While traveling on business, I stopped in for lunch with a coworker. We spotted the menu on the wall at our workplace. On walking in, we were greeted by the dirtiest floors I've ever seen in a restaurant. Dirt and leaves were in all of the corners. The floors and sink in the restroom were filthy. The place was clearly not big on ambience in the first place, but it didn't help that the man running the register spent almost all of his time watching loud videos on his phone. The food was unspecial. My spicy bourbon chicken was spicy to the point of being inedible. I went for an ice cream cone elsewhere after. Put down your phone and take some pride in your workplace. So I tried something new I'm new to the area. I ordered beef and broccoli, egg drop soup and an egg roll. Food was awful. It was just something off about everything. The beef is not real beef. I'm not sure what was inside of the egg roll but it was not the proper color. The soup was VERY thick and they didn't provide any crunchy cookies for the soup. If I tried it again I'd definitely do some basic chicken or shrimp. The rice was the best part. I wish I took pictures but I was so upset I just threw it all out. I love Chinese food, but unfortunately I was very disappointed in this place and the quality of their food. I ordered a big order for my girlfriend and I. Almost 40$ worth of food.. just to get home and eat out meals and by 1am my girlfriend and I are both jumping up rushing to get to the bathroom so we both can throw up. We thought maybe we ate too much or too fast etc.. but we realized as the day went by that we both still felt horrible !! We went to our nearest doctors clinic and we were told we had food poisoning due to our food being uncooked & us not realizing it. We called instantly and spoke to someone on the phone and he denied giving us uncooked food.. and denied to give us a refund! This place is so confusing. It has a large variety of food & drinks to order, and once you go into the restaurant it's all laid out in containers behind glass. It seems like mall food for takeout, but I'd rather go to the mall than eat here again! Steer clear of this place if you value your stomach. Ordered via delivery service and most of my order was wrong. I ordered fried rice was missing shrimp, egg and Scallions ( which they charged me extra for). They also have me the smallest shrimp egg rolls I have ever seen. It's like the cut the egg roll wrappers into two. These egg rolls were small, smaller than the palm of my hand. I called the restaurant back, they admit it was their mistake and they agreed to refund me back for those items. They did not do so. I gave it a week so see anything from the restaurant back onto my card. Just go somewhere else. Nothing is cooked to order; all food is pre-cooked and you select which you want, cafeteria style. Go'Dragon Asian Grill is comparable to Chinese eateries that I have seen in airports. As I faced the assortment of foods to select from, the gal behind the counter gave me a sample of Bourbon Chicken. Ugh. Too sweet for my taste. She put several spoonfuls of fried rice into a clamshell, then told me I get to select 2 meats. I chose Kung Pao chicken and chicken tofu. The Kung Pao chicken was pretty good; the Tofu Chicken seemed like fake meat. I also ordered an Egg Roll; it was very good. I'll be back to try a few more things, such as Mochi Ice Cream. This is by far the worst sushi and Chinese restaurant food I have eaten. The sushi was BARELY there. I have gotten better sushi at buffets and grocery stores. My husband got the bourbon chicken/Hawaiian chicken and fried rice. He said there was absolutely no sauce and no flavor to the chicken. The dumplings were just inedible. They were cold in the middle and had no flavor whatsoever. My son's chicken and broccoli was actually the only half way decent thing in our whole order. We stopped in because we saw all of the signs in the plaza for the grand opening and saw the good reviews here. The space is really cute and colorful! It was very clean and the menu has a good variety. I did notice a lot of the pans on the steam table were empty though. There was a steady stream of people the whole time we were there. The service was prompt and very friendly. The woman working explained the menu a bit and was incredibly helpful. We ordered 1 crab Rangoon, 1 order of General Tso's shrimp, 2 green tea mochi ice cream, and 2 drinks. It was fairly expensive for what we got. With tip, it was $35. The lo mein that came with the shrimp didn't have a lot of flavor and the shrimp sauce was pretty good. The breading on the shrimp wasn't cooked all the way, so it was kind of soggy and like paste around the shrimp. Luckily, the shrimp was fully cooked. The crab Rangoon was good, but no better than most other places. Mochi ice cream is usually my favorite, but it was weird here. It wasn't a soft exterior like most I've tried. It was very thick and hard. I'm trying to think of a better description, but it was kind of like hard playdough. I know they didn't make it in house, but maybe they should try to find a different supplier? I know new businesses have to find their footing, so I'll potentially come back to try it again! read more

