Pretty tasty food right in downtown. The bulgogi bowl was pretty good. The bulgogi itself was pretty dry but the flavor was like 75% bulgogi which is unique. The real winner here is the tofu sandwich. It has a thick slab of veggie omelet alongside a thinner slab of tofu and plenty of cheese and delicious sweet-ish sauce making for a unique and tasty messy sandwich. The deep fried egg was more of a novelty- just a hard boiled egg with a very light tempura coating. The Korean slaw is just thinly shredded cabbage with a light drizzle of what tasted like a diluted yum yum sauce.

I have been searching for a casual Korean restaurant after my recent trip to Seoul! Gochujang is a new place that serves a variety of street food selections you would typically find in Seoul. The sandwich was my favorite! It comes with a soft fluffy toasted bread, ham, eggs, and mixed cabbage and carrots. Korean egg sandwiches are sweet and nailed with a combination of ketchup, mustard, and sugar! This place as different combos so you get an opportunity to pair with other selections! We got the combo with tteokbokki or spicy rice cakes. The sauce was a little more savory with more onion flavor than what I like. I prefer my tteokbokki sauce to be on the sweeter side. It was still delicious! The rice cakes were super soft and chewy. The restaurant also gave us a miso soup on the side on the house! The soup just warmed my soul. This place is a good addition to the Cleveland Korean food scene! I am looking forward to try the Korean street chicken next time!

Being half Korean, I got a little excited about this new Korean foods spot! Ordered the Black Pasta (Jjangmyeon in Korean) and it was spot on! Also had a side of Danmuji (pickled radish) that paired perfectly with it. My friend ordered the Original Sandwich and she didn't enjoy it much, I took a bite and I felt the same. I'd much rather have Japchae , kimbap or some other Korean dish. We don't need more American type foods downtown. I definitely want to come back to try their fried chicken and Korean corn dog and I'd definitely recommend the "black pasta" Everything was priced fairly and the service was very welcoming and kind Don't sleep on this little Korean spot

My mother and I had a late lunch her before seeing a show at Playhouse. It was one of the few restaurants open before 4:00 on Sunday! The person taking orders was very friendly and helpful! He described the dishes, showed us pictures, and helped us pick items that wouldn't irritate my mom's ulcer. We got the black pasta combo. It came with the pasta, fried chicken and a drink. The portions were very generous. A great way to try Korean food, if you haven't had it before. The atmosphere is pretty casual, and the prices are very reasonable. I would definitely go back.

Korean street chicken, pickled radish, kimchi, house jjajang sauce. So freakin good. And not crazy expensive either.

I have been wanting to eat here for months and I'm glad I finally did. The food was so good and the service was quick and easy. They got a very simple and comfortable dining area for eating, studying, or whatever. This place is great I would highly recommend it. Is it family owned? I'm not sure, but if so I support it even more.

They have about 8 or 9 sandwich options all made to order on a crispy focaccia bread. They also offer my favorite, San Pellegrino Italian sodas and homemade chocolate chip sea salt cookies. They slice the meat for you right there and it was all super fresh. I got the #2 which had salami, prosciutto, and capicola with burrata and pickled hot peppers. The sandwich was good and tasted really fresh. I really enjoyed the burrata. I also did not miss the fact that there was no sauce or spread on it. I'm not a huge fan of crispy or hard bread, so I think I would have loved it even more if there was a soft bread option. I definitely look forward to returning though, maybe they do have another bread option available, I didn't ask. You can also customize the sandwich, so I would have added some arugula. The cookie was incredible!

They just keep placing another brisket on, and the ribbons of beef keep falling. The order counter is tiny, with a line out the door: regulars, tourists like me, and food delivery drivers all waiting their turn. There are meat trimmings everywhere, tubs of pickles, and the sense that the folks behind the counter know exactly what they are doing. The small dining room is packed with people sitting elbow to elbow, gripping massive sandwiches with stadium mustard in the corners of their mouths. It is loud, cramped, messy, and glorious. I've gone to heaven.

I joined the line just before 11 and got inside about 11:50 AM. I'm currently standing in line waiting on my sandwich which is a corned beef melt. I ordered a corned beef melt, which is toasted rye, cornbeef, double Swiss cheese - hot & melted with Kraut on the side and dressing. I got a side of potato pancakes, and also coleslaw. The folks were extremely friendly on the inside, very welcoming and very efficient as they worked to make who knows how many meals. And you'll be glad to know every sandwich comes with a dill pickle, wrapped in its own paper and ready for delicious consumption! The dill is a big deal to me because I like spears, as in the pickle not necessarily (in this case) the pop star! Come early and be ready to wait! The place is really kitchsy and has a great atmosphere. And the folks really make it awesome to be there. It has the feel of a destination restaurant the kind of place that is an experience to visit not just because of the food because of the culture and the people and the phenom that it has become.
