The salad bowls are more filling for the price, and you can customize them with whatever you want. They also regularly have limited-time items like tacos, along with juices, muffins, and other options, so there's usually something different to try. There's seating inside along the counter, but my family usually prefers grabbing one of the tables outside when the weather is nice. Overall, really good healthy food, solid value, and plenty of options even for someone who normally prefers meat. Most stuff I've tried has been pretty solid, and usually soy and/or wheat-based, though they have some that are mushroom-based as well. I think the fake beef has been my favorite item, followed by the smoked (fake) duck breast. It's a great way to add some delicious plant-based protein to your meals; some come already marinated! My only complaint is that some of the products are written in Chinese, so you might only get a small idea of what you have or how to cook it. The inconsistency was frustrating, and the brusque interaction with the manager was curt abrupt and unhelpful. Restricting veteran discounts to only medical patients makes absolutely no practical sense and makes the discount seem performative. Former service members know that being a veteran is being part of a brotherhood. Recognition and appreciation for our military service should not depend on whether we hold a medical card or not. For comparison, the nearby competitor dispensary (Rise) honors veterans across the board, applies their 22% discount on top of promotions, and their staff is consistently helpful and friendly. Verilife needs a more thoughtful approach to how they treat veteran customers.

I just went to the prescription counter, picked up the medication and was on my way. My main complaint was the parking. The lot is off of busy Connecticut and the entrance ramp is somewhat steep. Parking is tight and sometimes full. I used to have my step-sister come with me so she could wait in the car in case I couldn't find a spot. More recently we have a dog on compounded medication for gastrointestinal issues. There was a little confusion about her prescription because it was first submitted by an emergency vet and then transferred to our regular vet. Staff was very helpful getting it straightened out. We also opted for delivery at a nominal fee and are so glad we did. It's easy, reliable and the medication is hung right on our front door knob. I must say for very long term prescriptions there are some very good mail order pharmacies that are less expensive.
