The dispatcher Suzanne was incredibly rude. I would never be comfortable to trust that if I had changes or difficultly with my flight, I could rely on this company to be there to meet me. I had a change to my flight in which in would not get in until after midnight. Therefore, they had no shuttle service available to me. I was understanding that I had to make other arrangements, She fluffed me off to "call Monday" for my refund. I asked "why can this not be done now so I don't have to call again?" (It was under the 4 hour cancellation window?!) She huffed and puffed and cancelled the reservation (in 2 mins!...so not sure why she was so reluctant to provide this grueling task!) I asked "why did you not simple offer to do the refund? Why make me jump a hoop?"...she responded (and I am not kidding!) ..."you know lady, I am getting really SICK of being nice to you?" Have you ever had an employee of almost anything have the audacity (especially when unsolicited) to tell you they are "SICK OF BEING NICE TO YOU!" Be proud Suzanne! I used "Go" for transportation from Orange, CT to LaGuardia. Van was on time, clean, & comfortable. Driver was courteous, safe and extremely conscientious. Another pasenger had music playing loudly from the earphones she was wearing, and the driver had her turn the music down for everyone's comfort. I arrived at the airport ahead of schedule. Fast, easy, door to terminal service. Will use this service again. :) read more

Worst shuttle service for pick-up from the airport. Waited for an hour for pick-up from JFK and then customer service argues that it has been only 39 min. The dispatcher would keep saying that the cab will be there in 15-20 min, then 5 min, then 2 min..but you will end up waiting for an hour or more. It is quite possible that the dispatcher might stop answering your phone. Save your time and book something else for a ride from the airport. Drop-off to the airport might be okay but would not recommend for pick-up. read more

Awful experience. Booked a ride back from the airport to new haven online and was made to wait over an hour for pickup on the day of service. Dispatcher was rude to the agent at the baggage claim/ground transportation which made everything worse right from the get go. Customer service at the 800/203 number kept transferring me to an empty number or just hanging up. Finally my driver arrived and expected to eat his stinky takeout lunch while I waited. We picked up several other guests, so we didn't even leave the airport for another half hour (now 1.5hrs delayed at this point thanks to these clowns). Driver was on his phone the entire time often speaking in another language, which is just rude when you are running a business, part time Bluetooth ear piece part time hand held! He even paid his cable bill while we were in traffic! Entirely unsafe and illegal! BBB should be made aware these guys are dangerous! read more

I have used this service several times with no issue - until now. I had paid for round-trip service from home to Laguardia. The ride there was perfect, however, the ride back was less than perfect. First of all the driver was an hour late, to be expected with NY traffic. When he finally arrived the first words he said to me and my daughter was, "how old is she" I answered and he replied with "she's an adult, you'll have to pay more" meanwhile I had already paid in full. Apparently the Welcome Desk that called in the pick-up gave him bad information. Instead of confirming it he accused me in front of my daughter. I know mistakes happen, but he was rude and dismissive and did not believe me when I told him I had prepaid for the service. I finally resolved it en route (with no help from the driver) with a call to customer service. If you use them be sure to bring all your receipts, otherwise you may have a similar experience. I see some similar reviews to mine and some 5 stars this can only mean that there are only some drivers that are the problem, so if you're lucky you'll get one of the good ones. read more

I called in because I got a surprise charge on my credit card for a fare increase for my Son's return trip from Yale to JFK. I changed the location pick up to about a 6 minute walk from where they had originally booked because my son would have luggage and would be more convenient to pick him up outside his dorm. They didn't disclose while I was on the phone changing the location that there would be an upcharge (which is required by law that they do so). After I booked, they charged my credit card and then sent me an email with a new amount. When I called into complain, the very rude agent said that it was because of tariff laws in Connecticut and that I should have read the email more closely (the one that they sent me after I got the charge--which is exactly why I was calling in). She then asked my if my son was a student at Yale and I said, no, he's on a summer program there, so not a full time student. She then proceeded to tell me that he's not allowed to use their service unless he's got a Yale student ID. That seemed utterly rediculous. Maybe she was just trying to redirect the issue from the refund request for the upcharge. I told her it's too late now. He was already in their van back to the airport and almost there, and in fact, Yale program my son was at listed them as one of the approved shuttle services. They refused to credit back the additional upcharge they failed to communicate in advance of rebooking, so we will need to just dispute on our credit card. Would never use this company again. This shuttle is absolutely horrible!! They say it will be 15 minutes when you arrive and then it is a minimum of 30 minutes. More like 40-50. In that time you could take the air train and metro north to go anywhere for half the price. It sucks!! Van is small and old!! The woman who picked me up was incredibly rude. She gave me a hard time about the location that I have for pick up even though it hasn't been a problem for all of the drivers who have picked me up from that location (which I kindly told her and I believe made her more upset). I put my suitcase in the back of the vehicle and I shut the one door for her and went to shut the other and I guess she was going to do it and I didn't know so I went to slam it shut she seemed like she got really offended like I was trying to slam her hand/arm in the door and yelled at me. I apologized for the confusion but she didn't seem interested. I hadn't had a problem up until this individual but I will not be using the service again. read more

