I have been a valued customer for a number of years. I am always greeted politely and made to feel like a guest in someone's home. I travel to and from work a great distance and I find their hours of operations second to none. I can drop of early and pick up late on my way to I95. Avoid Go Green!! They are extremely unprofessional. I brought in a Men's dress shirt to be dry cleaned. When I went to pick the shirt up, I was told that it got stuck in a machine and was damaged. One of the cuffs had an 7 inch rip in it. I was assured that their tailor could fix the tear and it would be ok. When I went to get the shirt today, they did sew it. But you could see the large crease on the cuff. It looked awful. This was a high end dress shirt-Approx $80. I told the Indian lady Manager I was not satisfied and that I would have to go buy a new shirt. She told me that she was not going to give me any money towards a new shirt and that they did the best that they could. She kept referring to "accidents happen" and what can you do? Needless to say I wont be going back. I suggest doing the same unless you want to take gamble and hope they dont damage/tear your shirt, dress, etc. read more

Terrible terrible service they ironed out the pleats of my $400 skirt. Now they are claiming the skirt had no pleats because if it did thye would have charged me more. Horrible management does not take responsibility. read more

Go Green is my favorite dry cleaner. I've been going here for years and never had a problem, they offer excellent customer service. The staff is very knowledgeable & friendly. Place is highway robbery. $12 to hand finish a shirt? And they don't even do a good job. Shirts are wrinkled with messy collars. They also ignore instructions. I asked them not to crease a pair of pants and they did so. Will be going elsewhere. read more

I have been coming here for years. They are honest about ability to get things ready when needed and also about removal of stains/ potential issues with the clothing brought in. Sometimes you take risks with a garment based on age or condition, but they do their best! The service is great always in and out. read more

Finally tried them for the simple task of pressing 2 new shirts. Somehow, my collar stays disappeared. I have to question their standard clothing handling processes or their ability to follow the same. I think I'll continue to go elsewhere. read more

I dropped off some clothes to be cleaned. When I picked them up, the lady behind the counter counted my clothes in front of me to let me know she was returning the same amount that I dropped off. When I got home, I realized that I got someone else's slacks, and I was missing a shirt. So I returned the slacks and they told me my shirt is gone. Unbelievable. read more

I would give a rating of 0 stars if possible. They stained my husband's brand new shirt, put a hole in it trying to get the stain out, and were unpleasant to work with to remedy the situation. We were enthusiastic about a green cleaner and decent pricing for shirt service. Went there frequently-- at least once a week. Then one sad day I brought in a bright yellow designer trench jacket that my fiancé gave me when i finished the bar exam -- spontaneous gift with special memories plus it was unique and looked great on me. That is, until these jerks ruined it. Next time I put it on, it hardly fit! It was shrunk a good two-three inches!!!!! I took it back and they refused to believe me. I had to show them photos of me trying it on the day we bought it. The difference was undeniable. But they offered NO recourse, not even my money back for the destruction aka cleaning of my garment (which wasn't even that dirty!) NEVER bring your stuff here if you care about it. read more

Terrible service and worse customer service. put multiple holes in a new sweater. Then told me "everything has a shelf life". When I told them it was brand new $90 cashmere sweater he said "well $90 for cashmere is an indication of the poor quality of the item". Then told me he would have the seamstress look at it and get back to me before discussing paying me for the price of the sweater. Never offered to pay back at least what I spent on dry cleaning and I have not heard back from them in a week. Will never go back here! read more

Cleaning maybe average but do not stand behind their service. They lost a pair of good Brooks Brothers pants. Would only reimburse 50% since they were "used". I guess they figure I should find a lightly used pair in my size on E-Bay? Maybe they should not lose stuff vs unilaterally assigning a value they want to reimburse. Rude about it besides - and we did significant business with them. So, can't recommend them - they don't take responsibility for their service. We've moved on. read more

Please save your time and money and go elsewhere. The prices are unreasonable and the customer service is poor. I took three jackets here to have the sleeves shortened and to be pressed. The total was over $185.00. We do alterations several times a year for ourselves and my elderly in-laws, who always need sleeves and hems taken up to avoid tripping and catching their clothes on things. We have patronized several businesses in Mamaroneck, New Rochelle, Pelham, and midtown Manhattan depending on what's most convenient. $45 is an average price anywhere for a jacket with a lining. The jackets I brought were simple cotton jackets, no lining, no stretch, single stitch across - essentially cutting the sleeve to length and running it straight through the machine. Solo Clean up the street did the same alteration on the same jacket in a different color a few months ago for $30. If Go Green had charged $35 I wouldn't be writing this review. We're OK paying a little more here and there if it saves us time that week. This was not a request for rush services either. I called them within three hours to stop the job so we could bring them somewhere else. They claimed the jackets were done and already in Pelham for pressing. I found that difficult to believe. When I asked for the manager, I was told he would not be in until tomorrow and they would not give me his name. I just checked the Better Business Bureau to submit a complaint. I'm not surprised that Go Green in Mamaroneck is not registered and currently has a C rating for failing to respond to other customer issues - lost and damaged clothing that was not reimbursed. I would certainly prefer to patronize local businesses as often as possible, especially since so many of them in Mamaroneck have closed over the years. However, if they're not willing adjust to market prices or provide customer service for our hard-earned money, I don't see any reason to do so. read more
