Erin and Valerie are both absolutely amazing -- so kind, professional, and incredibly talented at what they do. They treat my dog with so much care and patience, and every time we leave, my pup looks and smells perfect. What I appreciate most is how accommodating they are. They always make time for me when I need an appointment, and I never feel rushed or like "just another customer." Their attention to detail and love for animals really shows. If you're looking for groomers you can fully trust, Erin and Valerie are the ones. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else!

AMAZING!!! The staff is very personable and welcoming. I have a very large dog, so finding a groomer that was reasonably priced, consistent in their work, and made both my dog and me feel comfortable was hard until I found Gofrette Pamper and Play. The staff was so amazing and welcoming, making me feel completely at ease and confident that my dog was being well cared for. I definitely recommend them and will continue to come back!

Osman is a saint and a dog whisperer!! I have a mini golden doodle who gets so anxious with grooming that I had given up on taking her anywhere. I tried to manage her fur myself but was failing miserably. We happened to walk by Gofrette Pamper and Play and had the privilege of meeting Osman. He spent so much extra time gaining my pups trust and making sure she was comfortable. He could have charged me an arm and a leg, but his prices were excellent. There is no doubt he has a talent and passion that few possess. He treated her as if she was his own and made sure she looked fantastic. He was beyond patient in getting the mats out and didn't just shave her down. As an added bonus, Bane spent zero time in a cage. She got to hang out as if it was her place. We both look forward to coming back. Thank you sooooo much Osman!!

This place is amazing, and they treated my puppy with the love that makes this place a 10 out of 10. Today was my first visit, and I wasn't initially overjoyed because they had a lot of paperwork. When all was done they were surprisingly affordable and they made my little guy look like a million bucks. My little Jimmy was pampered with a bath and shampoo. They trimmed his nails and made him look like a new little man. My first visit was from a referral, and a walk-in to boot. I highly recommend this business, and was surprised that they have only been in business for about two months. They book fast, so come early.

Amazing job! I truly felt like Aspen was taken care of. No other groomers have ever really taken the time to discuss her coat with me and the best way to take care of it until now. She looks so happy and cleaned up and they did a fantastic job. We will absolutely be back

UPDATE TO A PREVIOUS 5 STAR REVIEW I feel obligated to update my review so other pet owners are aware of what has changed at this business. What many customers trusted as a consistent grooming service is now under completely new ownership, with different staff and higher prices, and none of those changes were communicated to existing customers. Customers should know is that the previous owner and primary groomer, Ozzy, has left and sold the business. The shop is still operating under the same name, but it is essentially a completely different business now with new owners and only one groomer remaining from the prior team. At no point were existing customers notified of this major change in ownership and staffing. For anyone specifically looking for consistent dog grooming services or returning because of the reputation the previous groomer built, it is important to know that the experience and service are no longer the same. I only discovered this after bringing my two dogs in for grooming and immediately noticing that the results were drastically different from what we had previously received. When my husband picked up our dogs, he immediately called me because something looked wrong. The grooming looked nothing like what we had previously received. My dog Churro in particular was shaved extremely short, especially on her face, far beyond anything we had ever requested. They looked NOTHING like themselves. When I called and later spoke with the owners, the experience only became more disappointing. Kathy, one of the new owners, was rude, dismissive, and immediately defensive during the conversation. Rather than acknowledging the concerns or taking accountability for the lack of communication, she repeatedly insisted the situation was not her responsibility and attempted to shift the blame to the previous owner for not notifying customers of his departure. When I tried to explain why the lack of notice and the drastic change in grooming was upsetting, she interrupted multiple times and pushed the conversation toward ending it rather than resolving it. What was most troubling was that at no point during the conversation did she ask if my dogs were okay or show any concern about the condition they were returned in, which was extremely disappointing from a business that is supposed to prioritize the care and well being of animals. The other owner eventually offered a partial refund after a long and frustrating conversation, which I accepted. However, the issue was never about the money. The issue was the DECEPTIVE lack of transparency, and the dismissive way the situation was handled. Customers deserve to know when a business changes ownership, when the primary groomer they trusted is no longer there. Continuing to operate under the same name without communicating these changes is misleading to loyal customers who believe they are returning to the same service they trusted before. Pet owners trust groomers with members of their family. That trust requires honesty, accountability, and genuine care for the animals being serviced. Unfortunately, based on this experience, those qualities were not demonstrated by the new owners. I am sharing this update so other pet owners are aware of the changes and can make informed decisions about where they bring their pets. ********************************************** 5 Stars - Our New Go-To Groomer! We had been searching for a new groomer after having mixed experiences with some of the big commercial places. We stumbled across this groomer and decided to take a chance--and I'm so glad we did! They did a fantastic job grooming both of our dogs. Their coats look amazing, their nails are perfectly trimmed, and they came home happy and fresh. They paid close attention to detail and made sure both pups were comfortable throughout the process. Might I say, they really exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a groomer who truly cares about the dogs and the quality of their work.