The website says that the average wait time upon arrival at JFK is 20-30 minutes. When I called upon arrival I was told the wait would be 45 minutes. After 45 minutes I called to find out how long the wait would be and was told the driver would arrive "soon." When I asked the agent (Ryan) whether he could be more precise and tell me whether that meant 5 minutes or 20 minutes or longer, Ryan said, "soon" and hung up on me. The driver showed up 1 hour after my initial call. We picked up additional passengers not only at another terminal at JFK but at La Guardia Airport! The van did not have a rearview mirror and the driver drove erratically and talked on the phone while driving (it was clearly a social call). I do not recommend this business -- terrible customer service, bad staff, and an inefficient setup. read more

I've read negative reviews and always wondered if they were real. This one is. GO AIRPORT came to pick up me and a friend in Cos Cob. We were picked up right on time (good start!) @ 4:15 on a Friday afternoon to go to JFK and arrive by 5:30 (5:20 according to them). An international flight. There were 2 others in the car and one was going to La Guardia. I asked the driver if he planned to drop us off first and he said no, that La Guardia was on the way to JFK (true). But there was not time to do that and get us to the airport on time. I called the company from the car and they agreed that we should be dropped off first -- that they would drop the La Guardia client off at a rest stop (!) and we would go on our way. That stop took about 10/15 minutes while we waited for another driver who never showed up. Needless to say, we got to JFK at 6PM, 1/2 hour later than we wanted. We were concerned about missing our flight and in fact got to the gate only about 20 min before boarding started. Never again! PS the driver spent most of the ride on his cell phone. read more

Used them round trip from home to JFK-going down was fine, coming back, they said 30 minutes, driver showed up 40 minutes later, picked up another passenger from another terminal in JFK and then picked up 3 more from LGA. Driver drove way too fast for traffic. Crazy to go to 2 airports, almost 3 hours from pickup to drop off at residence. (would take 1 hour normally) Would use other option on the way home next time...would have been similar cost for Uber etc with no other stops.....3 hours? that's too long and not acceptable to be going to a 2nd aiport to pickup other passengers. read more

I had the worst experience on GoAirport Shuttle. Firstly the driver arrived 30 minutes late and did not bother informing us. I wouldn't mind this so much if I were arriving from the airport but this time I was on my way to catch the flight and I needed to be there on time. We waited anxiously for a good 15 minutes, before I called him. Second he arrives late AND yells at us for not getting into the shuttle. One of the worst shuttle experiences I have had. Half an hour projected wait time become an hour without an apology. The dispatcher actually hung up on me when I called to check in on the status of my shuttle. The shuttle driver left me to carry all my luggage and just pointed in the general direction of the van. I will never use this company again. It was not worth the $80 I spent. If I could get my money back I would. I would rather have struggled on the public transit than go through that after a redeye flight. read more

I am reserving this one star for the "customer service" person I just spoke to who was extremely rude and may just have cancelled my husband's return pick up just because she can. After his flight was cancelled, which they called to tell him, they wanted to cancel the whole trip, not even taking into consideration that he may have found another flight out, which he did. His round trip stands as is but his card was charged the full amount. I called for the one way refund and was met with an attitude of "I should have known that it was being processed and would take 10 days but let's cancel the whole thing". I told her there was no need to be snippy or cancel the return trip as he needed to be picked up. She said, goodbye and hung up on me. I will never use this service again due to her rudeness. It is unfortunate that she is the way she is. I would however give the drivers four stars as we have used this service before and they are very nice. read more

