    Mini golf course
    B S.

Haven't been in many years I think almost twenty and I will say this place has some hidden gems. The mini golf is very well done, great theme. At one point my nephew and I were the only ones on the course which is sad as it is definitely a nice course for all ages. The go karts were fun, little bumpy on the figure 8 track but you get a good amount of laps in. Bumper boats were also a fun time. Overall the place has a good amount to offer for reasonable prices. Purchased a $50 play card that came with a $10 bonus gave 2 people the opportunity to do all listed above as well as spend $6 on the arcade.

First timer and kids liked it . We wanted to go to a go karting place but this one had more stuff. Basically there were 4 go karting tracks - 1 for Junior kids and 3 for larger kids /adults. It was fun . They actually let u drove for almost 5 mins per race. Kids loved it.. figure 8 track was the best . It's more for adults and bigger kids . Apart from go karts , there were mini golf courses, blaster boats , bumper cars, python coaster arcade etc. amazing timepass . Now coming to the cost - 45$ for all access or you can get 50/100$ cards and use what you like . I uploaded the points for each game . So , calculate and then buy ur best option . If kids want to play more , just buy them a 45$ band . The same card also works in arcade . So if u have anything left , u can play few games in arcade. Lots of parking and some food available . Overall it was a good experience!!

This was a fun place to go but I would recommend checking out what you want to ride before buying a full pass. There were a lot of rides that were shut down so there was only a few rides open to ride. Not much for the smaller kids so they enjoyed the arcade room more. There is lots of free and handicapped parking too.

Still one of the best fun places from my childhood memories! Watched my husband have quality time with his Dad & Brother! I mainly did the arcade because today was stupid hot & humid with a slight breeze. Over $60 later I finally got enough points to redeem for my fave Pokémon character!

My daughter and I had fun! We will come back soon. Nice for families, single parents and if you want to take a nice date.

Nothing more depressing than a closed themepark place.

Closed after October? How sad. I assumed this place would have been open so long as there was decent weather. Oh well, try again in the future I suppose. Overall: 2.0 stars ------ Pros: - On an earlier trip, I realized this place can be pretty fun. - Lots to do for most age brackets. Cons: - Closed after October and only open again in March. That's a shame. - Very pricey unless you come armed with a coupon, Groupon, or other discount.

When you have a toddler that loves the water, you HAVE to take them to great wolf lodge! We've been…read morehere twice now in the last year. The first time was just a day pass in the afternoon which is a great deal if you don't want to stay the night. And most recently we stayed the night and had a great time! We booked the kid cabin suite which can accommodate up to 7 people but I think realistically and comfortably, it would be 5. It comes with balcony access, a pull out sofa bed, a queen size bed, a bunk bed, a full size bed and one bathroom. The room is fairly spacious but could use either a bigger table and or an addition half bath at least to accommodate up to 7 people. This was great for us as we had 4 adults and one toddler. There are quite a few attractions here besides the water park. They have a pretty extensive arcade, glow in the dark putt, bowling, story time for kids, ropes course, laser tag and multiple restaurants! Obviously their main attraction is their huge indoor water park! They have things for babies to adults to try here! But I would say their main water attractions are geared more for small babies to middle schoolers. There are multiple water slides for all ages and there's a HUGE bucket of water that dumps about 1,000 gallons of water every 5 mins! Pretty cool! We added on the breakfast buffet for which I would highly recommend. This isn't your typical hotel breakfast! Their offerings were pretty vast and even included a MTO omelette station! If you want to entertain your kiddos, look no further than great wolf lodge for all your entertainment needs! SN: everyone gets a wristband to wear which grants you access to the water park BUT you can also use it to charge purchases to the room AND serves as you room key! Pretty cool!!

