Everything bagel with plain cream cheese
    Yianni S.

Every visit to Bagel Boulevard is like spinning a roulette wheel. Sometimes you hit, and the bagel sandwiches are fresh and flavorful, contending with other Cleveland Juggernauts like Nubiegel or Cle Bagel Co. Sometimes, the staff is extremely attentive, and you will receive your order in a minute or less! But that is only "sometimes." Since I work downtown, I go to Bagel Boulevard about once a week, meaning I've experienced the full spectrum of the bagel roulette. As explained above, I have had truly great food and great service there. Shockingly often, however, both can be outright terrible--I've seen lines of people while the staff are sitting around and talking behind the counter (based on other Yelp reviews, it seems other people have had similar experiences!) The bagel preparation is also inconsistent--look at my attached photo of an everything bagel with an inedible rectangular block of frozen cream cheese placed in the middle. Just like other forms of roulette though, I guess the game of chance is part of the thrill. And the potential upside is enough to at least balance out the potential lows.

We stopped in for a little bite to eat to start our day. My friend and I both got the hipster bagel with extra hard boiled egg. The sandwich advertised was smashed avocado, hard boiled egg and pickled onion. I had one without the onion. It was tasty enough but I don't think the avocado is fresh, I'm pretty sure it's from a container (like wholly avocado or something similar). I prefer fresh avocado. The bagel was ok and I left with a full tummy. The coffee and decaf were pretty ok. We didn't go back on this trip but for a quick bite it would probably be ok.

One of the best bagels I've had in a while. I ordered the Forest City Free Bird . The service was fast and friendly staff. The shop is really cute located in the heart of downtown Cleveland in the Huntington Convention center. I will be back

Stopped by Bagel Boulevard because it's conveniently located near the convention center. The self-serve ordering stations were easy to use, which was a nice touch, but that's about it. It was busy, but the wait felt really long, and the overall vibe inside was loud. I did enjoy the playlist, though. It gave the place a little character. The bagels themselves were just okay. Nothing special. What really bugged me was how all the ingredients were dumped in the center instead of being evenly spread. Every bite was either overloaded or plain. They also didn't have utensils to help with spreading it. Between the slow service and the underwhelming food, it was a pretty "meh" experience. Convenient spot if you're nearby, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

Everything bagel with fried egg and homemade smear! Mmmm

Absolutely delicious!! A hidden gem in the convention center for sure. Open and beautiful atmosphere with pretty cool Cleveland decor. The ordering was easy, staff was serving up mouth watering bagel combos with smiles :) Can't wait to return next time I'm downtown!

Great bagels and an even better price.. super easy ordering system, quick and very friendly! Ordered the Egg Breakfast sandwich which is recommended on sun-dried tomato basil bagel with egg and gruyere cheese and Boursin schmear. So delicious and affordable for a breakfast on the go!

Friendly staff! Super clean. Not sure when this place opened but it was sometime in 2024. Entrance on St. Clair Ave and from inside the Convention Center. No cash, but easy ordering from the Kiosk. Great coffee alternative to Starbucks next door.

Best bagel i ever did eat

Here I am slinging the paints making a sweet Cleveland themed mural in Bagel Boulevard.

The bagels were ok, the coffee was barely drinkable and $5 for a Coke and $8 for a bottle of water is criminal.

They have about 8 or 9 sandwich options all made to order on a crispy focaccia bread. They also offer my favorite, San Pellegrino Italian sodas and homemade chocolate chip sea salt cookies. They slice the meat for you right there and it was all super fresh. I got the #2 which had salami, prosciutto, and capicola with burrata and pickled hot peppers. The sandwich was good and tasted really fresh. I really enjoyed the burrata. I also did not miss the fact that there was no sauce or spread on it. I'm not a huge fan of crispy or hard bread, so I think I would have loved it even more if there was a soft bread option. I definitely look forward to returning though, maybe they do have another bread option available, I didn't ask. You can also customize the sandwich, so I would have added some arugula. The cookie was incredible!

I ordered a corned beef melt, which is toasted rye, cornbeef, double Swiss cheese - hot & melted with Kraut on the side and dressing. I got a side of potato pancakes, and also coleslaw. The folks were extremely friendly on the inside, very welcoming and very efficient as they worked to make who knows how many meals. And you'll be glad to know every sandwich comes with a dill pickle, wrapped in its own paper and ready for delicious consumption! The dill is a big deal to me because I like spears, as in the pickle not necessarily (in this case) the pop star! Come early and be ready to wait! The place is really kitchsy and has a great atmosphere. And the folks really make it awesome to be there. It has the feel of a destination restaurant the kind of place that is an experience to visit not just because of the food because of the culture and the people and the phenom that it has become.

The fennel perfectly cut through the richness of the asparagus. Add to this one of the best potato salads I've ever had and it would've been enough. Until Jeremy came over to the table with some fresh pastrami to taste. I don't know where the best pastrami in America is, but whatever it is it's unlikely to be better than this. The best sandwich they make, in my opinion, is the fresh & fried tomato sandwich. I watch their Instagram posts like a hawk in August when I know the local tomato crop should be coming in, and then I try to go at least twice while it's on the menu. Sitting outside on a sunny day with fried tomato juice dripping down your chin is a version of my heaven. Don't sleep on the rest of the menu, though, where the pickle selection, house-made sodas and egg creams, and baked goods almost out shine the mains.

The entire meal was spent watching the employees roll utensils and people waiting for the bathrooms (which were covered in... sticky... substances). After ordering, and waiting an hour for the food to come (the appetizers we ordered were not brought out in that wait, nor did we see our server the entire time) the food was overcooked to the point my burger physically hurt to hold since it was rock hard and cutting into my palm.
