These empanadas were so delicious! Fresh and warm! Upon entering the cafe, I was greeted with a friendly smile and a hello! The service was great! The ambiance was nice! I love the way they packaged our to go order! Will definitely return!

Latin American and Columbian breakfasts with in house lemonade

This place is AWESOME!! So cute inside and I cannot tell you how the homemade lemonade is an otherworldly experience! It's so smooth and like a meringue (maybe egg white added?) a plethora of sauces and we had the Columbian and Latin American breakfast with desert empanadas to go!!! This place is a real hidden gem and I'm in love

This review is overdue. I tried this spot for lunch on Friday, 12-23-22. I had a deal with Uber Eats where I needed to spend around $25. With each empanada being priced so low, this easily turned into a large order that I ended up sharing with others. I ordered Greek patty "wheat;" Columbian-style fried potatoes "papa criolla;" bacon, scamble eggs, & cheddar cheese patty "wheat;" spinach & cheese patty "wheat;" Italian sausage patty "wheat;" broccoli & cheese patty "corn;" salpicon; seafood patty "wheat;" guava & cheese; Italian calzone patty "wheat," and caramel & cheese. My favorites were Italian sausage, broccoli & cheese, seafood, guava, caramel, & salpicon. I may not frequently dine here as it's a lot of food for one person, but it's not a bad option when there are multiple mouths to feed. The food was hot upon delivery.

I love finding delicious food that is a great price! We load up on empanadas here at every visit. Some get eaten on site and the rest get taken home for a meal or snack for later. The variety of choices is really impressive. There are a ton of savory options--some with flour patties and some with corn. My favorites are the pork (pernil) and beef (carne molida). They've got a few dessert empanadas too! Sweet plantain and cheese...yum. They also offer arepas, which I LOVE, and I typically go with a custom combo of pork, cheese and plantains. I love this sweet and savory combo! And they really load these up so for me, one arepa is enough for a meal. You can get different sauces to go with your empanadas and they are all really yummy. The garlic sauce is my #1 fave but there's also something really good about the pink sauce, which I'm pretty sure is a mayo-ketchup combo. The service isn't always super fast but they are friendly and the food is truly worth the wait. Don't come here if you're in a hurry unless you've ordered ahead. Pro tip: grab a coffee at the Panadería a couple doors down so you can get a little energy boost while waiting. There are a few tables inside, but not a ton of room to sit, so if it's really busy, you may have to take your empanadas elsewhere or just chow down in the car. As a native Floridian, I'd say this place checks the box for authenticity. Highly recommend!

The empanadas are delicious but this is our first time ordering from them a to go order. We ordered twelve varieties of the empanadas and were told that the order would take twenty minutes to be ready. The actual time that the order was ready was one hour. That was a two star reduction for service. I'm going to show give them some grace, maybe they were short handed. Like I said the Empanadas were delicious. Anyway I have to be truthful to my fellow foodies. God Bless my fellow foodies Always.

I just placed an order through Yelp got to the restaurant and it's not even open. The doors are locked. No lights on and I've already paid for my food. Tried to call no answer. I left a message. I hope I hear back from them. I know it's only $8.93 but Their hours on here say open and the order was gone through. Not sure what will happen next.

I was very impressed with the empanadas. We had several of the empanadas we tried different ones. The beans were really good seasoned well and to tostones were light and crispy. They give you several sauces to try my favorite is the pineapple one . We also tried 3 desert ones the apple an Nutella a peanut butter my favorite. I would have given them a 5+ but service was not good along with the language barrier. They labeled 1 wrong for us another one we didn't get. It was a little struggle bus trying to the server to understand what we were telling her. I'll be back now I know what to expect:)

Delicious empanadas. The savory ones were the best. Very pleasant service. Reasonably priced and made fresh! And you can choose between flour and corn empanadas.

Came to eat some empanadas and they refused to let my 83 y/o grandpa to use the restroom because it was only for customers, I told them I was there to order anyway and they told me he couldn't use the bathroom before I paid, honestly ridiculous behavior.

