So I honestly thought this was going to be a much bigger event than it was. It was going on right after the dream Asia festival which had a crazy amount of food vendors so I thought naturally they would network and have many of those vendors piggy back and go to their event to sell. There was only one Asian food vendor besides the the tenghulu vendor. It looked like the booth was used on other days by China mama, but today it was mio buns. Further more when we went to order they were already out of the dan dan noodles and both drink options. So I ordered the beef soup. They estimated it would take 20 min...it took like double that largely because they weren't using a ticket system. They were just putting bowls down and people were grabbing them...I finally got my bowl. It was just over cooked yet clumpy noodles, and beef that was at least tender in a bland broth. There was no pickled greens, scallions or cilantro as advertised. I went back and let them know first what was missing she through some cilanteo and onion frantically on my bowl but no pickled greens...at that point I was like why even mention the noodles. They were flailing because most people wanted Asian food at an Asian event and the only other options were a burger truck and a taco truck. Funny enough my mom went to the burger truck goodhood because it had a vegetarian option and she said he was super organized and everything he was serving people was put together with care. There was also a drink booth that sold soda, no beverages connected to the culture, a cookie booth, and a Greek booth for other dessert options. I was just so confused. The Greek pastries were yummy I will say. We did buy some, but like who organized this? All the other vendors were just selling kind of gimmicky merchandise. I was hoping for like a Chinese medicinal herb booth, loose leaf teas, pretty clothes with fabrics that culturally significant. I just crave a cultural event that is authentic not this overly processed concept that they think Americans want. The energy also just felt flat some random opera singing that was a bit off and dancers going through the motions, no like cool dragon dance waking up the grounds, or lively drumming. Now for positives the lights were pretty to look at, and they had a dinosaur area which really only makes it more exciting for those with kids. Small rides for them to get on and animatronics for them to interact with. My son loves dinosaurs so that rocked his world in a good way. They also had an interactive light display that he was pretty fascinated by. There was some games set up to play, but sadly the corn hole was broken. This event has so much potential and I hope that in the future they find a way to make it what it can be. read more

It was half off for locals until 12/31/25 - so we went! Came here with my fiancée and our siblings. There's an option to pay for VIP, but I wouldn't really recommend it during a weekday.They do a check on your bags and belongings as you enter and you go through. As you walk in, you're greeted with all of the lights and ambient Asian music. The playlist does change as you go through each section. There's also a story to follow along as you walk through. It's really amazing how they transform the parking lot. The LED is amazing and the detail of each display is very pretty. There are food vendors and local businesses around as well. Do note that the entire loop to see everything will not take more than an 40 minutes! But definitely lots of Instagrammable photos to take. Plus, they have. $5 dinosaur ride that you can trek on for 3 minutes! read more

I hate to be one of very few bad reviews, but I have to be honest on this one. I wanted to love GlowFest. I kept seeing it all over Instagram, shared with friends and coworkers, and finally paid them a visit for myself. I was excited for a date night here with the promise of a "night market" and food vendors. But this was the worst case of Instagram vs Reality! A complete catfish. Tickets are affordable online, at least as far as Vegas events go. Decent locals, military, seniors, and student discounts. But it is cheap for a reason. The space was small and off strip. Conveniently open for several weekends. It was not one bit busy this past Sunday, which maybe worsened the ambiance. There were some cool lanterns, but most looked cheap, tacky, and inauthentic. I wanted an experience, but was met with cheap photo ops and selfie sticks. China Mama (the vendor I was most excited for) disappointingly only offered like 3 meats on sticks. Besides that, there were cookies, tacos, and a.... philly cheesesteak/grilled cheese spot? I was expecting more Chinese, or at least asian, food vendors. For goods, there were maybe 6-8 tents with overpriced, mediocre sellers. I hate to be that guy, but you'll probably spend under an hour here without kids. It is NOT worth your time, even with kids. The Bellagio has far more beautiful displays for FREE! Don't get me wrong, we were good sports and took our pictures. We even participated in the scavenger hunt. I just expected something more established like Dream Asian Food Festival (which is relatively close in price, mind you). read more

GlowFest is a glowing displays festival that invites guests to follow the story of a baby dragon lost in the darkness of the universe. This little dragon discovers Earth, a world alive with color, wonder and light. Its journey unfolds through five distinct realms- Reality, Nature, Ocean, Celestial Realm and Exotic Lands, where two white elephants act as its guides. As you wander the festival and admire the light installations, you can follow the story by scanning QR codes that are presented at the displays. These meticulously handcrafed sculptures are interactive and mesmerizing and do a wonderful job to bring these fantastical worlds to life. Along with the glowing displays and family-friendly fun, you can enjoy their vendor village that offers eats and sweet treats and free crafts, such as coloring and bracelet making, for all ages. The festival offers free parking, porta potties restrooms, and Nevada locals recieve 50% discount on tickets for the first 3 days of the festival and then 10% off tickets until Glowfest ends in February. You can purchase tickets online before you arrive or at their box office at the entrance gate. Our family went for their 4pm timeslot which allowed us to see and wander around for 40 minutes prior to sunset. Then we really got to enjoy seeing the displays glow. We stayed until just after 6pm when the crowds really picked up. Our family had a wonderful time and at $24/ticket after the 50% locals discount, this festival was worth it! read more

