Not giving straightforward answers comes across as evasive and deceptive. If there had been transparency from the beginning about the numbers, the trade-in value, and the work done on the bike, this situation likely wouldn't have escalated. A more honest and respectful approach would have gone a long way.

I called and was told bring it on. After arriving and completing the paperwork, Nick the mechanic walked in to turn in completed paperwork for another bike. Don the service manager took Nick out to take a quick look, and then they pushed my bike into the shop & onto the lift. About 24 minutes later they turned the bike back to me fixed. Total charge, about $60. Their honesty, and dedication to customer satisfaction was refreshing. I was worried I had blown the clutch, but it just needed to be readjusted. The lock nut had come loose and the adjustment screw was jammed. These guys are the best! Great service, dedication to customer satisfaction, and honesty are their trademark!

They picked up the Bike yesterday and I am a half hour away from the dealership so this is a significant gesture. I will update again once I have the motorcycle back I will make a final updated rating. I brought a 2006 Kawasaki 250 KLX in for new tires, plugs and an oil change. I was quoted $600 to $650. It seemed a bit steep but at $165 an hour labor charge the math seemed about right. I just got the bike back and now there is a fuel leak evidenced by the drips below the bike and the smell. In addition, there is a bolt that was left off and put in the saddle bag without informing me or any explanation. And to top it all off my total bill out the door was over $1022 after an estimate of 600 to $650. 57% over estimate seems like a problem to me.
