Love having this place close to home. My husband and I definitely try to come when Nancy is working because she has the best personality, friendly and attentive. I'm not going to adjust my stars for this, but there are some workers that are NOT attentive, have a bad attitude and/or were texting on their phones. We did tell Nancy about those concerns during times we did not see her working. Food wise - we always get wings! My favorite is buffalo hot. Love them, so good! I like the pepperoni flatbread. Great TV's with clear picture, large enough to see from anywhere in the bar and plenty of seating. This is a great place to watch any sporting event and the music was a great mix of genres as well. The food was alright, i will skip the entrees next time and just stick with their apps. All the appetizers we had were incredible. The fried zucchini was crispy and flavorful with an amazing smokey sauce that came with it. The boom boom shrimp were cooked perfectly, crispy, and flavorful. However, the wings with dry rubs were bland and very dry, overcooked. The sauced wings had much better flavor but got soggy and were also way overcooked and dry. The burgers were under seasoned as well and the chips and salsa tasted like jarred salsa with cardboard chips. They have a huge variety of seasoned fries, we had the cajun and they were cooked perfectly, seasoned well and delicious. Service was ok, they messed up several drinks orders bringing us drinks we didn't order multiple times that we kept having to send back or talk through with our server. They resolved all the issues we had but it just never seemed very smooth and kept re-occurring which was frustrating and made me question my check but since i never had the chance to look it over since the device they handed me only showed the total. I asked for a printed receipt but never received one. The owner did come by and talk to us and she was very friendly and accommodating. I wish they served more local craft beers but mostly only served generic commercially available beer. Even after ordering a different beer, they kept bringing me the same one. Overall, it was an average experience. We had to wait about five minutes at the bar before anyone acknowledged us, even though it wasn't especially busy. The menu was also more limited than we expected, so there weren't many options to choose from. The atmosphere was okay but the service could have been more attentive and a broader menu would definitely improve the experience. We did not stay to eat. read more

I stopped by GOATs Arena for NFL Sunday, and I'll give them this, they nailed the "arena" part. Giant screens everywhere, and the staff didn't blink when I asked to switch one over to my game. Big win there. Food-wise, though, it's just okay. The burger and fries were fine if you set the bar at "serviceable," and the nachos looked like someone forgot the queso was part of the recipe. For what you pay, it all feels a little... ambitious. Once kickoff hit, the volume went from "fun atmosphere" to "standing next to a jet engine." It's hard to enjoy your drink when you can feel the commentary in your chest cavity. All in all, it's a fun concept and a solid place to catch a game, just maybe not the place if you like conversation, eardrums, or cheese on your nachos. read more

We really wanted to love this place because the atmosphere is great and it's close to home, but unfortunately both the service and food were very disappointing. Our server, who was also bartending, was friendly enough, but her attire felt very unprofessional for a bar/restaurant serving food. This is coming from someone who previously worked at Hooters, so I'm not easily offended by casual or revealing uniforms. However, her outfit stood out as inappropriate for a business setting. While other servers were dressed in all black, she appeared to be wearing pajamas or clothes only appropriate for the house, and didn't match the atmosphere of the restaurant. Service overall was poor. We were never offered refills on water or drinks, no one checked on us unless we flagged someone down, and we weren't offered to-go boxes. There's a service light system at the table, but no one ever responded to it. We also inquired about that and Nancy told us that's for the servers. I feel as though since it wasn't busy when we arrived we had a bartender wait on us but once servers arrived for their shift we should have been transferred over to them to receive better service. The food was also a letdown. The nachos used cheese sauce instead of shredded cheese like the other location, which was disappointing. The menu itself has multiple typos and spelling errors and clearly needs to be reviewed. While there are many beers on tap, there is no beer menu available--not even a digital one. We asked and were told there wasn't one, so I had to get up from my seat to see what was available. A $16 brisket quesadilla was the smallest I've ever seen for that price, and the cheese wasn't even fully melted. The wings were decent but completely drenched in sauce. Truffle fries were decent. After paying our bill, we waited over 30 minutes for an added to-go order while staff walked by without acknowledging us as we sat with empty drinks. When we asked for a manager, the server who passed by didn't know who that was. We eventually had to ask for the bartender, who was understandably busy once the bar filled up. After another 10 minutes, I went to the bar myself to ask about the to-go order. While some food was comped without us asking, it didn't make up for the overall experience. What stood out most was the lack of teamwork--servers passed by without acknowledging us, and it didn't feel like anyone was responsible for the guest experience. With better training, clearer systems, and improved food quality, this place could be great. Right now, it needs significant improvement to meet basic service expectations. read more

I stopped in here the other day to pick up some food to go. I ordered the chicken and pesto flatbread. When I got home I opened the box and the flatbread appeared to be over cooked. The edges were burnt. But despite the look of it I took a bite. That one bite confirmed that the flatbread was over cooked. But I thought I'll take a bite of a middle piece. I was not surprised when I got more of the same. Now, this was not my first bad meal. My problem is with the cook. The cook knew when he sent this flatbread out of the kitchen that it was not edible. The edges were burnt, the chicken was dry as jerkey and the pesto was like paste. I would have liked to be able to eat what I paid for. Not an unreasonable ask! To the cook: take some pride in your craft, even if it is only a sports bar. You knew when you sent the food out that it was over cook/burnt. read more

The first time we went for OU/Texas game it was awesome! Awesome service and TVs. Today we went back to watch the OU Ole Miss game with several people and UFC was on every TV with sound at 11:00 am. The bar tender said he had OU game on 1 small TV. There was no one in there watching. We asked to go upstairs like last time because it is super nice with a large group. He told us it was closed. He said it wouldn't be open till later. We walked out. Don't understand why an empty sports bar wouldn't turn on college football or accommodate 8 people. read more

I arrived at opening on Week 9 of college football and all 13 screens are tuned to UFC? I easily got one tv turned to the Ole Miss / OU game but my request to get the sound turned on was denied. "Schedule says focus on UFC" bartender said. Ok. Others began to wander in, yet wanted IU / UCLA. They got a TV. More in for my game. Finally, someone put the football games on pushing the UFC undercard fights to the side. Get it together GOAT! Burger not bad. Beer pretty cold. The food here is not good. It is not even on par with a normal sports bar. The drink prices here vary, it seems by which server or bartender you have. Ownership misrepresents themselves.
