The man that helped me at the desk was great and extremely helpful. The other store associate that was stocking was incredibly unprofessional. Upon checking out I had asked if they by chance knew where to get a Polar Band. I get it if you don't know what that is, but this particular associate thought it was cool to say " um no I don't know what that is and I don't do cross fit". Excuse me? Did I ask you if you did cross fit? I'm definitely not a cross got enthusiast, but that still came off annoyingly rude. He gives fitness enthusiast that bad rep of being dbags. I'm a customer. So normally I shop online because it's easier to order everything then just have it shipped. I decided to run over to this GNC because I was out of Protein completely and thought it would just be easier to get some on my way home. Long story short I'm just a little ticked off at the laziness of one of the employees (blonde hair older women, no name tape). I had been rung up for my purchase and was notified after about the GNC rewards points I had before buying the protein, so I asked if I could refund the item and have it rescanned so I can include the point I earned (these were points earned prior to this purchase). She just straight up said "No, I'm too tired to do that. Come back another time" while there is still like 20-25 min left till close... all in all I'll stop going to that GNC. read more

I was told by a friend to go there because they price matched items on online sites so I went there but I discovered that yes they do price match but add the shipping and handling charges PER item online....so basically this GNC charged me as if you were to buy three things online as three separate orders. On top of that, you have to pay the sales tax. So when they say they price match and can beat any price...you're really not saving any money. Best bet is to order your supplements from bodybuilding.com or supplementwarehouse.com....more selections and better prices! read more

I love the GNC at this location. Kyle is always very helpful whenever I go in and he even remebered who I was after a month or so from not coming in. I also get a lot of help from a female associate too but I dont remember her name but she has tattoos. They always have great sales and they are always willing to help you find what you need. I go here a lot just because I work nearby but it's definatley worth coming to this store other than the other store in Mira Mesa. read more

Honestly, I am so disappointed with the service I received today. Silvie treated me like I was a stepchild whom she hated. I came in hopeful to get the essential oils I normally come to buy from GNC instead of Amazon & she didn't hesitate to take her frustrations of closing late out on me. She proceeded to let me know that I inconvenienced her by coming in before closing time. She gave me a huge lecture about profit & how my price matching to Amazon didn't give the store any profit even though I chose to be LOYAL to GNC as a regular customer instead of amazon. She honored a discount which I am thankful for but none the less, I will NEVER spend another dollar at this location & I hope this is reported to the district manager so a conversation can take place about her behavior so that another customer will never be treated with such dismissal & disrespect. I've been struggling with finding a good knowledgeable supplement store. I've always heard of GNC but never thought of it as a store that would meet my needs. As soon as I came in the store I meet the Manager Kyle who greeted me and told me about a couple good promotions. After I explained what I was trying to do he showed me two products that will give me the best results in my price range. GNC is my new favorite place. I would give this location a zero if i could.This is the worst GNC I've visited. The product I wanted had an advertised price cheaper than any other GNCs I've seen it at so i thought it must be on sale, lucky day. The employee told me that the system said something else therefore he could not honor that price. I argued with him that its the law to sell it for the advertised price & he said well idk who put it there ill adjust it, the sticker not my product. Then he told me "I see, you're one of those". All I wanted was fair custoner service. He also told me that was "his" franchise & didn't believe me that I get double point on my purchase instill I showed him my email. He said oh I didn't know that coupon was sent out. I also had a $5 off coupon & when I tried to give him the code he commented, "huh, I see how it is". I asked for a refund because he kept telling me he wasn't arguing with me when he really was and walked to the door and pulled the sticker off & put it in his pocket, then saying "where did it go if it was there"? Btw, my dad and two older children were with me and witnessed this. Long story shorter, he lied about several things regarding GNC, I visit GNC's all over San Diego. Which is why I know their policies & customer service standards, but this was the first & worst experience making me rethink supporting GNC, even if they are franchised & have trolls like this guy bringing shame to their brand. read more
