    Japanese Bowl with rice noodles
    Vanessa B.

I LOVE Goatocado .. I'm a new vegetarian and they are so delicious and clean. They're not a "fake" healthy store where they use food with fillers because I've never felt bloated after eating there. I've tried the Vietnamese and Japanese bowl. My recent experience I added a side of rice noodles to my Japanese bowl and it was chef's kiss. I'll probably say that I love the Vietnamese the best so far but I still have others to try. My husband got the California tortilla and was shocked at how much he enjoyed it (why the camera didn't eat first). Anyways, I love stopping by here when we're in Richmond. Also, the staff is so nice and personable no matter the time of day. I've gone around closing and also mid day and their employees are chipper and so kind.

The thai ramen was absolutely delicious. The broth had such a pronounced flavor of lemongrass and it was fairly savory. Staff is very friendly. Everything in the restaurant is meant to reduce waste which is fantastic!

My kid loves goats and avocados. So of course we had to eat here, thought it would be a cheap eats, but man does everything add up quick. Ramen was really good. Fun flavors really come together. Some things were just ok. I'd still probably eat here again if I lived in the area. Food comes out quick. Cute trendy little spot.

This was very good and very healthy! I got a Vietnamese wrap and it was so flavorful and generously sized. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options. All their sauces are vegan too! It was $18 for my wrap, and so worth it! They have indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of street parking

I had a really nice time here ! I was able to get a healthy twist on ramen but Mexican style without quinoa. I will be returning. I was even able to get a 100% veggie bowl but I didn't even feel like I needed meat. The food came out fast and the ambiance was so cute and they have outside seating!

Was visiting family couple weeks ago and they recommended this place; everything was fresh and fast. I would definitely go back!

If you're like me and searching for a restaurant with fresh, green ingredients, look no further--Goatocado will not disappoint. We decided to try something different this time around. My husband picked the Mexican ramen with gluten-free rice noodles, while my sister and I split a Mediterranean quinoa bowl with grilled chicken. The Mexican ramen quickly became one of my favorite dishes! It had a nice kick to it but wasn't too spicy (my tolerance level is low). My sister loved the Mediterranean bowl, though I think I prefer the California bowl, so I'll be trying that next time. The staff is nice and welcoming, and the ambiance is great for both small and larger groups, with ample indoor and outdoor seating.

A solid healthy bowl that is quick and convenient!! I haven't been to their brick and mortar, but have had Goatacado several times from their food truck. Each bowl I've had has been filling, well balanced and nutritious. They also do a great job modifying for food allergies and have great vegan and vegetarian options.

You order on a kiosk. This place is popular. That's great. Since we are from out of town this means they have great food. Friendly service and the outside seating is nice. Big wood tables. Beautiful day to eat outside. We loved it. Got a Mediterranean bowl and a Mediterranean bowl with chicken. Both awesome. Fresh spring mix with beautiful quinoa and all kinds of veggies. It is so pretty. I love all the colors. The chicken what grilled to perfection and what amazing flavor. Juicy inside. Topped with a Mediterranean dressing. The best bowl I have had. If your in the area pop by. It is awesome

Great food and always quick service! I love this place when I'm craving a healthy but cozy meal. The patio is so cute and it's even more fun to dine out there in the rain. The menu items are pricey but it's worth it.

Fresh, veg, moist Great for late lunch, healthy focus friends, cheap beers This is my second time visiting this restaurant, and honestly, the first time wasn't that memorable. I decided to give this another shot recently when I was craving veggie-heavy bites for dinner. The food itself is very flavorful. It seems as though there's a good use of fresh ingredients, and for the most part, I find that the flavors are pretty well suited for the ways in which the food is presented: in bowls, wraps, and, what seems to be a new addition, Ramen. You order on your own at a kiosk and are notified when your food is ready. The only downside to ordering at the kiosk is that you have to press each individual menu item to find out what exactly is on that item, so there's a lot of selecting, voiding, and selecting to avoid. I do not recall seeing any sort of physical or printed menu. There's some pretty lovely seating on a good day. You can sit outside, and there's also a bit of inside seating. It looks as though they have a few sides, a couple of options for four-dollar beers, and some house-made beverages. Personally, I have some thoughts about the steps in preparing the food. There are many inconsistencies with the size of vegetables, which sometimes look like a small piece of red onion or a huge slice and cluster of them. This could easily be overlooked. It just depends on who you are and what you like. Tofu is lovely. I'm not sure what the secret is, but it absolutely works.

Mexican Ramen. Without a protein. Very tasty, but the portions are too small given the price.

