Tammy is my makeup artist for my wedding (for me and my mom), and she did an amazing job. I wanted an elegant natural look, and she understood exactly what I wanted. My wedding had a lot of dancing, and I told Tammy at the very beginning that I will have a couple of high-energy dance performances along with several more hours of dancing. Sweating is going to be inevitable, and my biggest worry is that I will have raccoon eyes after just one dance! Tammy was very attentive and made me feel at ease both during the trial session and the morning of my wedding. Soon after the trial makeup session, I noticed that the mascara or eyeliner started smudging after a couple of hours, so I mentioned it to her. Tammy could not have done a better job as the make up artist for 7 of us for my wedding (me, my mom, and 5 bridesmaids). We all have different skin tones/types -- ranging from dark Latina skin to porcelain white girl skin -- and different preferences when it comes to make up, and yet she took care of everyone so beautifully. She batted 1000% with us - 7 women, 7 happy customers. Pretty remarkable in my book. Personally, I don't wear a ton of makeup on a regular basis; my normal routine includes tinted moisturizer, a quick swipe of mascara, some lip color and some blush. This being the case, I didn't want to look like a drag queen on my wedding day, but I knew that I would need some color and definition that only a pro could provide. Tammy was professional and very sweet from start to finish, an absolute pleasure to work with. My trial makeup application looked great and got the stamp of approval from both my then-fiance/now-husband and my very picky main gay. In light of these positive reviews, there was no question that I had to book her. In a nutshell, Tammy helped me look like the best version of myself for my wedding, and the makeup lasted perfectly until the end of our reception, after 2am. Tammy is the creme de la creme of makeup artists. Not only is she an incredible talent, but she has a terrific personality to match. Tammy did my makeup as well as my bridesmaids and family member's makeup for my wedding in October and I could not have been more satisfied. I was confused on the look that I wanted for the wedding and kept changing my mind, but Tammy was so patient with me and was willing (and able) to give me any of the different looks I asked for. Found Tammy through a friend who used her for her wedding, and glad I did. I normally do not wear makeup, and Tammy did a wonderful job on my trial, and then again for my and my bridemaids' makeup. I've only had my makeup professionally done twice before, and each of those times it looked like makeup was caked on my face and that I was a china doll/ geisha. In fact, each of those times, I wiped off most of the makeup. Tammy, however, is the opposite of this. Her approach is much more natural, "glow." I got married in June and Tammy was my makeup artist. She was very professional, friendly, and super competent. I usually don't wear any makeup, so I was quite scared to put on any makeup. Tammy kept the makeup light and natural, and made my eyes 'popped' by using the eyeliner and fake eyelashes. She was so sweet, not pushy, listened to my concerns, avoided colors I didn't like, and was so wonderful to work with. She uses fantastic products, and air brushes at the end for a finish. I had a bridal make up with Tammy Son in 01/31/2009. I was very satisfied with her profession, quality, and service. If you might not feel very close to her when you first met her, but you'd definitely feel trustworthy, friendly, and very helpful when your wedding day was coming close, and especially on your wedding day. I remembered on my wedding day, I forgot the wedding gown and was not satisfied with the bride's maid flower. She was there to help me and comfort me so that I could have pickup the wedding gown and suggested to replace a nice bride's maid flower. She also did make up for my family when that I asked her to do on the wedding day. She also stayed until the end of the wedding when I asked her to join my wedding, and she re-touched my makeup even I didn't ask her in advance. I am Asian, and I was happy and satisfied with the look that she did on my wedding day. Her cost was reasonable. Especially, she gave a good price on doing the make up for other members of my family :-). Another plus was that I called her to do my wedding makeup in a short time, about one and a half month before my wedding day. She was available and agreed to help me out :-).