Service quality level going down the drain..I've been using them for a few years and for the last one year or two, their services getting worse and worse to a terrible level. The driver who drove me to the airport kept trying dialing his phone while driving on highway and drove between lanes a few times..till I finally had to ask him to stop phoning. Airport waiting time over an hour for me for last two pickups. The shuttle was crammed with 8 people and tons of luggage. Perhaps management has changed because my experience was really bad. I took this service in April, 2013. For my 10 a.m. outbound leg, I was supposed to be picked up at 7:40 a.m. to arrive at 8:40. The driver was over 30 minutes late because the dispatcher threw in a last-minute stop in Norwalk at 7:30 a.m., and then there were two other stops. So I got to the airport at 9:15 a.m. instead, which made me really late to the gate. Coming back, it took longer just to get out of La Guardia than to fly from Cleveland to New York. The dispatcher required the limo driver to drive around until every single seat was filled. I used to love this service, but I would be reluctant to use it again. read more

Don't ever use CT Go Airport Shuttle. They have the WORST customer service I have ever experienced! The dispatchers are rude liars. You're instructed to dial from the phone when you land but if you do, they never show up. If you must book them, make sure to check in at the counter. It's miserable. I called to make a reservation for the Go Airport Shuttle to the airport today as the online system wouldn't allow me to book. The "customer service" woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude, telling me that I couldn't book online less than 24 hours in advance. She also said the only shuttle on Saturday was at 2:30 (I have a 9 p.m. flight) because it's a holiday and their drivers have places to go. I can only hope that the management truly does record their calls like their online message says, because they need to think twice about who is answering their calls and how they sound to potential customers. I would NEVER consider calling or using this business again. **MANAGEMENT - YOU NEED TO LISTEN!** Customer service makes or breaks a business, and yours is broken. read more

Go airport shuttle. What can I say? This service came highly recommended to me by a girlfriend about a year ago. Since then, I have used go airport shuttle twice. My first experience was pleasant. No problems whatsoever with my drop off to the airport, nor my pick up from the airport. This time around? Not good. Maybe they're a bit frazzled with the holiday season, but I am so disappointed with my recent experience that I am trying to stay calm as I write this. A quick sum up of my pick up ride: the driver was about 10 minutes late, spent the first 20 minutes on the telephone, then cursed someone out. Apologized profusely, treated me to a coffee when he decided to stop at Dunkin Donuts. Pretty unprofessional, but I get it. We all hate customer service & maybe he needed that 1st cup of morning Joe to better cope. I still made it to the airport in good time and tipped him $5. Onto my drop off back home. Which was scheduled for today, with a 9-9:30 pick up from LGA. I say 9-9:30 because the scheduled time I gave when I made the reservation was 9 AM. My flight made it home on time, I had my bag and had airport personnel call the 2 digit number for pick up by 9:15. I watched as they waited on hold for approximately 30 minutes. I was told at 9:55, they would be here to pick me up within 30 minutes. It is currently 10:55AM and I am still sitting here waiting. Over a whole hour and 30 minutes after I've been ready to go. I'm literally fuming, and could've smothered this review with profanity (equally as offensive as my pick up driver's words on the first leg of my trip). Instead, I will do what I typically do. Suffer in silence. My mom always taught us "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." I'm now rounding out 2 hours sitting here. Doesn't deserve even 1 star! I needed to arrange transportation to LGA from Bridgeport, CT last minute, but inadvertently scheduled a pick up for PM instead of AM. I noticed the change late that night, but thankfully before dispatched closed at midnight. They were able to adjust the pick up, giving 3 hours to reach the airport. Great customer service, I thought!! They fooled us. The pick up was more than a half hour late. After calling dispatch 3 times to find out the arrival time and being told the driver was held up in Milford (about 15 minutes away), the driver shows up with just 1 passenger!!!!! The driver was unapologetic and with less than 2 hours until the flight, attempts to pick up another passenger in Stamford. Sorry, Buddy, not this trip. Called the dispatch to let them know that they would have to get someone else because I was not missing my flight. Fortunately, was able to board the 9:40 flight, but we're now hesitant to consider the service again. Maybe with a 5 hour wait window for the price... read more