The menu has so many tempting options that it was hard to choose, but we both landed on the Hot Chicken Sandwich with cayenne butter--and we're glad we did. It had the perfect amount of heat: enough to bring some spice without overpowering the flavor. On the side, I ordered the green beans after our bartender/server highly recommended them. Normally, green beans wouldn't be my first choice, but they were seasoned perfectly and ended up being one of the biggest surprises of the meal. My partner chose the mac and cheese, which was the superior side (although both were excellent). The service was friendly, attentive, and genuine throughout the evening. Despite arriving on a Friday night without a reservation, we had no trouble getting a table. They only accept reservations for parties of 5-8, so I'm glad we decided to take our chances. One of my favorite parts of the evening was chatting with another guest at the bar. He and his wife shared several entrées with their young son, and they couldn't stop raving about the short ribs--which their son happily claimed for himself by the end of the meal! They also highly recommended the salmon, so we've already got ideas for our next visit. The only real downside has nothing to do with the restaurant itself: parking in Scott's Addition can be a challenge. I'd recommend allowing yourself some extra time to find a spot or, even better, taking a rideshare so you can start enjoying your evening right away. Lunch. Supper! has earned its reputation as a longtime Richmond favorite. Great food, excellent service, and a relaxed atmosphere make this an easy five-star recommendation. We'll definitely be back.

Only street parking is available, but it wasn't too difficult to find a spot. The atmosphere: Very rustic vibe with some farmhouse-style decor. They have table, high-top, bar, and patio seating available. The food: I opted for the Chicken and Waffles with a side of cheese grits. I chose to make it hot for more spice. It's served with one whole waffle, two large pieces of fried chicken, and syrup on the side. The chicken was not seasoned as much as I hoped and wasn't as spicy as I expected, which was a bummer. The cheese grits were alright as well, but not as flavorful as I hoped. My partner ordered the Double Barrel Bowl, and he really enjoyed it. It was packed with pulled pork and was plentiful and filling. The service: Great and kind service from Mave (I believe that is her name but I'm not entirely sure). She informed us about the daily specials and was attentive throughout our visit.

One of my favorite things about Burtons is how versatile it is. Whether you're stopping in for happy hour, grabbing dinner, meeting friends for drinks, or planning a date night, it's always a solid choice. The Carytown location is another plus, with plenty to do before or after your visit. Parking can be a little challenging depending on the time of day, but that's expected in such a popular area. They of course didn't let me down but I was so surprised on how great the food was. The Bang Bang broccoli was hands down my favorite. So tangy and sweet with this crazy crunch. The garlic butter shrimp were amazing and cooked to perfection. I also had the most wonderful garlic bread slices. Literally could have eaten an entire basket with or without the guac. Burton's has such an amazing selection of alcohol. They don't even have rail alcohol just top tier offerings. I enjoyed an espresso martini made with tequila which was absolutely perfect. I also had a desert flower made with mezcal, elderflower and prickly pear. Listen I can't wait for another. Huge shout out to Yelp for the amazing event and our server Peggah who was absolutely the cutest. Great customer service; knowledgeable; made suggestions and was super personable. They checked in on us a fair number of times, but they still forgot to return to give us what we had asked for. By the time we were ready to leave, we still haven't gotten our dressings or our condiments. I also had asked for my burger to be well done, but I got a burger with quite a bit of pink in it. I didn't want to ask for it to be placed back on the grill because I didn't really want to wait longer for my food. Although I wanted my burger to be well done and I didn't get it that way, it was still pretty good. The fries though, I think was the best part of it. The fries were perfectly seasoned and crunchy! I also ordered a coke. Just a heads up, they don't do free refills on the sodas, so each cup is $4. My party also ordered salmon l'orange and a romano salad with salmon. My friends really enjoyed their main dishes, but we did ask for extra dressing. The restaurant is decorated in a boho-style vibe, and it was cute. We found the lighting on the side dining area to be a little bit too dim once the sun went down, but I do think it would've been perfect for a date night vibe. Overall, we had an okay experience.

Upon entering, I was reminded of a 1950s pharmacy by the humongous "Prescriptions" sign hanging above the bar, and the antique furniture, bar, and barstools splayed throughout Tarrant's. There was a solid crowd at the bar; it's clear there is a regular crowd that sits and hangs out here. We were promptly seated by a young blonde woman in the dining section (behind the bar). Our server, Nadia, was an enchanting brunette, training another young server, Sierra. She took our drink orders and gave us plenty of time to review the menu, checking in after a few minutes to see if we were ready. We finally decided, my partner ordered the 10" Bianca White (pizza), and I chose the Sailor Sandwich. Unfortunately, the sailor was not in the cards for me, and Nadia suggested the Reuben as they were similar. They brought out breadsticks while we waited, and the food arrived within 10-15 minutes. I was pleased with the atmosphere, the old-fashioned chandeliers, the large mirror, the floral paintings, and the rustic frames, all of which added to the restaurant's stated aesthetic. The pizza was hot and savory, while the Reuben had buttery toast, crispy corned beef, and a light smattering of sauerkraut (TBH, I didn't even notice the sauerkraut). For dessert, we indulged in the upside-down walnut apple pie, served with vanilla ice cream, all made from scratch, and beautifully delicate. Our time at Tarrant's Cafe seemed like a stroll into the past; the only indication of modernity was the ordering kiosk used by the staff. We truly enjoyed our time and had deeply meaningful conversations without enduring the hustle and bustle or the rowdy cacophony of an intense crowd.
