The End Zone is your average sports bar, multiple tv's around the restaurant and the bar is good size with a huge patio ( this is a full on smoking patio). The food that I have tried is average bar food and it's not great but not bad. Issue#1 -It was so dark in the restaurant that I had to use my phone to see the menu, I asked for lights over us to be turned on and the waitress stated they are not allowed to per district manager orders. Issue#2 Also the bar music is played over a jukebox that is pay as you go. This can be good and bad, the night I was there was definitely bad for me as I'm not a big fan of scream metal music. Definitely not a date or nice dinner type of place but if you want to just catch the game and a beer with friends it would be a good place as the have pool tables and shuffle board! But with the lights off this would definitely make this hard. The End Zone is a couple of changes away from 3 stars to 4-5 stars if they make some simple changes. I came here with a group of friends for just a chill Saturday and to do karaoke. The drink special for a Saturday when we came was $4.50 flavored vodkas. I really liked the pineapple vodka I ordered, but I was expecting a strong drink from previous vodka cocktails I have had from other places. The price was right and will definitely order other flavors the next time I am back. The staff was able to accommodate my fruity vodka request. The best part of this experience was the food- so yummy. I am a server and bartender so I knew how annoying it was for me to tab out and ask for another drink. I said those exact words to our server/bartender Mandy. Instead of saying it was ok (bc that's more money) she walked away and rolled her eyes. I counted 3 eye rolls, honestly as a service worker I get it but holy wow do it in the back to a coworker. She was so rude and I don't make reviews unless I'm super upset or super pleased but I will never go back. I FEAR this wonderful place, inviting atmosphere and FABULOUS FOOD is going to change. We have seen the demise of this once great place before our eyes. For example, sports walls are not being updated and staff is unable to get ordered liquors just as an example. HOW UNFORTUNATE!! The STAFF is absolutely INCREDIBLE!! Attentive, welcoming, knowledgeable and focused on customer service!! It is EVIDENT the new management does not care about our community, the staff or the patrons that frequent this establishment. Used to enjoy this place. Went in a couple of days ago for a late lunch (around 230). A server or someone saw me walk in and sit at the bar and continued to stand by the food line on her phone. I waited about ten minutes and finally a bartender came in from outside (starting her shift) and greeted me. Before I could order another bartender (blonde) came out and was complaining about the laundry list of things the closers didn't do. Finally the brunette took my order. The three things I wanted to order were no longer available - despite still being on the online menu. Chips/onion dip, chicken wrap with fries, and a coke (no co2). I asked for a sugar free redbull got a regular one. She said she could have the cook make a chicken wrap. When the food finally came out, like 15 minutes later, I asked for the extra ranch I requested when I placed the order. She disappeared into the back and was gone for ten minutes. When she came out, I asked for my ranch, again, and she was all "oh". Got it for me and went back to the back. The place was empty. I was the only customer and the two bartenders couldn't be bothered to check on me at all, or even stay front of house. She presented the bill when I placed the order, so I tipped her ($8 on $25) before I realized how crappy the service was going to be. The service was terrible. And sadly, the wrap was also crappy. Absolute worst bar ever! I was treated like shit. I went last week and started a tab. They put a $25 hold on my card and then charged me $8 something for my drinks but processed everything. They never dropped the $25 hold. I canceled my card and went on with my life. Well tonight I showed up and they asked me for my card. I nicely told the bartender, no I wasn't going to start a tab because of what happen last time . She said unless I'm paying cash per drink she is busy and doesn't have time for me. I walked out and will NEVER return again. I could have paid per drink with a card but she " didn't have time". Her name was Kelee (or however you spell it) I've never been treated so bad in my life. I've been going to endzone for several years and have never been treated like that. I will never return again. Giving 5 stars due to the service being on point all night. I had a group of six with me and we all felt great for about 7 hours. Food drinks and atmosphere was awesome. We're going to eat at a taco shop next store but it smelt like butt. Idk if it was from the mead in the beer cellar or the home made tortillas, but it was nasty. Never got used to the smell so we ate next store. A true 4 star bar but this spot needs their ratings brought up from my 5 star review. The no free pole makes sense because they could use the money for some upgrades. Bathrooms are okay, but we are living in the 2000s... needs to be updated at the bar too. The seats are very broken in but you know what??? I thought that was awesome and I felt at home. The free darts makes up for the $15 spent quarters. Solid location.
