The ginger dressing salad was fantastic and the dressing had the perfect flavor. The filet was nice and tender, and the fried rice was very flavorful as well. Friday Night Supper Club! This place is amazing! We went early so there was no wait. The service was top notch, the temperature was perfect, soft music played in the background. We had egg rolls and edamame for appetizers and the I chose the Sushi Combo Platter B. It came with miso soup and the house salad with ginger dressing (my favorite!). It came with a variety of sushi (14 pieces in all!). It was so delicious but I had to share because it was a little too much. My husband chose the Go Juu Beef from the Asian Kitchen. While out running errands, we found this spot on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We were a little skeptical because it a one review and it was five stars. We agreed to try it anyway because her you never know. We arrived and was promptly seated and greeted by our server. We looked over the menu and it had a lotttttttt to choose from. We started with an order of dumplings and a crawfish roll. Both were delish and flavorful. Our lunch entrees were lamb chops with an awesome dark rum gravy and soba veggie noodles. I had given up on ordering lamb chops because I never get what I pay for but here they were cheaper and I got meaty chops cooked at a medium temperature. They were flavorful, juicy and tender. We were surprised by only one review however we left quite pleased with the food, place and service. We will definitely be back. So this is the 2nd five star review . My wife and I don't always get out for a meal by ourselves but this week got a babysitter and headed out for some sushi and noodles! Go Juu hit the spot! We didn't go in with super high expectations but left absolutely satisfied. Lots of options on the menu (I got the gyoza, Alaskan roll, and lo mein and my wife got the sushi combo box). Ramen, sushi, noodles, plates, mochi, dumplings, you've got a little bit of everything! I'm no sushi aficionado but it was really good! Lots of great options and seemed well prepared. I loved the noodles and brought home some leftovers. The ambiance is calm (given it was a Monday evening) and it's nothing fancy but felt clean and well maintained. Didn't break the bank and food seemed fresh. Our server was very kind and patient with us and a few other workers stopped by to check in too. I had been driving by this place and finally decided to drop in for some sushi. When I walked in, I needed to wait to be seated. I was seated very quickly. I was seated at a table rather than a booth which was I preferred, so I asked to be moved to an available table by the window and I was accommodated without issue. I was soon provided a menu and asked what I wanted to drink. (Within 5 minutes after being seated.) They served beer and wine. I ordered a Chardonnay and water, which was brought out very quickly along with a pair of chopsticks. I spent a few minutes reviewing the menu and shortly after, my order was taken. I ordered an 8 piece California roll and a side of vegetables. I asked if there was a "Crunchy California roll" available. There wasn't, but the waiter advised he could "add some crunchy toppings" to my sushi. I agreed to try that. Within 10 minutes, my order was brought to the table. The vegetables were hot and very good. The sushi wasn't bad either, but I feel like I've had better. The service was so pleasant. I was constantly checked on by servers as to whether there was anything else I needed. ("Can we get you anything else?," Would you like more water? Etc.) Every server met me with a smile. There were 3 or 4 TVs, and an average noise level (not too loud). I observed a couple of small groups which appeared to consist of families. My overall experience with Go Juu has been great. I've been twice since there recent opening. One visit was on a Wednesday when business was a little slower, but still a moderately full house and a busy Saturday. Service was consistent, super fast , and friendly each visit. Greeted and seated by a hostess each time. Both visits the restaurant had clean floors, tables , plates and utensils, which as busy as this place has been it's spotless . The food: Being that this restaurant is Asian fusion, we tried an array of things. Thai/ Indonesian/ Japanese. The menu is pretty large , so there is a LOT to choose from. All the food arrived to our table very fast, and hot might I add. Everything was delicious, but I'll definitely get the New Orleans roll next time I visit again. 5/5 overall! read more

The menu is vast. I thought I was going to a Japanese restaurant. But there was a lot of things that didn't look familiar. I have a culinary background in Japanese food. For me the first thing I try is sashimi. That tells you everything you need to know. This is not a restaurant where you want to have sushi or sashimi. Newnan it's not a town where you want to have sushi or sashimi. Normally I do not eat fried things. But I should have at Go Juu (5 10)name? They had some yummy Indonesian looking entrées on the menu. I might be willing to give them another shot and try those, however, when I complained about one item that was not right, the waiter just took it back and didn't offer me anything else. I am not used to that kind of service. I've eaten everywhere in the world from little tiny hole in the wall places to extravagant five star dining (in Lyon, France.) Don't order the sashimi. I was not impressed with the Sushi. Not a lot of fish in it. The Rainbow Roll was mostly snapper. Wanted tuna and salmon.The ginger was horrible. couldn't eat very dry. It didn't look like ginger. This is a great hidden gem and a must try! My daughter and I were excited about finally getting to try this restaurant out. The service was fast and the food was delicious. We had the Crab Puffs to start and they were hot and crispy. I had the Sushi Combo (spicy roll, Newnan roll, and it comes with the California roll) and the New Orleans Deep Fried Roll. The Sushi was fresh, fulfilling, and the deep fried roll was surprisingly good even though it had a light batter on it. My daughter had the hibachi shrimp and said that it was good too. I've been wanting to try this place and ended up meeting my brother here for lunch today, per his recommendation. We shared a bento box with Georgia sushi, spicy sushi (with salmon) and the California rolls. We also got a side of fried rice. It was all delish!