I'm so, so disappointed. At this price point I was expecting clean rooms at minimum. By the end of…read morethe first day (I'm still here, unfortunately) my feet were filthy. My sheets had dirt or sand on them. The "crafts" for kids, is crayons and a coloring page each time. Everything is so expensive here, that it reminds me of Vegas hotels. A single candy bar was 8.00. The buffet was actually pretty good but the restaurants are awful. Every attraction is designed so it is cost prohibitive unless you spend a ton on unlimited passes. I paid 24.00 to pay one fast round if laser tag with my 2 kids and myself. I called to ask for trash pickup and towels and ai said someone would be up "immediately." An hour later and no one came. I searched the internet for the front desk number (there is no lodge info at all in the rooms) and got voicemail so I left a message. Still waiting to see if they're going to come. Parking is somehow 20.00 a day. We have a handicap placard and there were very, very few handicap spots, we never got one and ended up having to park on the opposite end of the lodge every time, with an Autisic kiddo at risk elopement. The noise. Yes, it's for families. Kids are loud. But, who are these purely that are letting their kids run up and down the hall screaming every night. It's not just the kids, the adults are busy yelling at the kids to slow down. I've gotten so little sleep because it's so loud all the time. I will not be back. It cost my family of 6 far less to rent a 6 bed 4 bath oceanfront house in NC. Oh, and something I saw mentioned a lot- one of our adjoining rooms wasn't ready when we arrived. We arrived at about 4:15 and check in was at 4. It wasn't ready until 5. Not a huge deal for us if everything else had been cool, but it's just another thing in the list I saw mentioned a lot. It gets 2 stars instead of 1 because 1. The staff that I encountered was nice. 2. It's nice to find a place big enough for all of us. 3. The kids like the water park- it's a good size, but not big enough to justify the price.

A Day That Defied Reality: Our Elite VIP Tour at Busch Gardens Williamsburg…read moreThe Beginning: Already Impressed Before We Even Entered Let me start by saying this: I've been to theme parks countless times throughout my life. I thought I knew what to expect. I was wrong. Wonderfully, spectacularly wrong. Our day began at 10:15 AM when we arrived at Busch Gardens Williamsburg for our 11:30 AM Elite VIP Tour. Meeting Tyler: The Man, The Myth, The Legend I can confidently say that Tyler alone would have made this experience worth every penny. His energy, knowledge, and genuine enthusiasm set the tone for what would become one of the most memorable days our family has ever shared. The First Hour: Three Hours Saved. Yes, You Read That Right. Within the first hour, our group of four had ridden the top four roller coasters at Busch Gardens. Let that sink in. Four coasters. Sixty minutes. For context, on a typical busy day at the park, the wait times for these attractions can easily exceed 45-90 minutes each. Based on the posted wait times we saw at each ride, Tyler saved us approximately three hours of standing in lines - just in that first hour alone. This wasn't just VIP treatment; this was time-travel. The "Snacks" Revelation: A Glorious Understatement Tyler explained that "snacks" meant anything any of us wanted, anytime, all day long. Waters? Check. Energy drinks? Check. Icees, churros, soft pretzels? All of it. Throughout our eight-hour tour, our group sampled pretty much every food option the park had to offer. The funnel cakes with ice cream and toppings were a particular favorite. The various cakes, cupcakes, cheesecake, cookies - I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Tyler took care of everything with a simple tap of his card, never once making us feel like we were imposing or asking for too much. The Moment Everything Changed "This tour lets you ride any ride, without waiting, in any seat you want, as many times as you want." This wasn't just a theme park visit. This was a day where the normal rules didn't apply. A day where "I don't want to wait 90 minutes for that ride" simply wasn't in our vocabulary. Rides, Rides, and More Rides We rode everything. The coaster behind-the-scenes experience gave us an incredible up-close look at the inner workings of these engineering marvels. Feeding the Beast: Two Meals, Zero Complaints Our VIP tour included two full meals, and Tyler made sure we experienced the best the park had to offer. Lunch was at Das Festhaus, and at 6:30 PM took us to Trapper's Smokehouse, where the aroma of smoked meats had been tempting us all day. It did not disappoint. The Verdict: Eight Hours of Perfection Here's what truly made this experience exceptional: Tyler. Yes, the VIP perks are incredible. Yes, skipping lines changes everything. Yes, the all-inclusive food and drinks feel almost too good to be true. But a VIP tour is only as good as the guide who leads it, and Tyler was nothing short of outstanding. His knowledge of the park, his ability to read our group and adjust on the fly, his genuine care that we were having the best possible time - that's what transformed this from a great day into an unforgettable one. This tour was planned as part of a grand send-off for Ben and Jakub, who will be returning to Europe in June after their time with us. They came to America expecting a typical theme park experience. Instead, they got a day where magic was real, lines didn't exist, and every wish was granted before they even knew they had it. Would I Do It Again? In a heartbeat. Without hesitation. This wasn't just a theme park visit. This was an experience that redefined what a family day out can be. For anyone considering the Elite VIP Tour at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, here's my advice: Do it. Not "think about it." Not "maybe someday." Just do it. The Numbers Don't Lie Time saved in lines: Likely 6+ hours over the course of the day Rides experienced: Every operational coaster and major attraction Meals enjoyed: 2 full sit-down meals plus unlimited snacks and drinks Special experiences: 2 (Coaster behind-the-scenes + Animal Encounter) Professional photos: 33 captured memories included Memories made: Priceless Final Thoughts Busch Gardens Williamsburg's Elite VIP Tour is, quite simply, the gold standard for theme park experiences. From the moment we parked 100 feet from the entrance to the moment we left after eight hours of pure joy, everything was handled. Every need anticipated. Every wish granted. To Kate and the VIP Tours team who handled our booking and answered our questions with patience and professionalism - thank you. To Tyler - you're the real MVP. You took what could have been a fun day and turned it into something our family will talk about for years. Your passion for what you do shows, and we're grateful we got to experience it. And to anyone reading this review, wondering if the Elite VIP Tour is worth it: It's worth it. Every single penny.

