This place was a complete dissapointment. The pizza was just ok, a little greasy. I ordered my pizza at 4:55 for delivery at 6:00 PM. At 6:30 no pizza came, despite my receipt showing a delivery charge of $6+ plus a $5 dollar tip. When I called to ask when it would be arriving, I was told they do not deliver. To which I replied, I paid for delivery and ordered the pizza from your website. At this point my pizza was sitting there for 30 minutes. Apparently they third party their deliveries. The website should state this fact. If I pay a company, in this case godfathers pizza, they are responsible for the delivery unless otherwise stated in an obvious way. We went round and round and the only way for me to get my pizza, was to drive there myself which defeated the whole point of ordering a pizza to be delivered. The young lady on the phone grunted uhhuh instead of yes or no. I finally had to tell her to use actual words as her grunts were not coming across clearly. What a disaster. I drove over and at this point my pizza was sitting for 45 minutes. If you third party out delivery, and no one shows up to pick it up, why would you not be calling someone, anyone or the customer or anything. When I arrived, three people standing around doing absolutely nothing, I told them I was here to pick up my pizza and I want to talk to a manager. James came out and asked how he could help? I would have thought he would have already known what was going on by this point. He was calm and friendly. I told him I would like to have the delivery fees and tip removed from my check. He offered a fresh pie of I was willing to wait but, I was not as I was ready to eat at 6:00 and it was nearly 7:00. I told him it had been decades since my last visit to godfathers pizza. It will likely be decades before I return. I will not be back here. He ended up removing the entire charge from my credit card. For corporate Godfathers pizza. If you are not going to actually deliver pizza, remove it from your website or have customers order through door dash or grub hub or some other delivery website. At the very least, this is dishonest marketing. Shameful. Your marketing tactics cost this franchisee business owner a bad review and a customer forever. read more

I pick up here for delivery a lot. Godfather's Pizza IS what Pizza Hut used to be, a dimly lit, dark establishment with television, video games, a claw machine, and all the family friendliness that you would expect. Every time I pick up a pizza from here, it makes my car smell amazing! As a matter of fact, they have the hands down best smelling pizza. I may have joked on occasion about how Godfather's needs to market auto air fresheners that smell like their pizza. Maybe I'm not joking. I was looking for a dinner option and had just delivered one of their fine pies, so that scent was fresh on my mind. So I called them from the road and ordered a large pepperoni and added extra cheese, because why not? They placed the order and told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. Perfect. The staff is ALWAYS professional, courteous, and hard working, but most importantly, they always seem to be having a good time. It's easily one of my favorite pickup locations. But this was the first time I was picking up for myself. I got the pizza home and took this single photo, and it was pretty darn good! The extra cheese was the icing on the cake! The crust was perfectly browned and crispy, the pepperoni was seasoned well, but not overly spicy. I will definitely be trying other items on their menu soon! read more

We had a Godfather's Pizza in Jacksonville when I was in high school and we would go there every Friday night after football game. Brings back memories.... So normally I like Godfather's but this whole experience was a a huge disappointment and there was no action on the part of the store to overcome the negative experience. First, the website offers a special that can not be completed because although listed as a side, the wings are not considered a side. The website should be corrected. Second, because wings are not considered a side, you're only left with other starchy and sugary sides to choose from and if you just order the pizza, it ends being the same price as the special price. So you get less for the same price. Lastly, I go to pay in cash and there is not enough change in an entire store to make change for a $100. With the total being almost $30.00 ultimately they are saying they don't have $70.00 in the entire store. It was 4 pm on a Thursday. That makes no sense. It's not like it was 11 am and they just opened with no transactions yet. No need to come back. read more

Placed a delivery order a little over an hour before close estimated arrival was 8:46 it is now 9:52 and I have yet to receive my order. I called the store 3 times before having my call answered and was told they were waiting on "door dash" to deliver my order because they didn't have any drivers. I was also informed that she could not give me an estimated time on my food. This called placed around 8:50. I have not been contacted by Godfather's and I still did not receive my VERY expensive delivery order. I also tipped for the delivery. I will NOT be using this location anymore and I was left to have to go and grab food spending extra money. 10/10 don't recommend, I don't care how good the pizza is the service is horrible and I will be requesting a FULL refund including tip. I only gave 1 star because I had to 0/10 is my honest opinion. read more

Its you are familiar with Godfathers, at least from my POV being a New Orleanian, this location is just like the ones that we used to have. Its not the boutique pizza places that dot the landscape nowadays, its a older almost retro pizza parlour that has stayed in its time bubble. The pizza is identical to what I remembered in Nola. The building kinda of the same as well. That keg of beer sticking out the wall with the tap handles, salad bar, a few random arcade games and self serve drinks are all there. Pre covid days there was a buffet and salad bar in operation at lunch. Not no more :-( My go to is a small Humble Pie on OG crust hold the onions. I don't like my truck to smell of food because I almost always stop here going to or from Pensacola for work so I have to eliminate them yummy onions. In my opinion actually the pizza is awesome. Godfather's is my FAVORITE pizza. There is always the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. You can taste levels of flavor when you bite into a fresh baked slice. I love this place because the pizza is so savory, and the toppings are very fresh. They fill the pizza up with toppings. There are so many options for the crust and the toppings. I always get the original crust, but they have thin crust and stuffed crust. I feel like thin crust wouldn't be able to hold up against all of the toppings they put on their slices. Even though the store front isn't modern, I'd definitely suggest checking out their lunch buffet. They put out 7-8 different pizzas, cheese bread, and desserts. Havent been here in awhile but it appears to me that they have done some cosmetic work on the exterior. I'm giving 0 stars for the reason I ordered Godfathers for my son an I tonight .... We went thru door dash an jus like I knew anytime u leave it up to someone else to be responsible for ur food naturally they cannot EVER seen to get it right. the cheese is a little overwhelming so the toppings become a little flavorless. its very greasy. the salad bar tastes a day old. the pizza is so cheesy VERY HOT like it just came out the oven so you might burn your mouth, drinks are super flavored not watered down, crust is risen, staff are super kind. theres these events at a nearby school here and its always nice to talk to the kids and teachers. the vending machine with the toys is always fun! read more

Try to hit the night time buffet at least once per month. The selection of Pizzas is excellent and they will make any pizza you want for the buffet. We have called while we are on the way and the pizza we requested is on the buffet when we arrive. They have several side items including a large salad bar. Seriously thought this chain went by the wayside years and years ago. First road trip in eons through the South revealed it was still in existence. Staying at a nearby hotel, we had little options for carry out. Took a gamble and ordered a pie for pickup from Godfather's. We ordered thin, which came on a cracker crust similar to Pizza Hut's, which in my mind is awful. But somehow their version wasn't so bad. Worst experience. Called for delivery, quoted 45 min after waiting an hour and a half I called and it was going to magically be the next delivery. Get it delivered and it's wrong. Called back they want to give me a credit for next time. Bad experience. As soon as I walked in. The two ladies upfront had issues with each other. There was smile, or welcome. Just a quick 9.99 for the buffet. Then they didn't have any ranch at the salad bar. Normally I would ask for more ranch. However from the scowl on the woman's face, I did not. Another thing was the pizza. It was under the hot lamps of the buffet table for who knows how long. It tasted like cardboard. What can I do though. I went there because of the name, and because of the reviews.
