My daughter wanted to sell her Pokémon cards. I was going to take her to a different, well known…read morelocation but my son suggested this place instead. His friend has recommended, saying they offer more closer to value than the other location I was going to go to. He himself had sold cards here and was offered way more than other places. I'm so glad I came here. The guy was really nice. They were somewhat busy but he gave the option of grading cards for her and Venmo so we dont have to drive back! We got a great deal. She was super happy. Lots of parking as it's in a little shopping center. Where Chuck ECheese was. Definitely recommend coming here to sell (and buy) cards. Support local!

I got a call from my granddaughter yesterday afternoon. She shared she had gotten a Labubu and a…read moreSonny angel from this shop. Her first Labubu was "eaten" by their Golden doodle last weekend. After we hung up she called back and invited me to go there today after her brother's baseball game. Sure I replied without hesitation. She had a friend sleepover so 4 of us entered and we purchased 6 Labubus. The exciting macaron is hidden in a box in a sealed bag, unseen so it's like the surprise and suspense keeps building up. Her friend wanted mine called Sesame, you could tell by the expression on her face...so I let her switch and exchanged it for her green monster. I had secretly wanted the light blue or light teal one I saw on the pop mart app. Even sweetie's mom wanted mine and said she'd switch it for her white one. I told them to Jan Ken Po. Hubs came along so when they said aloha charms next I gave the excuse I had to feed hubs since it was lunch time. I told hubs to put my Labubu in the trunk cuz I didn't want it to get dirty at a restaurant. After lunch as soon as we reached our car I asked hubs for my Labubu. As he passes it to me he says, you're just like a little girl... I'm going to take that as a compliment

First off, I have actually been shopping here since they first opened in Mililani Mauka. This…read morespecific issue only started when they moved to Pearlridge Mall. I was hesitant on posting this review, but unfortunately this certain situation keeps on happening and I am not going to stand for it anymore. Me and my partner frequently go to this shop whenever we are wondering the mall, and almost every time we have gone and shopped, we are almost ALWAYS being watched... it is very disturbing and disappointing seeing that it seems like they are profiling us. Things to note about us: my partner ALWAYS wears small fanny packs, and me, a purse that is closed at all times. We wear casual clothes, and yet, they continue to stare at us, and follow us around the store. Of course, we had NO INTENTIONS of stealing, and yet them watching us makes us feel like criminals. There should not be an excuse of the employees being "too shy" because this is inappropriate behavior, and again, makes me feel very uncomfortable, leading me to my next point. I will no longer shop here again. The amount of times we have caught employees literally WATCHING US is unacceptable, especially since I have previously worked retail myself, and am always frustrated with theft as well, but just choosing random people to watch without any actual ques or a real reason is just disgusting. There are things that you are trained to watch for when you work in retail, and it seems like there is a lack of that. It makes me sad because I loved your products and what you had to offer, but I am sorry, if I can't shop here without being watched like a hawk, then I can just take my business elsewhere. Please train your employees better and train them correctly on watching for theft in the right way. I hope no one else has to experience this. :(

Since we had free parking in the shade by Macy's, we really explored all of the shops that carried cute merchandise. Mini Q is on the ground level and has SO MUCH variety! It was overwhelming! I didn't know most of the anime figures. There were some helpful employees roaming the floor. I asked about one unboxed "Big Into Energy" Labubu that was in a cellophane package, enclosed in a glass display case. Her name is Love. The price was a bit high, so she's authentic... and - if I got her - I wouldn't be guessing about which one I would be getting... I'll think about it... LOL!

Not much has changed since covid slowed it down. Same location at the Ala Moana Hotel. Admission…read moreis $3. The focus is, and has always been Comic Books, toys and all things related. Similar sizes to what was there in the past, if you are looking for something related this is a nice place to come. It's comparable in size to the antique show they have at the Blaisdell but with more focus on Comics and toys. They usually have this expo at the Ala Moana Hotel twice a year, the other one was held in May this year. Pretty standard set up and fun things to buy. Parking in the area was at a premium as the " Made in Hawaii" show is also today ( 11/13) Come by to support this locally organized expo. Support local- buy local.

In the last few years Honolulu has seen a large increase in collectible and toy shows. This is one…read moreof the first and is still going strong! As of this writing, the show is in its third year and has gotten bigger and better each time. Keep an eye on their website or Yelp events page for the dates and times. The show is held in Ala Moana Hotel's ballrooms on the second floor. Each year it has taken larger floor space and added dealers. Around 40 dealers/table participate bringing all manner of toys and collectables for kids of all ages. Admission is $3 per person, kids are free. Cosplayers also receive free entry! Tickets are sold at the door, cash only. It's laid out like an trade show with dealer booths and tables along the walls and center of the main room. Who participates changes from year to year, but it's typically the same local people; both from stores and hobbyists. The hotel provides water stations around the show, which is appreciated. The selection is not limited to: LEGO, action figures, video games, anime, DVDs, plush toys, Japanese imports, Funko Pop! figures, high-end statues, and comics. Basically, if it was or is popular, you'll find it! Most dealers handle exclusively in cash, but more are taking credit these days. To be safe, bring small bills for good deals. I'm a big fan of the "junk" bins on the floor; there are tons of deals to be had as sometimes people are just looking to get rid of merchandise. Thank you to the organizers for making this a fun must-attend event!
