I've been to dermatologists, other laser spas, and Amy is the first person who is taking a holistic approach. She has been so amazing with her time, looking at all of the supplements I'm taking, asking about the food I'm eating, looking at all of the topicals the derm put me on and all of the other skincare products I was using. If you want to see results on your skin, there is absolutely no one else to go to but Amy. I've never had a more professional and knowledgeable esthetician than Amy. She starts the experience before you even walk through the door by asking about your skin, your health background, allergies, etc... and really uses all of that information to tailor a facial that is right for you and your skin type. I've always had bad acne/flare ups that had left my face in a constant state of redness. Through a few sessions with Amy, I can tell she has repaired my skin and the redness is gradually fading away to reveal a really clear complexion. The price may seem high, but she spends several hours with her clients... don't even bother with going to one of the hotel spas, those are never results oriented. First off, Amy's personality is one of a kind! She is so sweet, intelligent and over all easy to talk to. The treatment I received was micro-needling. I have had it done in Oklahoma (where I am originally from) and I didn't see much results because the person I went to wasn't super experienced with the treatment. Amy, however, is super experienced with micro-needling and knew exactly the right way to get results. I am going to say, it is painful, but it needs to get deep into the skin to get results. Overall, Amy prepped my skin very well, performed the treatment then gave me a relaxing massage after. Even though the procedure was painful, I felt so relaxed at the end. For 24hrs after the treatment you will be super red. Your face will feel like you have a bad sunburn. Amy told me what to drink and eat to help heal my skin over the next couple of days which was very helpful! Also, Amy gave me so many samples of products to try until I see her next. Thanks to the skincare gods I found Amy online. I have been looking for a new skincare therapist since moving to Chicago, and my old girl became a manager that no longer provides treatment, so I thought I would give Amy a try. Let me just say that I am SO GLAD that I did. Not only did Amy treat me like an old friend when meeting her, but she was also candid. She will give you advice based on YOUR skin and what is best. I never felt like she was trying to recommend treatments that I did not need, nor do I feel that she skimped on my treatment. I had my first facial with Amy this week. It was a fantastic experience! First, she warmly greets you and sets you up in her cozy room that smells amazing. She assessed my skin to help me decide what type of treatment would best suit me. Her menu is vast, so I would have had a hard time choosing just one service. I have sun damaged skin, so she chose a series of masks to help brighten my hyperpigmentation. Her facial was so thorough, that I had a glow that has lasted several days. I have had plenty of facials over the years, and I used to see two different practitioners. I would go to one person for the medical peels, and another to get the nourishing, relaxing facial. I moved out of Chicago over two years ago and have yet to find someone who is able to make my skin look as good as Amy did. I am very Happy with the Micro-needling treatment that I have done with Amy last week! I have found Amy on Yelp and of course I did my research with other companies. From the first time I spoke to Amy on the phone she made me feel very comfortable and someone who really cares for you like a friend. She really took the time for the whole session including mini facial before the treatment and also mini massage after. She really made the whole experience absolutely great! In addition, she was following up with me every day after the treatment making sure I was ok and if I needed anything. She was even willing to bring a cream to my home if needed. I am also very happy with the results as my skin looks smother and dark spots that I have are lighter now and even the fine lines reduced and it is only after my first treatment. I am willing to do a few more treatments to see the full results. She is very professional with lots of passion for what she does and I am glad I found her in Chicago. I Really recommend her and will go back next month for my second treatment. I also suggest to use hyaluronic acid for the first 5 days after the treatment. And it is always good to do your own research on what the best to use right after the treatment in order to be fully aware and prepared.
