I was looking at the time release B-12 and i inquired if they were coated so they are easy to swallow and she had no idea what I was asking. I learned from a pharmacist that I want time release versus the regular ones due to you don't want it all released in your system at once because you can't digest it that fast. Bad customer service. Walked in on 05/25/14 at around 2pm (store manager figure out who you had working) and the guy working there was on the phone talking about baby momma drama. Didn't get off the phone to take care of customers. Rang me up didn't even make eye contact. Didn't say a word to me. Not even my total. He bagged my item left it on the counter and I thanked him, nothing got him off of the phone. Nothing was said to me by this guy. Horrible service. While I walk out another lady walks out in front of me and says "great customer service hu?" She didn't buy anything. I didn't give this place a 1 star because this is actually the only place I found something I've been searching for. This GNC is ok. This is where I used to buy all of my thangs and is close to where I live. Only stop by to see if anything is on sale. So, I get off work at 7 in Dublin. I could have gone to the location close to my job at the mall BUT... I have plenty of time to make it to my local GNC in San Leandro before they close to get, probably $150 worth of product. I get here at 7:35 to find the doors locked!!! On line, it says this location closes at 8. The sign on the door says the same. But... the doors are locked!!! Why did I even try to do business locally? I called, too. They didn't bother to answer. If I can give half a star I would. This GNC location is the worst. They not even going to try to help you, but they will try get more money from you. Last month I trying to exchange pre-work to a different flavor because my husband bought the wrong one and it was on sale and bought it in different location and when the lady rang it up she was asking me to pay $9.99 because it was not on sale anymore and I said it's just an even exchange, and she give me all this excuses crap that she cant change the register for a different price and she was rude so I just left. I like to workout and Im not hardcore about supplements but I do drink shakes and eat protein bars. Staff here are helpful and knowledgeable about the product. If you have certain goals they know what to recommend. The only thing is that it seems too quiet in the store and like the dudes might fall asleep if no customers are coming in. For their sake management should put some chill background music, helps employees and creates a more friendly atmosphere for customers. Also the deals they have are good, you just gotta know when to go and the staff there, or at least the guy who helped me last time hooked it up!. read more

A great place to shop for supplements and vitamins! Kudos to the guy named Anthony that works there! Not only was he extremely informative but he was really patient and understanding ( I had my two kids with me and they were loud/ driving their cars on the countertops). Though I'm not an advocate of GNC, I will come to this specific store once on a while to browse their discounted items. When products are about to expire (within 6 - 8 months), GNC will substantially mark them down. This specific GNC has a wide selection of these products, so you'll often times find yourself leaving with a good deal. Aside from this, it's just a regular GNC...high turnover, minimally helpful employees, and high mark-ups. read more

This place is okay. Good discounts sometimes. The manager works here almost all the time. She is pushy. I understand she might have some goals or quotas to reach but she doesn't stop after customer says no. Well, it might be her way of making commission or reaching goals. Apart from that she is nice and friendly. Hard to understand the way she explains products though. In generel I am kind of person that loves good customer service. VERY GOOD SERVICE!!!! :)) 6/30/2014 Came in today and was greeted very nicely by a very nice and we'll mannered young man. He smiled made eye contact and answered pretty much any question I had. I even asked some things i wouldn't expect him to know an he nailed it. I was surprised that he was so knowledgeable. There were other customers inside the store and he handled it really well and made sure all of us was taking care of.