Man listen, I have never heard of this place but I was stuck in traffic on Independence and noticed it and made a mental note to check it out on Yelp on my way back and I'm so glad I did. They have so many empanadas on the menu including many meatless options. I called in my order of spinach/cheese and seafood(shrimp, crab, scallops) with the choice of 3 sauces and I think the green sauce was my favorite. The empanadas are cooked to order and simply delicious but they are on the small side so you will need more than the 3 that I ordered which was just a snack.

Customer service from female cashier not so good. It's a small authentic restaurant you can choose to dine in or take out . it's kinda small and got busy during lunch so I opted to take out. I ordered the three empanada combo it comes with a drink they were out of cheesesteak. So I chose the cheeseburger , beef, and chicken. Food comes out kinda slow so I assume it's made to order. The empanadas seemed to come out one flavor at a time I seen the cashier bring a customer three separate small bags also. delivery separate single empanadas dine in customers. They have spicy ,garlic ,pineapple ,and cilantro dipping sauce. Cheeseburger and beef were the same one just had cheese but overall very flavorful. The spicy sauce isn't very spicy cilantro is strong but taste vinegar based. There filling and filled with meat. More potato than meat in those options. More cheese than burger next time I'll opt for meat only . But three and a drink for under $10 is a steal.

    Pure deliciousness

I just wanted something to snack on so despite the large menu, I chose to get a guava and cheese empanada. The flavor was good but it wasn't worth the price tag (almost $5). I tried to order a nitro cold brew but was told they were out, and had been for years.....so I ordered an iced cafe con leche. I had to ask for it 3 times because the cashier didn't seem to know what is was, despite being on the menu hanging above her head. Her co-worker had to show her which button to hit on the POS. I'm sorry to say that this was the worst coffee I've ever had. No flavor at all. It tasted like watered down milk. They should probably fix their menu because calling that a cafe con leche was completely misleading. Overall, a very unpleasant experience.

It is by weight so you serve yourself and then weight the plate to gluons out how much to pay. This is very common in Brazil and I was very excited to come and experience it. We drove there and arrived around 11:30. The Instagram page said the breakfast goes from 8am - 1 pm. We arrived at 1130, there was nearly no food left and whatever that was left was cold. There's about an hour and a half left on the experience and I could not even get a second plate cause not even that they were replenishing. We told the manager lady that came by the table that we were kind of upset that with plenty of time the breakfast was in such poor shape. We ate cold food. No eggs were left, no bread at all.... And the warm food was in crock pots, even with that. They turned off the crock pots... they were already off when we arrived... at 11:30? For a breakfast experience that is over at 1pm.... I can understand that this kind of experience can be a gamble and the restaurant owner can lose a lot of money in food waste. But there was ways, maybe leaving the table open passing lunch for those who wake up late like me. Sunday is a day a lot of people go to church. At 1205 while we were still possibly trying to take advantage of the breakfast that is advertised to be over at 1pm, they started to break down. So we who were still there couple not have any more coffe of any of the food we came to eat anymore, and anyone that could come in last minute for the experience now will not be able to. If it was someone like me who lives half hour away, get here at noon to have the breakfast I would be very angry to drive and get here on time and see them breaking it down. I told my concerns to the staff and hope it will assist to improve the experience for their guests because this has a lot of potential, but it is not being executed.

For dinner, we shared the steak and fries platter and it was delicious. The flavors showcased the steak- no marinade, no sauce, just good steak, decent fries, and a cheese sauce. Between this and side salads, we were well-fed and quite satisfied. Our server was appropriately attentive and offered recommendations. I would recommend this spot for a lowkey, no frills, casual night out where good grub the main thing you're looking for.

They give complimentary chips & salsa. The elote loco was ok. Not usually something I would order but wasn't bad. I ate it all. Worth ordering twice if you're a fan of the red stuff. My burrito was a decent size. Short and fat. Rolled terribly. All of the guac and little bit of sour cream was on one side of the burrio and the other end had the chicken and rice. There was a thin amount of beans. The chicken was hella dry. Like it has been cooked a day before and reheated in a microwave. The flavor was lacking. The chips and salsa. The chips were warmed, but the salsa was giving crushed tomatoes with garlic. It was more of a tomato than a salsa. Personally, I wouldn't come back but they do have other dishes and so maybe I just ordered something that isn't one of their bests. My total was around $26. A bit steep for such mid food.
