The salon itself is beautiful...very artsy, chic, and full of positive energy. What stood out to me most was how well everyone worked together. I was referred to Mayko after seeing the amazing job he did on my nurse's hair, and I knew I had to book an appointment with him. It ended up being one of the best decisions I've made. I was beyond impressed. My hair had previous damage, and after speaking with other stylists who seemed nervous to even touch it, Mayko came in with confidence and completely put me at ease. I opted for the "Deva Treatment" for curly hair that included a dry cut, wash and deep conditioning, then styling. The care that went into the cut and showing me how to style it moving forward was very much appreciated. I recommend the treatment as a first visit but future visits can only be the dry cut (making it only just more than double what I would normally pay ‍). Also, it took about 3 hours for the cut, wash, deep conditioning, & styling...another reason to only do the dry cut in the future. I'm not really sure I can justify the cost too much to return but I'm also not sure I can say that I've ever loved a haircut like I do this one. Four stars is mainly for price.
