On 5/31/2026 somewhere between 3:00-4:00pm, I placed an order with the Goku Ramen Bar Restaurant. The food I ordered is as follows: Shoyo Ramen with protein choice of Shrimp Tempura; Chili Paste; Sliced Black Mushrooms; (2 orders of Cheese Wontons) and Noodles. Later that evening my stomach started bubbling and I became sick to my stomach. I immediately knew I was sickened by the food from Gokū, as that was the only food I consumed that day. Nothing I did provided me any relief. That sickness remained until 06/04/2026. I know it was food poisoning because I was nauseated, with upset stomach and severe stomach pains. On 06/05/26 I was able to stop by the restaurant and inform them of my situation. Nothing was done as the person I spoke with said the owner wouldn't be there until the next day and I should call back. I returned on 06/08/2026 to be told by Chase, the acting person in charge that the supervisor is out until 06/10/2026 and that he didn't have the phone number of his Manager. He told me I would need to call back today, but the owner doesn't speak any English. I called the restaurant phone number that I was given by Chase. Once the phone was answered but no one said anything. Another time I left a message on his vm. After that I decided to post about MY experience with Gokū Ramen Bar. Hopefully everyone else will have a pleasant experience eating food from this location. Also I spent almost $50.00 purchasing food. ‍ Waste of money! read more

There food was wonderful! Didn't get a picture of the egg rolls but may have been the best I have had. Service was very friendly. You place the order at the counter and they bring it out to you. Ambiance was ok. Needed music or something to add some energy to the room. We went early after a walk around 4:30 and there were two other tables there. By the time we left it was filling up. Bonus was they had beer and wine. We will definitely eat here again. read more

I grew up in Japan and I am half-Japanese. This is one of the most legit ramen I have had since coming back stateside 40 years ago. It's truly up there with ramen I ate in Tokyo. The shoyu ramen is the bomb. We've gone so many times already, I can't get enough. Also, the gyoza and chicken karaage are both yum as well. read more

The worst ramen spot i've ever been to. We were a table of three & one of the first out of many others to arrive in that hour, however we were served last. Server was very rude to a three year old boy who kept saying hello & thank you, but was repeatedly ignored. Prices compared to portion sizes were completely unreasonable and terrible customer service for 18% ($9) gratuity is outrageous. read more

Multiple problems. First is the sign that says they are going to impose a courtesy charge for all debit/credit transactions. Next is menu prices. Their online menu pricing vs in-store pricing don't match so if your expecting a $40.00 order well after the fees and the price raises they hide by not showing the prices until your at the til seeing the order being processed. Now the for the order to 3 meals, one appetizer, and a side of extra cabbage. Mine was the pork broth with braised pork. The meat was sl toiced so thin, dry and only three pieces. Honestly I would have gotten probably fresher mouth feeling meat if I went to the dollar store and got A jar of dried beef. Really disappointing. My wife got the fried chicken which the pictures would suggest it was a panko crust but no these balls were essentially popcorn chicken made with cornstarch instead of flour. The broth had little flavor it was as they made no effort in seasoning it beyond adding bullion. No hints at flavor from aromatics like ginger or konbu just plain unsalted broth. My daughter received braised pork rice bowl. Her pork didn't have the benefit of broth and unless it's bacon pork should never be crispy like a cracker. The appetizer was the steam bun. I don't know what universe they can get away calling this a bun. It was a taco with mayo. It was no way the correct item and should not be marketed as such. The taste was meh at best. It wouldn't be worth the price even if the cut it in half. The side cabbage was a side of steamed cabbage. Atleast they got that right. The price above cost me $50.00 at the register. I ordered this to go so I did not have a chance to voice concern. Pretty much guarantee I will not go their again maybe the neighboring sushi bar or the other asian/boba place down the road. It's just not worth the price maybe lowering the price by 40% for the meals would make it good for teens but not for adults that can go to hirer end restaurants in the area. However I didn't mention this the staff is very nice and definitely handled a rude customer with grace and respect while me and the daughter watched and waited for food! read more

The restaurant's service is excellent and the waitress was very attentive, but the food was not up to my party's expectations. The food seemed to carter to those with a very mild pallet and was not meant for those seeking authentic Japanese Ramen. The braised pork was very tasty but the karaage was dry and flavorless. The takoyaki was good but was slightly under cooked and could have benefited from a larger piece of octopus. The ramen, which should have been the star of the show,failed to deliver. The pork nor the chicken soup base had any flavor even after adding the spicy chili paste. I am sure given the opportunity the Ramen will get better with time. read more
