It had been a while since we ordered from here, but on Valentines night when other pizza joints in the Dawes area were quoting wait times of up to two hours, we happily ordered after being told it would only be 20-25 minutes. Nothing fancy, we just got a thin crust pepperoni and some cheesy bread. Both were hot and delicious. Also, it was ready at the drive-thru within the 20-25 minute promised time frame. Ordered here today, absolutely terrible food, the Pizzola had very little meat and it took over an hour to get our food although the app states 35 minutes, I called after an hour to ask about my order and the guy stated I was next in line and it should be less than 5 minutes, and it took another 15-20 minutes before the food arrived. I got the Philly Cheese Steak Bowl, and he got the Meat Lovers Bowl. We picked it up at the Dawes Rd store. It comes in a big black container inside a cardboard pizza type container. There is no lid on the black container. I was disappointed in the amount of Philly Cheese Steak, but not the taste. The black container is deep, and the amount of food took up 1/4" of the space. Because there is no sauce on Philly Cheese Steak, the cheese stuck to the bottom of the black plastic container. His Meat Lover's was pretty close to 1/2 sauce and 1/2 meat. But he liked the sauce, so no complaint. The service was good and fast. There is no ambiance as the store is pickup or delivery only. read more

So I've been going to this Marco's for 7 years. Customer service was great. Even if there were issues, they were resolved quickly. Well, I guess they may be under new management. I ordered a pizza on a Saturday night. It had the incorrect ingredients and has so much cheese on the pizza the bottom of the entire box was covered with grease. So much so it started to drip from my hand when I was carrying it. UNREAL! But wanted to resolve the issue I called the next day to see if I could get a replacement pizza. The young lady I spoke with told me she had to get the General Managers permission to redo I pizza. First time I've ever heard that from a pizza place, but she doesn't control the policies so I didn't argue with her. She gathered my contact info and told me she'd give it to the GM the next day. I didn't hear anything so I called back. Then I spoke with another lady that said the GM wasn't there. She had an attitude and told me that I need to call the GM during his work ours. Again, I politely took that and asked when he was in the office. I called again the next day, Tuesday, for the GM. Spoke with a gentleman who apologized and told me the GM stepped out. He asked for my info again. I let him know I did that twice already. The gentleman informed me that the other ladies might now have been telling the truth. Upset I said ok, I'll call again tomorrow. I called today, Wednesday, and he was off. This is ridiculous for a simple pizza that I paid for, still have in my fridge just in case they needed proof, and was not what I ordered. Yesterday we went on memorial Day to this location on Pomp's ferry and the manager our owner was in Marco's working by his self. I ordered an extra large Frisco Pizza and he insulted me by telling me I had to get my dog out of the store and not bringing back because he had hair. Well we have hair on our heads too and I found hair in my food at this location before. Yes my dog has hair he's a service dog and I'm a veteran and you don't treat veterans that way especially on veterans Day that's a slap in the face. So I just did what he told me to do while he was cooking my pizza I walked right out the door with the Pizza Hut where they treat me very nice and I will not be back doing business at Marco's again. Had food delivered. None of the pizzas were cut all the way through. They didn't deliver all my items and did not issue a refund for the missing items. The food was good, just annoying to have to cut every slice of pizza and not get refunded for missing items. Horrible experience! Horrible customer service. I order from them and my food was left outside . I'm not sure how long it was out there, I only knew when my husband came home . The delivery driver didn't ring the door bell. I know I didn't miss it because my Alexa device announces when someone is at the door . I can say ever since management and the team in this establishment has changed. There may have been a few mistakes here and there, but they definitely made sure to take care of me as a customer. Their staff is very friendly. I tend to see that they have a mixture of adults and teenagers, and I've never seen more hard-working teenagers, I definitely would say Marcos pizza is definitely like no other pizza and I don't even eat Papa John's or anywhere else since I found Marco's. I have also been to other locations, but cottage Hill seems to have a better team, more friendly and more timely manner that my food comes out hot. read more

Today I ordered the 12" cheese steak sub with double meat and cheese,!when I opened my sandwich it was burnt to a crisp, meat, cheese and bread. I tried to eat it but it was just to burnt. $ 21.00 I call and spoke to Dean the manager and he told me that he actually made the sandwich and that's how they do a well done sub, no apology or offer to a do over, Nothing ! I love Marco's Pizza, but from the pizzeria in Panama City Beach. I have ordered two times from the Dawes location and both of the orders didn't come out right. The only difference was I asked for white sauce instead of pizza sauce. The first time I have ordered, the pizza came burnt and very dried. This second time the pizza came without sauce and no cheese. It is sad that I have to choose another location to order my pizza because I really like the people that work there, they are very empathetic , very nice people but the order always comes out wrong. My family and I ordered a couple of pizzas for delivery around 8:00pm on a Friday. We were told it would be about 40 minutes until it was delivered. Sounds good. It's a Friday night and we understood they were busy. Well, 45 minutes go by and we get a call from Marco's. We were told they couldn't make our pizzas because they ran out of cheese. WHAT?! You ran out of cheese and it took you 45 minutes to let us know? Then, the guy on the phone asked if we wanted a refund. Yes, yes we do. You were supposed to be at our house 5 minutes before you called us to say they hadn't even been started because the restaurant ran out of cheese. Very poorly handled. We order from them occasionally (they're right down the street). They never have the order when promised but once we get it, it's usually good. Called in our order today and they have NO ITALIAN SAUSAGE. The only Italian meat they serve and the are out until sometime next week??? They had might as well close up and try again in 2023.
