They have some unique coffee combinations, and we did try it with the goat milk, which we couldn't really tell any difference so I guess that's a good thing. We had come from the national polka festival and already eaten too many kolache so we didn't try any of the baked goods, but they looked really good. My biggest concern is by signing the 3 page membership agreement that I'm pretty sure I am now part a cult that will eventually try to overthrow the government using an army of goats. If you're into goats and coffee, this is the place for YOU! Everyone there was super pleasant, and kind. The coffee is good and all of the usual suspects are available. This is a beautifully clean place and given the nature of it, farm property, thats no small thing. The restrooms are clean, bright and well appointed. There is a nice seating area indoors and the outside area is really good as well. The outdoors area is separated from the goats by a fence, but they're all in view. The goats are ultra cool IF you like goats, I do! There's a couple of quarter operated feed dispensers available. If you like goats, bring your quarters!! Understand that the goats KNOW what's going on and will likely mob you. It's not at all unusual for them to stand on their back legs and rest their front hooves on you. They're likely to be muddy, so you're likely to get muddy as well. Wear your muck boots if you have them, no flip flops or new beautiful shoes. Definitely give this place a try! read more

What I will say is we came across here on a whim and as soon as I saw goats were here I was sold. However you need to know that if you are only prepared to spend 5-8$ on a coffee you will be asked to pay a membership fee on top of anything you purchase before you can even purchase it. And it is pretty steep I think 15$ per person. My husband and I obliged since we drove all the way here on our way to Tyler and wanted coffee but it's something you should be aware of up front. If you only ever come once you might want to consider if you want to spend the money. But after all that the coffee was really good- my first goat milk coffee- it does make the taste of the latte different but I'd say a good different! Kolaches were amaaazing so fresh and yummy better than normal doughnut shops. And the goat milk cheesecake omg it reminded me of sweet goat cheese it's crumbly and so delicious I should've bought more! And of course the goats- I had a fear of them for a while after a bunch chased me when I was younger but these are super tame and friendly. They will put their hooves on you like a dog trying to greet you if you have food but they're very gentle and when they eat the food they lick it off your hand not bite. Place was super cute and felt like you were in a quaint vacation town somewhere outside of Texas. The line was long and slow moving as you have to sign up for a lifetime membership which is $10. I had an iced sugar free lavender latte that was pretty delicious. They have 2 roosters in the back and plenty of goats to pet. Be warned, if you go in the pen and they see you have a cup a food they will all rush up on you. The brown black and white ones like to put their 2 front hooves on you so be aware of that. This place is strangely kinda cool. The coffee is decent. You have to sign on to a membership of some kind to enjoy the place. I am assuming this is some sort of small business side step for avoiding some expensive license. We came on a Saturday morning around 10am. I had a cappuccino with an extra shot of espresso and a little vanilla and a blueberry biscuit. My 12, 6, and 4 yo got iced cinnamon rolls. I recommend getting them heated, and then heated a little more. Staff was clean, cordial, and informative. Inside is clean, cool, and peaceful. There are some games inside and a little gift shop. They sell goat stuff. Like cheese, bath bombs, etc. They have a huge white dog named Pepper. He hung out under the back porch. The kids loved him. They had a couple roosters, that kept announcing themselves. The goats were kinda cool. If you like goats. They had a gum-ball machine dispensing feed for a quarter. Baby goats and adult goats. Big hit with my kids. No real Wow factor, but a cool different place to enjoy some coffee and let the kids pet a farm animal. I've really enjoyed the coffee and treats here in the past, and I was excited to share the experience today by bringing two new guests who even purchased memberships. Unfortunately, today's visit was disappointing due to a concerning interaction with the owner. We saw a goat struggling to free its head from a fence and notified staff twice. The owner came out and, rather than taking immediate action, said, "Let me go get my husband," and added, "People are worked up," before walking back inside. This response came across as dismissive and unprofessional--especially given that the animal could not get their head out for 40 minutes. In the end, two guests had to step in to help the goat, while staff did nothing. This left a very negative impression, and despite how much I've previously enjoyed visiting, I don't feel comfortable returning or recommending this place anymore. read more

