As I drove to the nearest grocery store, I never notice there were actually two eateries so I visit one called GoGo Bento. It's in a small strip mall with other businesses such as LA Nails, Barber Shop, Villa Pizzeria and across from Weis. As you walked in, surprisingly the majority of their customers are cater to take out but you can dine in with only having two tall tables and two tall stools for each. The name through me off a little but after reviewing the menu, it was a fusion of both Japanese and Chinese dishes. Their 2 sided menu is at the front counter in which you will placed your order. The cashier/food runner named BeBe was friendly and knowledgeable. I ordered 3 items: 1) Spicy Wontons 2) Beef on a Stick 3) House Chicken. When the food arrival at the table, all three items still were in carry out containers which is fine to me. I first try the spicy wontons. In the small soup plastic container, you get 6-8 pieces of wontons in a somewhat chili oil. The filling inside the wontons was about a teaspoon or less wrapped in wonton wrappers. As you incorporated all together, it's tasty but the ratio was less seasoning and more oil and because of that, it didn't coat the actual wontons so your palate only tastes oil. The chili oil wasn't as flavored as normal chili oil. On to the next item which were the beef sticks. They were still hot so be careful unfolding which were wrapped in aluminum foil and probably came out of the fryer. Though the meat was thin, it was well seasoned, tender and very delicious. It would be nice with some sticky rice. The last item was the house chicken which was actually chicken katsu with two kinds of sauce on top. This dish is normally served with rice but I substitute with lo mein. The lightly panko fried chicken pattie had a nice crunch, juicy and delicious especially with the sauces. The lo mein had a nice chew, tender and well flavored. When you have the chance, come check them out. read more
