From the initial estimate to final completion, the entire experience was smooth, professional, and extremely positive. They completed several major projects for me, including new fencing, new wire fences, new concrete stairs for a retaining wall, a new handrail for the retaining wall, and a new wood entrance staircase. The level of craftsmanship is excellent across every detail. Everything is solid, well-built, properly aligned, and clearly designed to last. The finished work significantly improved both the safety and overall appearance of my property. In addition to the construction work, they handled major tree cutting, including the removal of several large trees in my backyard. What once felt like a dense forest has now been completely transformed into an open, bright space. After the tree cutting and clearing, the backyard opened up to clear skies and natural sunlight, dramatically changing the feel of the entire area. The transformation was impressive and made the space far more usable and enjoyable. The concrete stairs and retaining wall work were especially impressive. The steps are clean, level, and professionally constructed, and the handrail adds both safety and a polished, finished look. The wood entrance staircase looks fantastic and immediately enhances curb appeal. The fencing and wire fences were installed neatly and securely with great attention to detail. I also want to mention that the rain started the day after the work was completed, so the photos don't fully do justice to how good everything looks in person. After contacting multiple contractors, I chose Alan for my backyard landscaping because his price was fair, he was customer oriented, and he had good communication throughout the bidding. He sloped my backyard so water ran away from the house, removing a lot of dirt in the process. He and his crew worked quickly and diligently while using stringlines to check the slope. Afterwards, Alan installed weed fabric taking care not to cut corners with the landscape staples. I was so impressed with his work that midway through the original project, I decided to make use of some pavers I had lying around by having him install a paver walkway along the side of the house. He was so efficient that he was able to incorporate it into the original timeline. Further, while sloping the ground for the paver walkway he unexpectedly encountered the remnants of a brick chimney buried in the ground.