This was my first time attending Glowfest off of Sahara. I have been driving past this for months and my curiosity grew each time. I have no idea what the history is of Glowfest or if it's an annual thing or not. My first question was: is it family friendly? Yes, it's very family friendly. I honestly think families would enjoy this more than non-families. I'm also happy this event runs till February. With the holidays and everything I didn't think I could attend, so it was nice to have it two months after the holiday craziness. Parking was incredibly easy and free. I attended early on a friday night, basically as soon as it was dark we headed over there with our ten month old. The exhibit is beautiful and detailed. I personally enjoyed having a story to follow along, it gives meaning behind everything you are looking at. I'm not a shopper or a snacker so I did not partake in any of the kiosks. Overall, it only took us maybe 30min to get through. If our child was walking I could see us spending more time there. He really enjoyed when we took him out of the stroller and he could get close to the displays. For a ten month old he was very engaged and was looking at everything. So even though it was short, I was fine with that cause baby was getting very sleepy and we had to get home for bedtime. I do agree with other comments that it is kinda expensive. I can understand the art is beautiful and a lot of time went into it. So I recommend taking advantage of the discounts they offer. They offer holiday discounts, resident discounts, and family of 4 discounts. I would come back when my baby can run around and we can spend a bit more time there read more

When Glowwfest announced they were coming to Las Vegas, I bought a highly discounted Nevada resident ticket. I'm glad I did. While I did the fest alone, it was very beautiful and I enjoyed watching thee kids having a good time (Also, they're going home with someone else!) There is alot of parking after you enter from Sahara. It's a short walk to the entrance. Welcome to a very colorful and enjoyable experience. There are moving items, lots of places for photo ops with the kids or a signifigant other. There are little tables booths with various things for sale. The best area for shopping is in the food truck area. There are some good food choices. I spent about an hour here. I recommend it for parents. Although this is late, they are keeping the half price for Nevada residents until January 1. I didn't post a lot of photos so that you can enjoy the fest with your own eyes. read more

Decided to bring my husband here earlier in the year for his birthday! Its cute with lots of different photo opps/ unique vendors and food! It wasn't bad for our first time experiencing but I don't think I would go again unless they had a more hands on and immersive experience! And yes we did try the designer dog and got to design our glizzy and tried the designer dog wrapped in bacon! We were able to customize the toppings which was cool! Decided to check this light exhibit out since my wife loves these exhibits. It was hard for me to determine a rating only because each year we visit a similar but much bigger exhibit in Cary, NC. With local and military discounts the price is definitely reasonable, and parking is free and easy. The Las Vegas FlowFest is located behind the Sahara with parking entrances off of both Sahara and Paradise Blvds. Staff is friendly and the light exhibits are beautiful, interesting and unique. Plenty of photo opportunities. The festival did have some gift and food vendors. We actually purchased some delicious flavored popcorn to take with us from Pop-A-Licous (pop-a-licious.com for on -line order and free Las Vegas delivery) after getting to sample a large variety of interesting flavors (e.g. cheddar, jalapeno, loaded baked potatoe, etc.). We also purchased a couple of Chinese good luck charms. The festival is particularly great for families with children since they have a scavenger hunt, dinosaur display with a couple you can ride, and a dinosaur race track kids can ride. Overall, we had a fun and entertaining time visiting this GlowFest. read more

We bought a family pack of 5 and a senior ticket for Glowfest. It was worth it. We came on a Thursday night at 6pm and it was empty. It felt like we had the entire venue to ourselves. The employees were helpful in explaining the scavenger hunt and helping us take some photos. We bought some knick knacks from the vendors. They had a nice selection for food too. Yes, it was small but it felt nice for our group to get out and take our time to walk around. We thought the food selection would be bigger but they had maybe 6 stands at most. The food stands were more like snacks. It wasn't a meal that would fill you up. We bought some CNY magnets and decorations for the house since they were decently priced. Year of the horse was my grandpa's year, so we bought some golden horse statues in remembrance of him. Towards the end, after the scavenger hunt, you can turn in your scavenger hunt sheet for a free lantern and spin the wheel for a prize! They also give you an ornament where you can write your fortune on it to put up on a wall. We had fun. I enjoyed spending it with family and will be going again when my best friend is in town in February. read more

I'm very confused by the glowing reviews of this place. It's an overpriced festival with some light exhibits and food stations. Is it family friendly? Yes. Is it worth the price tag? Probably not. We were in and out in less than an hour. This used to be in a bigger venue near a lake which made the ambiance 10x compared to a random parking lot across the Sahara. read more

This was underwhelming to say the least. It looks like a small carnival on a open lot. I took my daughter to Boston lights this past year, and it was spectacular. I had the same expectations for glowfest. Both have a theme/story, and are made of giant paper lanterns. The price is not worth it. The price has changed multiple times over the last two weeks, including the opening times. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time. read more
