I prefer this except if you are using coupons, it may be problematic. They accept expired coupons with the exception of the $25 coupons, which I was told by the employees. Every time I come, this location is always packed, but it was empty on that day I recently came in. When I checked out, I asked two employees if this location was closing and they said no. With so few patrons, I hope this location doesn't close as others have. read more

Not much to say. The stores are all closing. The shelves are now bare and merchandise picked through. The cashiers looked sullen. There were no store closing deals. 10% off of overly marked-up stuff is just barely regular price. I bought nothing, and so didn't think even this much merchandise would be sold. read more

This BB&B is on steroids!!! One of the few newly renovated BB&Bs, to include a large registry area. Did you know they even have their own moving service? The display areas and isles are wider. They have an expansive coffee machine department, to include a seating area where you can sample K-Cup coffees before you buy. This BB&B has a specialty food section and and large beauty/toiletries section (dental care, deodorants, vitamins and supplements, hair die, shampoos and conditioners, lotions, razors, soaps, makeup, hair accessories, skin care for men and women, etc). They even have diapers and baby formula and other baby care items. We saved so much money on toiletries using the BB&B coupons. I hope these larger renovated BB&B stores will be expanding throughout the country. I NEED one of these in central Florida. read more

One of the workers told me it has been for ages, and is in line to be renovated and expanded. It is very cramped; claustrophobics would not do well here. When you enter, there are stacks of product boxes and small rows to walk through. We came looking for large crock pots (They had a limited selection), and/or chaffing pans (they didn't have). They also don't have the food items or cosmetic and personal products that the Rockville location has. One worker told me that will come with the expansion. Two good things: Lots of helpful employees on the floor, and plenty of parking is available. read more

Great parking and easy access in a very boring industrial shopping area - Snowden Square (more like a row of giant strip malls). Made a special trip to buy a pastry blowtorch. But employee Brian (who sounded like he was nursing a highly contagious cold) was so unfriendly it put me off buying. Also he told me they didn't sell the butane for the blowtorch at BBB. Ended up picking one up at the BBB in Arundel Mills a few weeks later. They had the butane at the register, Brian. Hope the cold is better. Arundel Mills is more fun anyway, so I probably won't be seeing you again, Brian. Hope life gets happier for you. read more

The thing I never understand about Bed Bath and Beyond is how it is always so well organized and everything is put away well - but you can never find someone on the floor to help you find stuff, and I can never find what I'm looking for. However, they do have those random one off things you really need - and it is a nice change from Target. The problem I have with Bed Bath Beyond, in general, is they really mix in high end, wonderful things at great prices with low end over priced stuff that won't last - and it can be very hard to tell the difference without researching it first. Combine that with the impulse buy nature of the store, and you really do end up buying stuff you don't need and won't work... along with randomly getting great deals.... so you keep comign back.... and that is whats wrong with the world.... So, 3 stars depsite possibly ending humanity as we know it. read more

I bought a Single server, K-Cup coffee of (no brand name offered) and wanted to get a full refund because it had YET TO SHIP, even tho they claimed that the order had been "processed." However, searching endlessly on their site revealed ZERO WAY to do this, despite the site suggesting that there would be a "button" on the site to do just that. There wasn't. My searching revealed ONLY that (hidden from the original purchase date) you have THIRTY MINUTES to cancel and ONLY THEN. This is outrageous, since they have yet to ship five days later and won't ship for another week, i.e., after Labor Day! I demanded a FULL REFUND via PayPal who sent my request to BBB. Still waiting for their response but I will escalate should they not honor my legitimate request. I do not want to wait until it is delivered because not only is it a hassle but they also charge a $10 label return fee, which I have never seen before with any vendor or manufacturer. read more

I was dreading it. Returning to a Bed Bath & Beyond to finish up registering. I pushed it off for as long as possible, until i finally gave in to the Misses' request. It wasn't so bad. The registry co-worker was friendly, a bit funny, and very hands off - a good thing. She gave us our scanner and let us be. Help was a bit sparse, but the store is less crowded than the Rockville location. The usual tight spaces exist throughout the store. Solid 3 stars. read more

I received a gift card to the store as a wedding gift and decided to venture out to this particular location because the item I was looking for was in stock. After perusing around the store, I finally made it to the closest organization/storage section. I located the item but couldn't reach it because it was hanging on the wall. I took another lap around the store looking for an employee--they're shirts are black so they blend right in with customers. Finally i see a young lady sitting on a ladder as if she's on break and I ask if she can help me. She tells me to look for a tall guy named Mike. I look again I don't find him. As a last resort, I call the store and ask them to send someone to my section because I can't get assistance. She's says "okayyyyyyy" as if this is an odd request. I wait and finally I just decide to move the ladder and climb my six months pregnant self up there to look for it myself. To no avail it's not there and no one ever came. Sweet Baby Jesus, this might be my least favorite BB&B around. I don't know what it is about BB&B, but it brings out the meanest, crankiest and biatchiest old people this side of Old Country Buffet. I'm sorry, but did your mother back in 1876 not teach you to say "excuse me" as you lunged for that bulk pack of wood hangers. Or when you Tokyo drifted around the corner with your cart and knocked over a George Forman grill. Seriously, I would rather drive a longer distance than go to this BB&B. It is constantly crowded and based on my experience looking for specific products, they aren't the greatest at restocking the shelves. I will say this, if the wife and I have an hour plus to spend while waiting for a movie, we'll venture in here and look around at stuff that we think we will need, but never really will. "Hey, don't you think my extra toilet paper would look good on this extra toilet paper holder?" If you are looking for a good selection, or just want to stop in and get something really quick, you may want to try elsewhere. read more