We had such a wonderful experience with Gofrette Pamper & Play! They did an amazing job grooming our Samoyeds, Bella and Baymax. From the moment we dropped them off, it was clear they were in good hands. The team took such great care of our fur babies, pampering them all day and making sure they were comfortable, clean, and happy. Bella and Baymax came home looking absolutely gorgeous and smelling fresh! We're so thankful for the love and attention they gave our dogs--it truly felt like a spa day for them. We'll definitely be coming back and I highly recommend Gofrette Pamper & Play to all fellow fur parents looking for a place that treats your pets like family.

My. Dog. Loves. Bobbi…read more We've been using Pawsitive Pets for doggy daycare and boarding for the past several years up until last year when the business moved out of the Hayward area. We continue to use Pawsitive Pets for boarding when my husband and I go out of town for business or vacation. This is a home business, not a huge facility. There are benefits to both large and small daycare facilities. I rotate my Nala between both and that works well for her. The environment Bobbi provides at Pawsitive Pets is similar to what my dog gets at home - a comfy and calm space to relax, quiet time, a yard, walks, cuddles, one on one time with one of her favorite people in the world. And also reinforcement of good home behavior, like don't eat off the kitchen table, don't bark nonstop for hours on end, don't jump on the kitchen counter, don't crap on the carpet, etc. Plus there are a small number of other dogs for Nala to play with. It used to hurt my feelings when Nala would joyously drag me to the door at daycare drop off. Once I'd hand off the leash to Bobbi, my precious baby puppy dog that I love so much would happily walk away and leave me behind without a second look. Back then, I felt that leaving her in good safe hands with Bobbi was worth that sting. It's the same with boarding drop offs now. Despite how many months have passed, Nala still remembers Bobbi, still joyously drags me along for the ride to greet her, still has the same energetic happy wiggle butt. Nala greets her good friend with the same enthusiasm, excitement, and trust as before, but now there is no sting. I leave my precious baby puppy dog feeling very appreciative of Bobbi and knowing my Nala will be happy, safe and cared for while I'm away.

Upon entry, the dogs did get really excited to see huge screens of dogs...if you have dogs that react to seeing pets on TV - you know what I mean. The staff's demeanor is calm and encouraging. They brought our bigger dog (50lbs) into the area with similar sized pets..and the smaller dog (25lbs) went into that size group. Dogs are grouped together by size - which totally makes sense for safety. The "introduction" is done in about 30mins time...1 new camper..and a more "veteran" camper. The dogs were aware of each other in the space..but there was no forced meeting...they were able to sniff out each other's presence at a safe distance. 2 staff members are there, watching the body language of each dog. Very well done! Then..another dog is added, usually a female if both dogs introduced first are male. Same process...walk around...sniff the space at a non-confrontational distance. Then.,.more dogs are brought in....and the whole time, nervous Dog Mom and Dad are glued to the screens observing from the lobby. Haha..it's like watching your kid on a game show. There are "camp counselors" that encouraged dogs to "mingle"..and if they don't..they aren't forced. One of my dogs was looking for us the entire time. The other mingled and walked around and "sniffed" other dogs. We left them there for 3 hours..and watched them from home! The staff is constantly cleaning up and moving around...the dogs are able to socialize and "greet" other dogs. Definitely a place we will see again soon..just to get them used to the environment should we ever need to bring them to day care or overnight. Oh! They also take them to a "sleep suite" to see how they handle being solo. My dogs would sleep in the same space, but during the day they'd be separated. We like this because it will allow the younger dog to build confidence. I feel like our dogs would be safe here! It's a temperature controlled area with staff who genuinely look after the dogs and care about them. I'm very pleased with this space and how everything is presented! No..it's not an obedience school/training facility for pre-law enforcement K9s. There is no agility training course to bring your dog to genius SAT score level. It's a safe place that will see to your dog's needs during those times you can't be there. And really..that's all any loving pet parent wants. If we can't take them to the wedding...reunion...vacation..then we want them somewhere safe and somewhere that allows me to view them remotely while we are away. This gives us peace of mind.

We boarded our French Bulldog at Camp Bow Wow during a family vacation. One of our biggest concerns…read morewas that other dogs were repeatedly mounting her during daycare. We noticed this frequently on the live cameras and brought it to the staff's attention, asking that they be aware of it and help prevent it during her longer stay. Unfortunately, we continued to observe the behavior. When we picked her up, she had lost weight, had a runny nose, and her behavior around other dogs had changed significantly. Before boarding, she was much more comfortable around other dogs, but afterward she became reactive and barked at them regularly. We understand that boarding can be stressful for some dogs and that dog-to-dog interactions are not always predictable. However, we were disappointed that our concerns about the repeated mounting behavior did not appear to be adequately addressed. Based on our experience, we have decided to use an in-home pet sitter for future vacations. We hope this feedback helps the facility improve supervision and ensure that dogs who are repeatedly targeted by other dogs receive more intervention and support.
