This place is ok if your drunk. I decided to take my three year old son here last weekend. Man was that a mistake. I forgot how this place was since I had been there when I was 15. I took my son on the Super track so he can ride on the 2 seater with me. I quickly found out how dangerous this was. Every kid there, from 10 years to 16 did not know the concept of what the brake pedal was or if the gokarts could even stop. On the first race, I came about a turning corner were three idiots collided themselves altogether forming a road block. I pressed the brake and waited for the attendant to come and help the collided cars. As I waited, I heard more go karts coming down the turn from behind me, and my worst fears came true. It did not take an immense amount of common sense to see a road block of three go karts and know you cant drive through them, yet, one by one, by damn one I was hit from behind and the side of me. Fearing that my child may get whiplash, I told one of the retarded teenagers passing me, " becareful not to rear end me going so fast, I have a child in here." he replied with "ok" while laughing histericaly. As he and the other kids passed me, they proceeded to continue to go full speed toward the road block of Go karts, ramming into them as well, almost hitting the attendant. It was the greatest display of retardation I have ever witnessed. The workers didnt even kick them off the track. As I made my final laps on the super track, I spent the whole time driving defensivly. Every lap, I saw these deranged kids running into walls and corners holding down the gas pedal. After this was over, I took my son over to the turbo track. The track wasnt very long and the go karts werent very fast. I thought to myself, this would be more safer for me and my son to ride. As I started the race on the turbo track, I was continuosly getting rear ended though it wasnt that bad. On the final lap, the attendant red flagged the lights and closed in the gate, letting everyone know the race was over, and we all stopped from were we began. I sat and waited for all the other cars to come in at the end with the rest of us. Low and behold, here comes the last gokart, going as fast as it possibly can, holding down the gas pedal, the mentally retarded kid aimed right for us. As he hit my go kart, I reached for the back of my sons's neck and head bracing him for impact, making sure he wouldnt get whiplash. I was furious. The attendant came over and asked if my son was ok. Then he went to the dereanged retarded teen and asked him as polite as possible to be carefull. After I left the track, I never returned with my son and we spent the rest of the time in the arcade. I know that accidents happen, but these kids saw that hitting people at the highest speed you could go wouldnt get you kicked off the track. Anyone who bringes a child here, it is a lawsuit waiting to happen. read more

My first mistake was not reading the reviews on Yelp prior to booking a party for my daughter. Which is so not like me. This place is a dive. Customer service is pathetic. Our hostess for the party never got out of first gear. We even got there a half an hour early to decorate and have everything in order. When you would ask for something simple it would take her a half an hour at least to get it for you. Your party runs for 2 hours. Well it's supposed to but when your hostess and the other employees are too busy socializing or just slow it goes way over that. The different party packages include tokens for the games in the arcade. Still can't figure out why the hostess doesn't give those to you at the beginning of the party or at least around cake time? My daughter's party started at 3. At 5:30 we were still waiting for tokens we asked for at least a half hour prior to that time. Some of my daughters guest had to leave already. Not to mention I had a meeting at 6. Two of my guest went in to ask if they could please get the tokens or at least adjust the price accordingly because we need to get going. I walk inside after about 10 minutes. One of my guests explains to me the girl behind the counter was yelling at them. She wouldn't give me her real name obviously it was a habit of them giving false names. From her ghetto Slang to her rude attitude, I was appalled. I asked for a manager which by the way took another 15 minutes and two request for him. I'm not even sure if he was really a manager. They just seem not to care. As a business owner myself I do not understand how above can be acceptable? The place is definitely worn down and dirty. It would be nice if they had an inside party area. Not to mention a facelift on the place. They need to bring somebody in or the owner needs to get involved. The owner needs to hire a full new staff for the front end of the house. Every time I pass by the front desk there were at least two to three employees socializing. Grab cleaning supplies and get to work Now let's get to the food. The pizza is absolutely awful. If you order pepperoni pizza each slice comes with one pepperoni on it. The salads are not any better. They got a one star, because of the gentleman that came in and ran the track the last half of or party. He was kind and very helpful to our children. Maybe the rest of your staff including the supposed manager can take training from him. read more