This location has a wide variety of items for sale. You could easily spend an hour or two browsing. Employees are friendly, the store is clean (including the bathrooms!) and they have a cute coffee area where you can sample any k-cup flavor you'd like as well as espresso. The only negative in my opinion is that the store is a little cramped. It's hard to navigate two way traffic down an aisle. Other than that, it's great! read more

I would like to start by saying that Edward S.'s review is spot on. I went to BB&B yesterday and have been there quite a few times recently because of the holidays. Every time I realize I need to stop there, a deep dark feeling of dread comes over me and I'm anxiety ridden for at least the duration of my shopping experience while I am there. Yesterday was no different. The set up of this particular location really depends on the civility of it's patrons since the ailes are barely wide enough to get one cart down, let alone two. Even if the store isn't busy, I find myself constantly having to maneuver around other customers or being bulldozed by others. It seems like a large portion of the customers here got up on the wrong side of the bed so they aren't all exactly civil. EXCUSE ME for not getting the memo that the simple words "excuse me" are obsolete in this establishment. Then there are the women who give me death stares for simply shopping in the same section as they are in and God forbid I try to look at the same product as they are!! Next time I'll just wait til your royal highness is done....right! Then there is the check-out line. The whole area is a bit of a cluster and isn't efficient for long lines so, just when I think I have endured the worst and I am home free, the real claws come out. People start cutting in line or making passive agressive comments under their breath because another register opened and someone else was helped first. NEWSFLASH, when the person running the register says, "can I help the next person in line" THREE TIMES, and everyone just stares blankly into space, there is a good chance that someone who IS paying attention is going to jump on it. There is no need to get your panties in a wad and mumble obscenities over it, just pay attention next time, and I promise, the world won't end if leave BB&B 3.27 minutes later. I would rate this place one star but I do shop here because it's simply easier than having to stop at a bunch of other stores to get things I could get here in one stop. The employees are generally friendly and helpful but they seem to be quite slow at the register which only compounds the whole drama of waiting in line. I really need to find another place to shop in this department because I don't like to be exposed to Howard county's rudest customers of all time every time I stop here. read more

I drove to the BBB location in Crofton and wanted to buy a set of pots and pans for a friends wedding. I got to the check out and was told I had used the " Retail Me Not " coupon back in April and couldn't use it again . No problem, I'll just sign up on their site for the other 20% coupon , no go . The lady told me it takes 24 hours for it to kick in . Bummer . I asked if she had a coupon she could scan , not allowed . I don't have time to wait 24 hours since I'm headed to NJ for the wedding. I walked out and went to Macy's where I spent 300.00 dollars and got a huge discount for using my Macy's card . More then 20% off ! I like BBB but you guys just lost a good sale . Let me first state, this review is regarding store design, not product nor employees who I've had no trouble with. I love BBB. What I can't stand is how the store is designed. Aisles are SO narrow you can barely get your cart through without bumping or knocking something. Forget it if you need to get around someone. They need a 4 way stop inside! It's not due to holidays either. It's this way any time if the year. It's completely frustrating to not be able to see a product or go around a person or wait to go like it's an on ramp to the parkway. Many times I've had to go look at something else until the product I want to physically look at has space availability. It was so bad in there the other day that a woman with her cart ran into the back of my heel as I was walking! Talk about being up my a$$!!! Really? She was lucky I'm pretty forgiving as several would have caused a scene if it happened to them. There are times I just order online and pay and then go pick it up which is easier except when its an item in need to actually see. This used to be the best stocked Bed, Bath, and Beyond in the Baltimore region. No more. Stock is down to remnants. Couldn't even find a 9x13" baking pan. I asked a staffer if they had any in back and her response was "yeah, we like hiding things from customers." I did find one item in the apothecary area, took it up to pay for it and not even a greeting from the cashier. All the carts look dirty and broken. He comes back on the line and says he found them and would meet me outside, so I would not have to find another parking space. The is a great place to shop. Get coupons from mail from them alot and you can you your coupon anytime. The coupons expire and you can still used them. I have alot from 2009 that I have not used yet. There used to be the container store, now BB&B is the best there is for miscellaneous purchases! This location is well stocked usually and the cashiers usually are helpful as far as deciding which coupons to use when making purchases. Whenever there is something strange that I need, I search the internet and go to BB&B to see if I can get it quickly. They have an ok selection of As Seen on TV items and their bedding selection is large, but very bland in style/color. They have a good selection of kitchen items and their OXO items are usually priced right after a coupon. I recently found out they have fine china that can be part of a wedding registry. Always a plus. FYI - their coupons never really expire - every BB&B I have ever gone to has accepted them no matter their expiration date, they also accept competitor coupons (Linen's & Things and The Container Store are some examples) read more
