The cashier was pleasant and helpful. The interior was clean. The Mrs ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork. It came with fried rice, an egg roll and the sauce was separate, which is always appreciated. She really enjoyed it. The pork was not "chewy" which is often the case. I ordered the Pork Lo Mein. It came with fried rice and an egg roll. The rice is some of the best I've ever eaten. I love China Wong! My family and I have gone here for over 20 years. It has been fantastic and we love the food and service

Ordered some food from this location on Saturday while we were visiting a local hotel. The staff are always friendly especially the older gentleman who remembers customers and likes to joke around. We got dumplings, chicken on a stick, and general tso. Everything tasted as it should but was enhanced by the chili oil we got on the side. The chicken skewers were dried out and the dumplings were burnt on the bottom but we were able to correct that at home so wasn't a deal breaker. Beware of the lady in the back (I believe the wife) is not a friendly person and anytime you ask for anything she is always telling the guys up front that you need to be charged extra for said item. read more

This hidden gem has come through for me a couple times since I've been in town, working. All safety precautions in place because of Covid. Call ahead and pick up. We were satisfied with the food, and had enough for leftovers. I wasn't especially impressed with the crab Rangoon. I've been a customer for many years and my latest experience (first since COVID) this past Wednesday will keep me going back. Everything is made to order every time. As such you get a little variation even with the same dishes over and over. My worst experience was great, and this week proved nothing less than outstanding. This is the best Chinese restaurant in this area. The customer service is always excellent! The food is delicious and freshly cooked. A decent serving portion is always served. My favorites are fried rice with orange chicken, general tso's or pepper steak. I highly recommend eating or ordering food from here. I've tried quite a few Restaurant s over the past 40 years or so from Washington St. to Florida. Many of them Chinese restaurants, and in comparison China Wong rates high on the list. The one thing that stand out with this restaurant is the variety of great tasting food from the buffet or the food ordered. The beef and broccoli is always one of my favorites. The beef is very high quality and broccoli always fresh and cooked just right. I am also always impressed with the professionalism of the staff. Wonderful people, wonderful food! We came from kings dominion then took the simple exit 118 at like 9:30 PM and they close at 10, as we open the door, he gave us a sweet, happy energetic greeting, he made our food we ordered astonishingly fast and brought the food to us! We had a great conversation with him and my family! He wished good thoughts for my kids in the future with school and such. He said it's a family business that has been running for over 17 years! Wonderful family! And the food was SOOOO GOOD! I would know because my family and I have went to every Chinese restaurant in Washington DC and this, this is by far the best! The food was delicious and tasted home made. I will say I wish the fried rice were more traditional, with peas, eggs, and other ingredients. It's just rice with some kind of yellow seasoning. Tasty, but not what I was expecting. I ordered the orange chicken. There was plenty of meat, and the sauce was tasty. I would have preferred way more veggies. Not good. Halfway thru waiting for my order I noticed them eating while cooking( I guess my order) then she answered the phone and took some other unfortuate souls order. She went back to cooking without washing her hands. Gloves were not worn at any time. It was getting late in the evening and I live 20 mi. away so thought I would take my chances and that I did. Honestly I think they were very dirty. When I got home I found out just how nasty they really were. The veggies were a bit brown and way over cooked to a mushy point. The chicken was under cooked being pretty darned pink inside along with 3 long black strands of hair to compliment the Gen. Tso's chicken. Though the food was horrible they seemed nice taking my $36.00 I would not or rather could not recommend this restaurant to anybody. Not even my worst enemy. But not here this was the worst tasting food I've ever had in my life and the employees can barley understand you and you can barely understand them.
