So nonetheless, after a few words exchange not bad, but I was trying to prove a point that I have bought dried strawberries at 50 Cent a scoop before several times and what I have come to realize is some Starbucks will allow this, and others will not which brings me to my point. I was told it was a corporate rule across the board and they don't break the rules and I said well yes you can and you have. Consistently average. I swear the cups are getting smaller. The hubs got a grande blonde with a splash of half and half. Well the half and half must have been ice cold because it instantly cooled the coffee to a blah temperature. Disappointing. My chai tea was fine but I ordered it extra hot, it was not. We're moving away from Starbucks and onto non chain or small chain coffee shops. Consistently inconsistent. I have always been a die hard Starbucks fan but the quality at this location and really all, is just majorly slipping. Not to mention you get an attitude if you ask them to remake something. After you spent $10 for a drink. We had to convince the baristas there was no vanilla in the cold foam and had to argue with them after they told us it was pre-made. Although, whoever pre-made it in fact forgot the vanilla. Worst thing overall about this location is the crazy long lines. It doesn't matter what time it is you are sitting in the drive thru for 20 minutes. Eww, I just tried my husbands medium roast coffee they just served to us. He just had regular coffee with nothing added. If we weren't in a rush we would be getting our money back! The coffee was less than warm, like room temperature. It was extremely bitter tasting, I couldn't even take another sip. I couldn't believe they would serve it to someone like that! Coffee should be rich in taste, hot and steaming, and with no bitter notes whatsoever. Would they serve themselves coffee like they did for him? I don't think so. Only two customers in the restaurant who were seated and waiting for their drinks. I walked to the register to order my drink and four employees were standing up talking. The fifth employee was making drinks. The four Caucasian ladies who were talking never acknowledged me standing at the register. They didn't say, "one minute" or nothing. They were talking as if I wasn't standing there. The woman who was taking orders at the window removed her headset from her ear to around her neck as she chatted with the other three ladies standing near a coffee machine in front of the register. Whomever was waiting at the window was waiting like me. What they were talking about had no sense of urgency to have us all waiting for a $5.68 cup of coffee (venti). As I stood there for 3 minutes with no acknowledgement, I realized I was waiting my time and headed for the door in an attempt to give my business to another Starbucks on my commute. They don't tell you that ahead of time, and instead of turning off their mobile orders or changing the wait time on it, they let you find out after arriving at the store. This happened to me for the 5th time today. The app said 4-7 minutes for my order, then when I got there, the door was locked and the drive-thru was wrapped around the shopping center (at least a 30 min wait). I spoke with the manager, and she refused to let mobile order customers come inside and refused to give me a refund, but my coffee would've clearly been cold had I waited.
