After tip, my ginger latte cost $10 and was served in a to go cup despite saying we were sticking around. It seemed like this was the case for many others in the shop as well. Something about a $10 latte in a to go cup loses its charm and the overall communal vibe of sticking around. It's such a great location and the drinks are fabulous. I'm a big believer that the staff are key to the coffee shop experience and why I spend on going out vs making my own at home. I'm hopeful that the warmth can return here

Despite how busy/packed it was, it was still very fun to have the event to browse while sipping on a coffee. I also loved the booth diversity- a fresh flower booth to make bouquets, cookies, permanent jewelry, antiques, vintage jewelry, a few clothing booths, custom press on nails, candles, a mini bookstore outside, and a pet bandana shop outside as well. For coffee, I ordered The Eddie (sea salt caramel macchiato) and my husband ordered The Milk & Homey (cinnamon + honey). The Eddie was definitely sweeter than The Milk & Honey, but both were very tasty! They had a super cute "whimsy bar" set up at the pickup side of the counter to bedazzle your coffee. This was my first time there, so I'm not sure if this was just for the event or not. We also each ordered a turkey caprese sandwich with a side of kettle chips, but they were a little disappointing. They also own another coffee shop that I really liked which was the mocha nut, but now they are both under the name Anecdote. The inside had a chillaxed vibe, with comfy seating. The decor reminded me of the mocha nut as they had some of the same wall art. I was undecided of what to order, so I asked Clint for recommendations. He told me of some seasonal drinks and that always peaks my interest. I went for the Red velvet latte with almond milk and it was delicious. I got it hot and really enjoyed it, I'm sure it would be just as tasty cold. I chilled inside while sipping on my latte, sat with my thoughts to prep my day.
