Well -- they are definitely earned. Enter the owner, Noah. He walked me through the easy set up process (could have done easily myself but was close-minded to it at the time) and I was good to go! First delivery (which was last minute at a very late hour) went perfectly. Just placed my second one today. This company is a lifesaver. We were referred to GoferIt a few years ago as a low cost solution to the expensive messenger services in Los Angeles. Not only are they INSANELY cheap, the quality of customer service blows far more expensive services out of the water. My husband and I run a production company, and it's small. We have to shuttle hard drives all over the place sometimes and we can't be paying 100 bucks a pop. Most of the time it's 15 bucks or so to get a little hard drive from our offices in Venice all the way to Hollywood. And now they are available until midnight / after hours for an extra (still small) fee - which just made my life much easier about an hour ago. I have referred them to literally everyone I know. The night before, at 8pm, Noah the owner sat on the phone with me as he in real time fixed a glitch on the website so my order could go through. I came across Gofer It! one day when my Boss needed a local courier. I had used same day services with FedEx in the recent past and I was overwhelmed by the cost. For this delivery I really didn't need FedEx, it was only going to the South Bay from West Hollywood. I even contemplated just calling a friend but that was going to get to tedious. I immediately searched Yelp; I do that for a lot of services that our business needs. My boss is very particular so I'll only consider the 5 star reviews. During my courier search Gofer It! popped right off the screen. I read a few reviews and thought- these folks must of gotten some cash for writing such awesome reviews. I've learned it isn't the case, the reward a customer gets from Gofer It! is only awesome, friendly, fast, communicative, quick, trustworthy, stress-free, reliable service. That is all :) I did have issues with their website only because of my own inadequacies of not remembering a password or not seeing something that was there or a special need- I called their phone number (many times now) and have always gotten very helpful service. I've had the pleasure of talking to and working with Noah. I've had sensitive deliveries with clients and employees but Gofer It! makes my stress of the situation be put to ease. Thank you Gofer It! I won't be using them again. I ordered a pick up at 10:30 this morning, paying more for the "RUSH" option meaning the job was to be completed within 4 hours. I used their service because they had good yelp reviews, and their instant quote was about half what I typically pay for courier services. 2 hours after I place my order I received an e-mail that they were experiencing really high work volume, and their services were delayed, and to notify them if there were time constraints to the pick up and delivery. If there were not time constraints to the pick up and delivery of these items I wouldn't be using a courier service in the first place, I would drop it off at my own personal leisure. I contacted them and explained that the pick up location was closing at 4:00, and the location for delivery is closing at 5:00. Someone from their office did call me back to discuss to see if there was an alternative pick up or delivery location. This really was not an option, especially considering the fact that it was well past the original 4-hour window I originally asked for in my order. I gave them two stars instead of one because the person who I spoke with was nice and did refund my charge. However, I will not be using them again. Do not advertise a service if you cannot deliver it, especially if you are a delivery service. I had to hire a different driver and ended up paying twice what I usually do because I had to order it at the last minute. read more

The positive reviews are all true. I made the mistake of using OTMS even though it had good reviews as well but was not satisfied with the service at all. No phone call or confirmation email a promised. I actually had to call them for status only to find out it was delivered a couple hours before I contacted them! Ummm..yeah...thanks for letting me know...so LONG other courier company. I'm so glad I found GOFER-IT. Kari was very professional and smart which is a big plus when dealing with sensitive documents and providing information over the phone. The last thing I want to have to do when I'm in a rush is to REPEAT my information 2-3 times because somebody (I don't know who!) on the other end of the line cannot spell. Not with GOFER-IT and Kari...they made the whole process seamless and I was kept WELL aware of the progress of my shipment. The driver was also very professional and courteous. Fantastic easy to use service for last minute deliveries in LA. We have used them a handful of times and highly recommend. It's considerably cheaper and faster than ups/fedex too! The only thing I would suggest adding is tips for the drivers - I would definitely have tipped on multiple occasions if given a slot to do so after a delivery was complete. read more

I tried this place yesterday after reading all these great reviews. I was a bit hesitant since the letter I needed to have delivered was important and had some special requirements. They were awesome! I placed the order online and then a staff member followed up with me and informed me that the way I had placed the order would require additional charges, so she walked me through the process and showed me how to save $ on my order!
