My kids and I went here for a quesadilla & a few smoothies. It is settled in a super busy shopping center parking lot next to Bath & Body Works. The drivers here are horrible, so be cautious. I saw at least 2 people almost get hit. Anyway, the service here was great. We ordered online & went inside where they called out our orders. The staff was very friendly even on the busiest of days. We felt like we were there only customers - not just a number. The store was clean & they were strictly following Covid guidelines. I appreciated that. read more

Smoothies are made entirely way too sweet! After numerous complaints and even telling them light or no sugar they still dump tons of sugar into your smoothie! Very bad for health and bad for business! I will not be retuning to this location! None of what you say with your order is taken into consideration! Any add-on are not added thought you pay for them! It's not too different than any other tropical smoothie cafe but that's fine by me. i usually get a supergreen ceasar wrap and a detox island smoothie (i love ginger as an ingredient, so uniquely tasty!!). as always, pretty happy and satisfied with my order -- i always order ahead so i can't speak for the wait, but i got it on time and correct, the staff was super friendly and quick on getting my order to me :) read more

I frequent tropical smoothie locations a lot. I just moved to this area and was treated horribly by the employee who apparently was racist because she was all friendly to people of her color and taking their orders but when I walked in right after them and 30 minutes prior to closing I was told they were CLOSED and I would have to leave. The next day I went in and I think she intentionally took her fingernail to the bottom of the cup and perforated it . I was nothing but friendly to her so I can only assume she dislikes people who arent like herself in reference to skin color. Very sad for all humans to be like that because we are all equal and just spirits having a human experience. I will not be going to this establishment anymore. Too bad because I spend a lot of money there so I am sure the owner would want to know they have an employee who closes before they are supposed to and treats certain customers poorly for no reason. I had even called earlier in the day to see if they were open and they said until 6pm. When I went to the parking lot a half hour before 6, there were other customers going into the store who were waited on. I walk in after them and am told no, they are closed. After ordering my smoothie I wanted to buy 2-$20 gift cards to which they replied that they only accept cash. So you'll take a credit card for $5.17 but when I try to up my order you tell me no because I don't have cash on me? What kinda business turns down $40 in sales? Kinda weird. I frequent this tropical smoothie, and at this point, I don't know why. I feel like every time I visit, something is wrong with the product that I receive. Last time I was told that the additional smoothie was extra (even though we add whey protein and pay extra for the protein). This time, after saying no sugar, the cashier took it upon herself to add Splenda to my boyfriend's smoothie. Splenda is absolutely one of those artificial sweeteners that you can taste when it's in your food. I hate that I'm leaving another negative review (I left one on Facebook about a month ago), but I keep wanting to believe that they'll improve. Are these reviews not being read? Is management just not concerned with the lack in consistency and good service? At this point, I've given up. I never get sick of going to tropical smoothie..,on this date I checked in... And ordered a paradise point smoothie. I always get so tongue tied at the register.. Its overwhelming picking a flavor when there are so many good ones! But I went with an old fav Paradise point... I was hungry and noticed a new advertisement for fish and chicken tacos.. So I tried one... I wasnt too happy with it.. Ordered the chicken one... It tasted good but it was so drippy and small it took away from the taste. The tortilla its in is so flimsy and the sauce and meat is dripping and falling out both sides, it was hard to enjoy it. And its so small, if your hungry you need to order a couple. Went into there store to get 2 waters with my friend who has a service dog, we were told dogs were allowed in there but we said it was a service dog and the lady said it was fine, then a man came out from the kitchen telling us the service dog wasnt allowed in there. He proceeded to tell us how his wife bought a service dog vest off of amazon and made several remarks about how he wasnt a real service dog and that we couldnt have him in there, we got our water and left, super disgusting behavior and super negative experience read more

Everyone was very nice until the manager or some guy came out and told me I can't have my service dog with me because it's a restaurant so I continued to tell him that ADA law says I can I am disabled and I need my dog he then goes to tell me that his wife went in Amazon got a service dog vest so she can take her dog everywhere but that is illegal to do also he asks me why I need him which is very disrespectful I just would like him to get talked to and educated of what the law actually is because I feel so disrespected because I may not look disabled but I'm not going to give him my medical history and I really hope this never happens to someone else especially from him read more

I have been to TSC 4 times this week and the young adults there gave me amazing service! However, today I go in and place my order with the same broken card I've used all week and(323 Mark P) says I'm sorry I can't take your card like this and I explain I've been in the store all week and the young adults here didn't find an issue with my broken card. I gave him my ID also and he then proceeds to tell me " That the young folk at TSC White Oak VA060 don't know any better." For taken my order with my broken card. And that I wouldn't be able to use my card there again until I have a new one I was looking at this man (323Mark P) like you could learn from the teen employees here; they were far more professional and kind! The service here is absolutely atrocious. I ordered online, drove 20 minutes to get there and picked up a few entrees as well as 5 smoothies. I didn't realize until I got all the way back to work that one of the flatbreads I ordered was missing (my fault, I should have checked the bag before I left). So I call them to let them know a flatbread that I paid for was missing. Someone gets on the phone with me after placing me on hold and says, "you didn't order a flatbread." Only, I surely did and had my online receipt stating that I ordered it and paid for it. So they say that they'll make a new one when I drive all the way back to pick it up. So, I drive another 20 minutes there to wait for SIXTEEN MINUTES for them to make the flatbread. When the girl comes back to hand me the bag, she says NOTHING. Not a "hey, sorry you had to come all the way back here", or, "sorry we missed it the first time around!" ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. The smoothies are good, but nothing there is good enough to go back to this place. If you don't want to work in the customer service industry, THEN DON'T. I am over the moon about the new Detox Island Green! It has a tasty mix and twist on a detox juice I make at home with my extraction juicer. I added cucumber so it's a bit more like what I make at home except this time I'll get the added benefit of ingesting the entire fruit or veggie. I even add some ginger into my juce at home which can tend to add WAY too MUCH kick in the patoot if you don't add it just right, but we'll see how it all falls out when I taste their concoction! read more
