco Beleza prices are comparable to other really great salons, but you don't have to worry about the long wait here. Be on the lookout for specials like the one she recently ran on Groupon (I bought the max!!)! I haven't seen many other specials by competitors! She was even sweet enough to allow me to have one person accompany me in the room (which most places dont) I got a Brazilian wax and the waxing experience was of course painful but she did her best to make me comfortable. She made sure it wasn't too hot, applied pressure after waxing, & more. Also since it was my first visit she made sure to take care of me. Only con I can say was that it took a little longer than expected... when waxing, anxiety is high and the nerves building up between each wax strip made me more and more nervous so I wish the time in between the wax strips were lesser butttttt she was great she deserves nothing less than 5 stars. read more

While getting your wahoo coated in wax that is then ripped off isn't the most pleasant experience, Shannon makes it comfortable as possible. Her soothing tone and demeanor helps create a manageable experience. Shannon constantly checks to make sure you are comfortable, the temp of the wax is alright and you are not about to pass out.