If you aren't a hardcore ride enthusiast, the adult entertainment is pretty much limited to finding a nice spot to grab a drink. For adults who don't like coasters, early season is a total miss. They are incredibly cool, packed with big thrills, and 100% kid-approved. Arrive early! If you don't want to suffer in massive lines for the main attractions, you've got to be fast on your feet. Get to the park ahead of the crowds so you can sprint to the best rides first. While the lack of shows was disappointing, the park totally redeemed itself with pure, unadulterated nostalgia. My former pre-teen self was absolutely losing it because I got to meet Franklin--and had a chance to strike a pose, with Linus, Lucy, and hung out on the bench with Snoopy and Woodstock. These moments completely made the trip. As they say, "Happiness is anyone and anything at all that's loved by you." Go early in the day, hit the big tracks, and don't miss a photo op with the classic Peanuts crew!

We started at the bowling alley (our main event), and the lanes were clean, the scoring system was intuitive, and the party host made sure our group was set up and having fun. Despite a lot of guests bowling at once, wait times were reasonable and the lanes had comfortable seating areas for everyone to relax between turns. Apex has a gigantic arcade, axe throwing, bumper cars, an immersive dark ride, escape rooms, high-speed go-kart racing, Hologate VR, laser tag, mini golf, pool tables, a ropes course, and even sports simulators! If you can't find something you enjoy here, it probably doesn't exist. Everything was well-maintained, and the staff at each attraction were friendly and helpful, making sure everyone knew how to play and was having a good time. Food and drinks definitely exceeded my expectations for an entertainment venue. The bars are fully stocked, and the food menu ranges from classic favorites to more upscale options like pizza, burgers, wings, and salads were all fresh and tasty. Our server was attentive, had great recommendations, and was super quick with drink and food orders, which made our party even more enjoyable. Our only issue was when we went to the floor with the escape room to purchase tickets the person who helped us let us know what time the next escape and axe throwing session were and then we asked if we could do the minigolf course before the escape room. She said yes and charged us for it. Originally we had asked for 2 separate checks since we were with friends. But she just did it on one check and split the cost. She gave us only on receipt for it. When we went to the mini golf course there was a wait of about 8-9 people just for the first hole because of how over filled it was with kids. Kids just running around everywhere. We went back and just asked for a refund for the mini golf and we would just wait for the escape room since we didn't realize it was that packed with kids in there. We only had 25 minutes to kill and the first hole alone would take us those 25 minutes. The same person did the refund BUT she didn't tell us it would not be a refund but put it on two apex gift cards to use as credit....... She did not communicate this to us at all. She just said here you go and handed us those cards. I asked what is this and she said your refund.... That is not a refund that's like store credit. And we wouldn't have minded that if she just communicated it was non refundable.