Go Kart World is fun. It is easy to get to - 405 to Carson Ave - about two miles away from the Goodyear Blimp landing pad. Go Kart World is expensive. Example: 3 adults, 90 minutes, $80.00. While my kids love the bumper cars, it is the quickest way to throw $5.00 out a window. Not a tremendous value in these economic times for families. Their cars are difficult to control and maneuver compared to other go kart places, and while they try their best, the cars don't appear to be very well maintained. I recommend bringing glasses, as the cars in front of you will be throwing debris (rubber, trash, etc) up towards you when you're close. Today I even had gasoline splashed on my face from a faulty gas cap. If you must go, look for coupons online, and plan ahead. The best times to go are either when they first open, or from 2 PM - 4 PM time frame. It gets busy after school/work, but not bad. Go Kart World is much more fun when you can race against friends on the same track during the same race. If it is crowded, this might be difficult to coordinate. Parking is great when it's not crowded. Plan to park on the street (more like a dark alley) when it is busy. The bathroom is terrible, especially the one in the arcade area. They use Boraxo (white chalk stuff) for soap, and have no paper towels to dry with. To introduce your child to Go Karting, if you want to come here, they have a small oval track that is great for kids. Ask the staff to move the other cars not in use out of the way, though, as they tend to make easy targets for a collision. Mulligan's kiddie track is bigger, and the cars go a bit slower. I like the tracks at Mulligan's, Boomers, K1 Speed, and Golf N' Stuff much better, however they aren't as convenient to get to as Go Kart World. Note: I haven't tried the food or drinks. They have a Snapple vending machine. read more

Here's the thing about Go Kart World. It's awesome. First of all, if you're over 16, SKIP THE KIDDIE CARS AND ASK TO RIDE THE EUROCARTS. There is a night and day difference. If you go on the kiddie cars its good for giggles but it's not gonna get your heart pumping. If you are the type of person that gets hung up on looks, know this. It's not K1. What separates this place from K1 are two things. First of all it's competitive. You can pass, you can bump (there is etiquette however - don't be an ass and don't do it intentionally. I appreciate that the workers respect the racing aspect of the competition), and you can drift. Second, you can do it all at half the price of K1. When we come here we exclusively run on the Eurocarts. You must do qualifying races to get your license but once you do, you're good to go. It's a workout if you do it right, and guaranteed it will leave you smiling. Unless you suck at driving and keep spinning out or putting yourself in the wall, or worse, putting others into the wall. Not all cars are equally matched in speed. If your buddy gets a faster or slower cart it helps to recognize the fact and handicap for it, slowing down or speeding up as necessary. Ask the corner workers which cars are faster and they can usually steer you in the right direction. Staff here is awesome. Danny, Reggie, Patrick Big John (no longer). All great. That other guy though....wth is his deal? Who pooped in his Cheerios? I know you're in charge but stop power tripping bub. No need to be so unpleasant. If you have a helmet, bring it.. Also, if you've not done the Eurocarts...you will stay longer than you planned. It's addicting. The better I get, the better it gets. read more

From 2 years ago this place was a nice spot for everyone to come to hang with family and friends, as Covid went on and years went on the staff has became absolutely the worst.... most of the staff seem underage (younger than most ) so they don't have patience for kids especially younger kids , the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting no one ever cleans them every time I go into the bathroom, I see toilet paper on the floor there was blood in toilets gross wouldn't trust it. Literally teenage girls and boys Running in and out of both bathrooms just messing around tried telling management and all they do is swear under their breath and walk away from the issue The management is down the drain the owner doesn't care for his employees they don't get lawful breaks just whenever they feel the need to go get food and come back but eat while they work that's not right. The guys on turbo track have attitude and scream at the customers for bumping into the parked cars when the breaks don't work so don't know how to expect to stop when the breaks don't stop I talked to couple of the workers and the can agree to my statement this business should definitely be shut down 2020 go kart world was the best 2022 is now the absolute worst I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone read more

My boyfriend and I went to Go Kart World for the first time. We were excited and looking forward to a nice, fun day! Well, it was anything but fun. I do have to say, however that it started out fun. We warmed up on the Turbo track and then hit the Super Track. The Super Track is a bigger track with faster cars. You would think they would have some safety procedures in place. They do not. The only mechanism for safety is a seat belt. We proceed to race. Yea, it's a good time...till the end of the race when you must stop. Well, some asshole with no proper safety rules, rammed right into the back of my kart. I was at a dead stop. I was whiplashed forward. It basically ruined the rest of the day. Also, no one did or said anything, however I did get a couple of ice packs for my neck, but not till later. This place needs better safety precautions before anyone should be allowed to race on their track. Also, it is not properly supervised. By the way, the same thing happened to another person in the race right after mine. Pain people...Pain! UGH!!! K-1 might be a better bet. Thanks! read more

