Local Table in The Woodlands is easily one of my favorite restaurants. The Local Kabob Plate is my…read morego-to order, and the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and high quality. Having worked in restaurants for seven years, I know what great service and attention to detail look like, and Local Table delivers both every time. The staff always makes me feel like family, and Emerson, the owner, and Robert consistently stop by to say hello and make sure everything is perfect. The combination of outstanding food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes Local Table one of the best dining experiences in The Woodlands. I highly recommend it!

We did not sit there because it was hot. We sat indoors. It was just me and my child. Our waitress did not mention that kids (12 and under) eat free all day Mondays (and 10 am - 12 noon on weekends). I learned this from reading Google reviews after we had already ordered. After I asked, she confirmed the promotion and allowed us to add a kids meal since we had already ordered an adult entrée, which is the required condition. We ordered a kids' pizza. You can pepperoni for $1 but it's a free add on Mondays. Not gonna lie, pizza tasted off. Kid said it and I ignored her. Then I tried it and ack. We brought the rest home and stuck it in the fridge but it tasted even worse the next day. Tossed in trash. Service required frequent prompting. Like pulling teeth. I had to ask about the drink included with the kids meal. And yes Milk is an option. I also had to ask about the cookie that is supposed to come with the meal. We did not receive one. She said they had chocolate chip only as oatmeal and sugar cookies were gone. I said fine. We never got anything. So I went to the take out stand and we were told they were out of cookies. But they offered us a small brownie instead. Unfortunately however it contained nuts. For an appetizer, we ordered the cast iron spinach artichoke dip. The chip‑to‑dip ratio was not balanced. We ran out of chips way before the dip was gone. We also ordered the cast iron skirt steak (yes lots of cast irons). I requested medium rare. It arrived medium well and slightly tough however. You'd think they could easily tell this since they slice it all up before serving. It was not seasoned, but presumably that is because it is intended to be used with the chimichurri sauce provided. No salt on the tables. Overall, the experience and the food were marginal and borderline acceptable, but definitely unremarkable. Service is another story however. She was nice, just not very good at her craft.

You will not be able to find a piece of lint on the floor. Also very friendly and shared a ton of interesting stories! I remembered maybe 10ish years ago acai bowls were in trend. Then it faded? I never tried it while it was in trend because I was a college student and it was one of those moments where you decide to spend $12 on a protein/carb/veggie meal or on an acai bowl that will hopefully keep you full until your next meal. Fast forward and I'm still not in my career yet lol. Making residency salary and having this is moreso as a treat. It's sort of a healthier way to look at dessert? Thicker than a smoothie. Not sweet like Gelato. Can alter it to have higher protein or sweetier depending on what you choose. There are a lot of options and fiber rich. The presentation is pretty. I do think you have to be in the mood for this. My friend loves acai bowls. Me? It's not something I would crave but I'll be down to have it again if my friend wanted it.

There were shops popping up on every corner, and while I always loved acai bowls, they were pretty much the same no matter where you went. And after leaning pretty hard into this trend for a while, I reached acai over-saturation. Fast forward to recent times and I was excited to check out Nautical Bowls when it opened. The menu looked pretty unique, and it had been quite a while since my last bowl. Each weekend would come and go and I would still manage to not stop in. Today, I was sitting on the couch about to doze off. I had two choices: give into the nap Gods, and probably set myself up for a poor night of sleep ahead, or get up and finally make that trip to Nautical Bowls. I chose the latter, and as I mentioned above, I'm so glad I did. I walked in and stared at the menu for an awkwardly long time. Each item looked appealing and it seemed like they were all only 1-2 ingredients different from the last. I considered even building my own, but that thought was fleeting. Let's just roll with one of the chosen items. There's always a future visit where we can get crazy with something custom. So I went with the Blue Bay Bowl: Blue Majik, Açaí, Coconut, Spirulina Chia, Granola, Banana, Strawberries, Coconut Butter Crumbles. I asked what Blue Majik and Spirulina were: I was told both had a coconut cream flavor. I was also told Spirulina was an algae. That almost swayed me away, but I didn't want to be a basic b. Algae, you say? I aint scared. It turns out, this bowl met every single aspect of the fantasy I had in my head when I was debating between taking a nap and coming here. It was amazing. Every bite. It definitely was not your grandmother's acai bowl, either. There was a lot going on and I loved every aspect of it. And as promised, there was no shortage of coconut cream. I will absolutely be back because I want to try pretty much everything on the menu. Welcome to the 'hood, Nautical Bowls!

I've officially found my new favorite place to eat, Bellagreen!…read more From the moment I walked in to the time I left, the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. That kind of genuine hospitality makes a difference, and they absolutely nailed it. The food is excellent! Fresh, flavorful, and seriously impressive. I ordered the spicy fish tacos, and they were outstanding. The chipotle sauce added just the right amount of heat without overpowering the dish. As a bonus, I downloaded and registered on their app and scored a free dessert, definitely worth it. I went with the White Chocolate Bread Pudding, and OH MY GOSH ... it was next level. Not your typical bread pudding. It had more of a layered, crepe-like texture with a rich, creamy filling, drizzled in milk chocolate and topped with a strawberry compote. I could've easily eaten 10 of them. What really stood out to me was the menu variety. They offer gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options, and even have gluten-free desserts! They have several locations across Texas. I visited the Woodlands spot. Safe to say, this will be a must-stop anytime I'm in the area.

I've worked my way through a good part of the menu and nothing had disappointed me. From a taste perspective - the food is flavorful. The protein empanadas are on my personal -- no matter what menu -- I order them I matter what. They always come out hot and the dipping sauce is legit. The burgers are great and so is the zucchini pasta. I'm also a fan of their soups and my son loves their pizza. The food usually comes out quickly but I've been there when they are overwhelmed. Still not a long wait. The staff are also very friendly and they have a rewards program. If you like hanging out at a casual place with good food that isn't horribly expensive with a healthier flair -- this is your place!

We ordered tacos, one of their signature bowls, a kids quesadilla, and tater tots. I also tried the Watermelon Basil Margarita which was very refreshing! There's a large menu displayed on the wall for customers to view before ordering. My husband ordered three tacos - bunt ends, slow roasted brisket, and chicken. I tried the burnt ends, it was delicious . I only wish the tacos were on a corn tortilla instead of flour. The Mexi-Cali Shrimp Bowl was delicious...btw it's gluten Came with salsa, guacamole, shrimp, cilantro, micro greens over a bit of rice. I wish it was more of a salad instead of a rice bowl. But nonetheless, the flavors were 10/10. Plenty of shrimp, and I was full. My kids have a limited pallet, they took a few bites of the cheese, quesadilla and eyeball the tater tots for about 15 minutes then finally ate a few. I would definitely return here again. We definitely enjoyed our meal.

The taco was basically a cheeseburger with a soft taco so it was pretty easy to eat. It was very tasty. Also I very much enjoyed the guacamole. It was so fresh and it comes with a large bag of black chips, which would be enough for several sittings. Based on the fact, delivery was quick and a product was excellent. I will try them again in a very near future.