I have used this service quite a few times and was happy with it. EXCEPT AS NOTED BELOW about rude woman on phone!! Once, the longest, I had to wait 40 minutes INSIDE the ground transportation area for the van driver to retrieve me, after my flight arrived, but at least I was waiting indoors. I like the price vs. a private limo and the van for picking me up at a designated location TO the airport has always been on time, (or nearly so) and I like chatting with other travelers in the van. Also, when I had to call them in the past, they were always very friendly and courteous. HOWEVER HOWEVER HOWEVER, I just called to discuss a change and spoke with a woman who was very rude. My guess is its the same one about whom others have complained. She is going to ruin the business! Well, maybe she is the owner or the wife/sister/best friend of the owner....but there is NO EXCUSE TO BE RUDE. What is the point? Why not just be nice to people? Rudeness breeds anger in customers and that breeds more rudeness in response. It is a no win situation for everyone!! Oh, and I think her claim that "the phone system is out" (which I've heard before from them) is not true. Due to Metro-North commuter breakdown my wife and I used the Go Airport shuttle ($60 each) to get to JFK from New Haven on September 30th. The pick up was scheduled at 2:40 pm, and after a couple of calls to the company the van finally arrived at 03:15. The driver didn't even say hello or apologize for the delay while he literally throw our baggage to the back of the van. The trip to the airport was terrible, with the ramshackle suspension bouncing in every bump of the road while driving 15/20mph over the speed limit all the way down to NY. Once at terminal 4 he stopped the van, open the rear doors and told the 4 of us to unload the baggage ourselves. Worst service ever. My advice? Don't go airport with Go Airport Shuttle. read more

Wish I could give no stars. Awful. Have waited an hour or more for my shuttle multiple times. Have seen drivers yell at and disrespect passengers multiple times. Have had a 90 minute trip take four+ hours three times in a row. Dispatchers are totally unhelpful. I started using this company after having a bad experience trying to get QCONN to pay a refund it owed me, but I will never use Primetime/GO again. For parties of two or more I strongly suggest a taxi, as they often have flat rates to the airport that are barely more expensive than a shuttle. read more

Never again. Most chilling was the driver. Seemed normal enough until he snapped, out of nowhere, that "you're bossy" when I asked very politely if he could give us a blast of air in the back. It was a bit sinister and totally bizarre--it felt like "a woman should be seen and not heard" type of deal. I couldn't imagine what else would've prompted name calling and rudeness to a customer. Even after that I was still prepared to tip him but toward the end he snapped again when I asked him a simple and polite question. At that point I was due to be the last stop but didn't want to be alone with him so got out early and had my husband pick me up. The pickup protocol is a joke and I was left waiting 50 minutes with the usual string along every time I called to check in. "5 minutes" is their mantra and is never true. Avoid. read more

This business engages in fraudulent practices. I had booked a pick-up time of 4:40 pm (their recommended time for my 10:50 pm flight). At 1:45 pm I received a call from their representative telling me that "There have been several serious accidents on the highway, and you should therefore get on a van arriving at 2:40 pm at your pick-up location. If you get on the 4:40 pm van, you will not make it to the airport in time." I agreed, obviously, thanked them for their consideration, and rushed to finish packing etc., and made it on the 2:40 pm van. Guess what? That representative flat-out LIED. There was NO traffic jam, no huge accidents, nothing. I ended up at the airport at 5 pm -- and had to sit on the floor with my luggage and wait for 2.5 hours until the check-in counter opened. The company clearly lied to a few other passengers on the van as well, in order to squeeze as many people from this pick-up location (a local university) into one pick-up time rather than two, just to save themselves the extra trip. My experience was very negative. Don't bother booking an airport pickup online because all that means is that you will pay in advance but then they don't show up at the requested time. We booked our reservation online three weeks in advance, everything was confirmed. But an online reservation doesn't mean anything to them. We founf out the hard way that in actuality they just send a shuttle by your terminal whenever one happens to be in the area, whether you reserve or not. The dispatchers became very rude when we pointed out that we would be waiting for two (2) hours for our "reserved" shuttle (and this after a long exhausting flight). They didn't even listen, they just kept talking on, talking over us. They said that they could cancel the "reservation" and give a refund. But if you're at the airport after a long flight, the last thing you want is a refund. You just want to go home and sleep. This is a badly run business. The dispatchers are cocky and rude. I do not recommend that you book transportation with Go Airport Shuttle. read more