What a lovely place! The staff is kind and helpful. We got to meet the owner, Jenine and she is so sweet. My kids wanted two kinds of lip balm that she was out of in the shop and she went out of her way to get them the scents they wanted. The food was delicious. We had brownies, scones, fudge, the quiche and Kolaches and they were all super yummy. The drinks were perfect and the best part of all- visiting with the goats. If I could rate this establishment 0 stars- I would! This was our first time visiting this place as my mom saw it and suggested we give it a try. We love to support local businesses, however, this one will not receive any support from us. Upon entering, while I stood in line to place our orders, my mom walked with my young children towards the door that leads to an outside area where they keep the goats. As soon as my mother opened that door, the lady on the register immediately turned towards my mother and children with a look of disgust on her face and stated that if we weren't members then we couldn't go outside to their goat area. She was rude when she made the statement but my mother responded back to her politely as, considering this was our first time here, we were not aware of their rule(s) for seeing the goats. Now, I can completely understand and respect the fact that if they require membership in order to see their goats, that's their right as a business. HOWEVER, that lady needs to understand that it's not just what you say BUT HOW you say it. I even turned to my husband and asked him if he saw the look on her face and if he had heard her tone and delivery just to ensure that it wasn't just me. He agreed that she was rude with her delivery. Now, I did look around and notice that we were the only Black people there. So I called my kids and mother from that door and told them we're leaving because I didn't like her attitude. And I said it clear enough for her to hear me. In the end, I took my abundance of coins and my family right down the street to Starbucks and spent my coins there---and had a LOVELY experience and enjoyed my STARBUCKS coffee! Don't even get me started on how cute and entertaining the goats are!I came on a Saturday morning and was not aware of all the recent media attention they had gotten. There was a long line to enter and get your membership (Which isn't as scary as it sounds.) Membership prices vary on where you are traveling from and is clearly defined on their website. The staff is very friendly and kind despite the overwhelming amount of business. I feel they could benefit from digital waivers, membership signups, and limiting the amount of people with time slot access (to avoid the long wait times), but I can understand they want access to be available to everybody. Walking in this place was very clean and friendly, however I wish I would have read the reviews prior to my visit because no where on the website does it state the $20 membership fee that you have to pay. You have to pay it if you order also- even if you don't see the goats.. so we paid the fee to get my kids some kolaches, then went outside to see the animals but then to feed them you have to pay 25 cents per cup. Again that wasn't listed on the website. So we're feeding the goats through the fence and I see that you can go into the fenced area so I go back into the shop and ask if people can go into the goat area and the worker says "yes". ( doesn't show how to open the gate where to go and open the gate or rules for when you go to the goat area) so I asked the worker to show us. Just in town for a couple weeks and my husband and I are always on the lookout for coffee shops. We've drive past the Goat Farm Coffee House a couple times, so yesterday, we skipped our at home coffee and went there. It's a cute and inviting little coffee shop with a few pastries and store that sells goat milk products. The young woman greeted us then went into a long speech about being a "certified" facility. The blower behind her was on and it was difficult to hear her. It seemed she went on forever, so I tried to cut her short and give her our order. That was when she said we can't buy anything in the store without paying for a membership.....and sign a 2-3 page form. $15 per person for a year long membership, which seemed crazy to us, then she said if you are just visiting the area, you can pay $1 per person for a 1-day membership. My husband wanted to leave, but I convinced him to pay the fee AND sign the form. Ugh. He had the cappuccino and I had the white mocha coffee. We each had a pastry. Everything was delicious! We stepped outside afterward and saw the goats and roosters. We didn't pay for the goat food so we didn't feed them. It was all very pleasant, but we won't go back. The owner should tack on 35 cents on each item and put it in the "kitty" for the farm animals, rather than turn customers off with the "Membership". read more