This is just like a mall food court Chinese restaurant. They serve everything in a to go container, you get a choice of rice, noodle or veg. then up to three meats. The bourbon chicken was really good as well as the black pepper chicken. The kung pow had been sitting under the heat lamp for to long and had turned to mush. Food was good for fast casual Chinese takeout. Got vegetable egg role, crab rangoon, entree with 1 side and 2 entrees both chicken. I was charged $24+ change. I asked for a receipt. The receipt wasn't itemized. I questioned the charges because the menu said the egg role was $1.99, the crab rangoon was $5.99, the entree was $8.99. Total should have been $16.97 plus tax. VA sales tax is 5.3%. With sales tax my total should have been $17.87. Richmond may have an additional dining tax I don't know about. The cashier/ owner said the register prices have increased but the menu prices have not increased. She refunded me some of the difference as I was over charged an additional $7.00 which to me is a lot of money. I still tipped even though it was take out. I checked the prices on their website and prices only went up by $1.00 on a couple of the items which still doesn't account for the $7.00 additional I was charged. Watch your bill when you visit so you don't get overcharged. If the prices online jived with the reason she told me I wouldn't have left a negative review however their online prices didn't account for what she charged me extra and I don't appreciate being taken advantage of. read more

They are located in the shopping center where Planet Fitness is. So I visited this location twice since they've opened. The inside is very bright and colorful. There's plenty of seating to relax and enjoy your food. The staff is very friendly and willing to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I think the prices are reasonably (typical mall food court prices). The offer a huge variety of entrees and sides. On my initial visit, I stayed with my normal bourbon chicken with fried rice. Today, I decided to try the seaweed salad. It was really good. I would definitely get it again. My son tried the fried chicken and fries. He said they were good. I would recommend you ask for additional sauce for your entrees. They have steam pans set up so that you can choose what you want or you can order other items such as chciken and fries which are cooked to order. It may be a little wait but not long. On the first visit, they gave us free samples of the smoothies which were really good, I just prefer to make my own. If you ask I'm sure they will give you a sample before you purchase anything. Looked this restaurant up on Yelp while driving to our hotel near Richmond airport. We were craving Asian food. The menu sounded great and the website pictures of the food looked fantastic. The restaurant was not what we expected when we arrived . While you can eat there, it's really more of a take-out restaurant. It is in a strip mall near a shopping center , but it appeared clean and staff was very courteous. We decided to place an order to go. We were hungry and ordered two entrees, soup and appetizers to take back to our room so we had a variety of menu items. Everything we ordered tasted terrible, even the plain white rice. We ended up eating some of our soup, and threw the rest away.... all of it!!! I'm not one to post negative reviews , as I always try to be positive, but the food was so bad! This was my first time going to Go Dragon, and I should have listen to my instincts, which was to leave when I saw the food in the trays. I ordered sushi, shrimp general tso, orange chicken shrimp lomein, and fried rice. The ginger on the sushi wasn't fresh. Everything tasted greasy old, and unseasoned. There was not enough sauce on my food and too much batter on the shrimp. The vegetables were not fresh. I feel that when certain restaurants come into a certain areas (black neighborhood) the quality of the food can be very low. The protein smoothies are made with fruit and a great source of protein of your choice and it is to die for ( meaning It's a must try because it's delicious). This restaurant is the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever been to in my life. If I could give it zero stars, I would. The wait staff were horrendously rude (especially the cashier), a receipt was not given when the order was placed, and the cashier constantly allowed other customers to cut in front of me while I was placing my order. She was actually recording herself on social media on the phone with customers lined up to the door! The food was not what I had ordered, half the food was given while the other food was being cooked making half of my order ice cold, and the food was subpar at best. The meal was also overpriced, and the prices of items ordered could not be checked because of the lack of a receipt. The wasabi was completely processed mush and the pickled ginger tasted like disinfectant. With the cases of food poisoning and food illnesses, please do not order anything fresh here.
