Listen, I don't usually get so WORKED UP about an oil change, but OH MYYYYY GOSSHHH this place is…read morethe BEEES KNEES. I'm serious, round up dem bees, gaze at dem knees, and take a knee in front of the Mr. Lube over on Saint Jame Street. Clear across town? Just hit the road and get the heck over here, it's well worth it. Ok, now that I've gushed enough, let me tell you WHY this place is LITERALLY THE ONLY PLACE you should ever get your auto tinkered with. 1. They are literally the nicest people alive, always smiling, asking about your day, lingering on that handshake in a way that suggests "hey, you're #1, truly, let me bask upon your glory" 2. COFFEE omg seriously, coffee. There seems to be no limit on the delightful sweet sweet brown nectar, although I myself cut myself off at 3. I don't know what kind of UNICORN tears they use to brew this magical beast but it is the raddest cuppa hot joe I've ever encountered in my 38 trips around this here sun. 3. The papers, THE PAPERS! you wanna know whats up on this crazy planet of ours? FRET NOT they have every newspaper you could possibly name! Except the Calgary Sun, I'm not sure why they don't have that FINE source of unbiased news coverage, but it's really the only flaw I can find. 4. They are FLUID EXPERTS not even kidding, the staff here use all of their finely honed 5 senses to taste, touch, smell and listen to your dear rustbucket's fluids and can diagnose even the tiniest fluid drippity drop. So. If that aint enough reasons to drop literally everything and get your fluids poked and prodded than you are an IRRESPONSIBLE CAR OWNER and you should push your car off a cliff this morning. nuff said.

I'd give a minus star if I could... went to Mr. Lube just down the street from me at 1311 Henderson…read moreHwy a couple of weeks ago for a simple oil change. They asked me what kind of oil I wanted and told just the regular oil. When they gave me the bill and got home, a few minutes later... instead of charging me for regular oil, they put in, can't prove it, synthetic oil for a lot more money. I went online to their website and sent a very crude feedback comment and never heard back from them. I will never ever deal with Mr. Lube again. Mr. Lube are rip off artists, don't deal with them. I'll be going back to Super Lube like I've done before and never had a problem with them.

Giving one star because I cant give negative 100 . Firstly…read morethe left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing at this company. The customer service is highly either suspect or not trained. You can't get estimates for general maintenance on theyre website ( oil changes, filter changes etc ). So on my experience in called for oil change on my particular vehicle ( passenger car ) if I brought my own oil and and was given a range $25 to $35. Great so i take it there and once done boom $79. At that point cant.do anything so the next day I called again. Just to ask again same info , and sane range given $25 to $35. So I called head office and wrote a email complaint as well attached with my receipt. Basically this company circled theyre wagons, basically called me for lying and blew me off. So here you are folks cat fishing at its ugly incarnation. There are lots of independent shops in town many with HONEST proprietors you dont need to deal with a corporate fraud. And thats exactly what Great Canadian oil change is. Should be called Great Canadian Scam

I would never suggest anyone to go here. I just got a car in August 2025 and in Feb 15 2026 it was…read moredue for an oil change for the first time since getting it from Volkswagen, so I took it to Real Canadian Oil Change on McPhillips. They changed my oil and let me leave with a peace of mind that everything was good. A day later my car was making weird noises, my dad checked and all the oil leaked out of my car. We contacted them and they scheduled to come on Feb 19 to re-do the oil. They couldn't figure out why my oil was leaking and said I had a might have broken head gasket and to take it to Volkwagen to get it serviced as it was still leaking. I got it to Volswagen and they found that Real Canadian Oil Change did not put a sealing washer which is required everytime you change the oil and was the reason why the oil was leaking, no broken head gasket either. They mention my engine is now damaged due to lack of oil lubrication, I let Real Canadian Oil Change know that they forgot to add a sealing washer, Real Canadian Oil Change on McPhillips then claimed my car was heavily leaking oil at the appointment "which they DID NOT inform me on while getting serviced" now I am in the process of seeking legal advice due to Real Canadian Oil Change on McPhillips denying their simple mistake. I'm a single mother of one with another baby on the way working FULL-TIME, and currently paying ppl to drive me to work and to doctor's appointments, the stress this has caused me has been very significant. I'm still currently paying my insurance and car payments while my car is sitting because I can't afford to pay 6000$ for a used engine or 9000$ for a new engine due to the damage from lack of oil lubrication. My car was driving perfectly until the day I took it to Real Canadian and has been undrivable since the 19th of February. Yet they claim my car was leaking heavily before the appointment. Based on the report that Volkswagen provided I gave Real Canadian Oil Change proof that Volkswagen said they didn't add a sealing washer and they're still not trying to resolve for pay for the issues that they've caused. I've been professional in contacting them and I'm just very frustrated and stressed since this has happened and they don't care.
