New menu/Little portions/ high prices! Gotta say, this used to be one of my favorite spots. I've eaten at this location and down town 100's of times. This new menu change was a move to raise prices and lower both the quality and portions they serve. They changed what from my experience were crowd favorites and I've taken many people here and been with several others eating at this location and the steam bun has always been amazing. Their new replacement boa bun taco is a bad choice in my opinion. If you are going to change a restaurant style and menu completely, just change the name also. I don't know what restaurant brings your food, asks if you need anything, then tells you to go back to the counter to buy your own soy sauce. This is really, really lame. Three Fold also doesn't have salt shakers. I've never seen an Asian restaurant charge for soy sauce. I'm not sure who thought this up but at its higher prices I'd expect some soy sauce. read more

I had a slow start to the work day so I finally after trying for years to make their breakfast/brunch I made it there specifically to try their breakfast menu specifically their pleasant ridge location. I have been eyeing their breakfast wrap for a while and that was today's mission! It is nice to know that around 9 am during weekdays it's easy order without wait! The three fold locations are always simply decorated with clean look. Friendly staff as usual. I ordered the Bing Wrap. Very tasty with the right amount of crunchy texture. A bit leaky from the juices so have a few napkins ready! I ordered medium spicy but probably could have brought more heat! Very nice Yuanyang latte, espresso tea mix, where I can taste the Asian style tea and enjoyed it more than most usual espresso lattes! The dough on the dumplings was thick and chewy, and not in a good way. I did like the presentation in the little steamer baskets. The noodles were good; spicy but good but the chicken with my noodles still had the weird tendon attached and was dry, flavorless, and overcooked, very unlike the previous way it was served. The server never smiled at us once the entire time we were there. We used to live in Little Rock, and 3 fold was one of my go-to restaurants. Used to get it all the time and loved it. We moved away a few years ago and come back every now and then. I wa so excited to get 3 fold tonight, but we went and found out that they changed their menu completely. It was good, but not nearly as good as it used to be. The simplicity of the old menu was so nice, and everything was delicious. I appreciate them trying to branch out, but I was really disappointed that they don't have the original noodles at all. The new menu is very disappointing. My wife and I used to love this place, but ever since the menu change, everything tastes completely different. The half-and-half used to be the best item here, but they no longer offer it. The noodles were extremely dry, and the chicken was tough and rubbery. For the price, it's just not worth it anymore. My favorite restaurant of all time for upper casual dining. Coming from California where there are a plethora of Asian dining options and a frequenter of NYC I can tell you honestly that these dumpling are by and large the best of the best in all of the United States. Top notch quality ingredients, balanced flavor profiles, and freshness every time is something that I can count on when I visit Little Rock. The food I ordered was okay but I don't think it was worth it for the price. The noodles are made out of wheat. The soup was like a peanut sauce and I was expecting more of a chicken broth. The dumplings, I feel like could've been more steamed to make it softer. This location also doesn't have a soda fountain machine, only a water faucet and canned sodas/bottled water. Strongly Disappointed: My visit to this establishment was highly anticipated after spotting it on Instagram. However, upon arrival, I was blown away by the sight of dumplings left unattended on the counter, with staff seemingly indifferent as they navigated around them. Despite my global culinary experiences, my enthusiasm quickly waned. The dumpling soup I ordered proved to be a culinary catastrophe when I discovered a strand of blue hair nestled within. There was a woman behind the counter with blue hair. Clearly, hygiene standards were amiss, as evidenced by the lack of hairnets. Our subsequent dishes were equally disappointing; the noodles and dumplings were overcooked, the broth lackluster, and the servings lukewarm, as if they had been left out all day. You have to agree with me, if the place looks nice hip and clean they already have like 80% of my business. They have a small menu and I ordered me the half and half bowl. Spicy which isn't spicy at least not for my Mexican standards but the food was delicious the pork dumplings are really really good I think next time that's what I'm getting the noodles were also really good too but there's something about dumplings that just have me mesmerized. To start the "poison" level spice is barely spicy and their mild is extremely weak. Over all the food simply lacks flavor. Not to mention my stomach always gets the bubbles afterwards.