I will never be back. Where to start....... my first time there last week and I already saw so many red flags. The rides per person are over priced. I think that if your a parent riding with your 4 year old , the 4 yr old shouldn't need a ticket if they are not driving. The seat belts DONT WORK. Some don't click down others are so over sized that they hang off your shoulder like a huge t shirt. Too many young kids WORKING there. It was my first time and they didn't show or instruct me how to brake and when it came time to stop you think that they turn off the motor like at Disneyland autotopia ??? Nope. Although all the employees there are 20 yrs and younger they should be trained properly on how to instruct and operate the vehicle. The bathrooms are disgusting !!! Worse than a restroom at a gas station. They had rat traps set up in the game room, I'm not surprised they have rats. The game room is like 90 degrees in there. No fans No AC. 0/10, I was there with my brother, and my dad and we purchased the 1 hour deal. When we got there, the machine was broken and it took about 30 minutes to get our ticket. Then we went on the turbo track, where only me and my brother rode. The staff was not very aware, and didn't check the cars. I finished my race first, but my brothers brakes didn't work, he ended up crashing into me full speed at 30+mph. I had a concussion and had to leave. We ended up speaking with the manager, who then wouldn't allow us to get our money back or our tickets back to go on another date. She looked as though she didn't want to be there, had a nasty a** attitude and just told us to leave. Eventually, the short little manager gave us our money back after we threatned to write a bad review. This was the worst go kart place I have ever experienced. We went there last weekend. It was honestly weird. There were only about 5 workers. The arcade was turned off and the workers were following us creepily and were in back of us without saying anything to let us in the tracks where there was absolutely no one. They were basically following us all around the place. Plus, all of those workers seemed unfriendly except for one guy. They didn't say a word and seemed annoyed by our presence. I think friendly staff is essential to positive experience. We didn't have that. Plus.. I feel like they only had a few tracks. It was okay but not great and maybe not worth the $40 for two hours when we got in the same tracks over and over again. read more

Just had my 7 and 8 y/o bday party and we had about 30 kids and 25 adults. And the experience was nothing less then perfect. From the staff to the party planning I couldn't have asked for any more. I can definitely tell you my kids and their friends and parents will be taking about their birthday party all school year long. I highly recommend this place for a birthday party for your kids. I remember going to this park years ago around 2006.. I took my date here with me and it looks way better than before.. This one guy said this place looks ghetto, but thats so not true. The park looks well maintained and the go karts run fine.. Keep in mind this business has been here for more than 17+ years now and its still going.. I was in the arcade and saw walls of celebrity pictures ..Im amazed at how many celebrities have been here. I had a blast riding on their fast euro karts and champ karts....Overall my experience has been fun in GKW. read more

Best bang for your buck compared to K1 and Speed Zone. I took my family here during Labor Day weekend and had a blast! I definitely felt like a kid again. The reason for the 3 stars were for the quality of the go karts. Some were fast and some were slow. On the Turbo Track at the last huge turn, the front wheels start shaking as if we were to fly off the track. Pros - The tracks are awesome and well designed. The wait was moderate and never got crowded the time we were there. I would definitely invest more into go karts if I were the owners. read more

Do Not come here. The place is not what it use to be. Staff needs to be retrained Go Kart needs to be fix. We went the staff only race three cars and kept the line long. Race was so boring due to only two other cars racing. They did this for 4 races straight. My 5 year old did not have fun on the rides My 11 year old did not have fun on the carts I am 35 and did not enjoy the race a little bit. Arcade games are not exciting and claws do not work. Total fan of GoKart World - my husband and I used to head over here on the weekends when we were in high school and now we take our kids there. The kids think it is the next best thing to driving a real car - lots of twists, turns, ups, and downs. I forgot how much fun this was but we'll be back for sure -- considering organizing a little trip for the kids at our elementary school. That'll knock their socks off for sure. read more

I went to Go Cart World for the first time to attend a birthday party and not only did my 8-year old daughter think it was awesome...my HUSBAND did too! It brought out the little boy in him for sure. This place is perfect for a family outing, birthday parties or any special ocassion. My family could not get enough of the wide selection of carts they had to drive! It was too much fun!
