We were camped at site 4, across from the restrooms and garbage, less than 20 feet from the water faucet. No showers on site. Camp host has fire wood on site for $8 a bundle. Extra vehicle cost is $8 per night. We had a total of 7 people, 3 tents with lots of room to spare. We really liked campsite #4 as the river was just 10 yards away without being on the creek. Downside is we were able to hear traffic noise, trains and the mosquitoes were relentless!

Waited last minute to book something for memorial Day, and…read morethankfully the Paca pride ranch had one available spot. Wasn't sure what to really expect, but had a general idea. This by all means exceeded my expectations. Upon pulling in, although not to far from the main road...I still felt transported into a whole different atmosphere. Check in was effortless. Can we talk about David the owner and host. TOP NOTCH so friendly, informative, kind and easy going. He took the time to explain everything. He pointed everything out and even helped with all my questions about things to do, different hikes, and my endless questions about the property itself. The property. Wow. We stayed in the guest house but utilized the communal fire pit and visited with the Alpacas, the chickens and other guests. The campground was full and everyone we met was so nice, and friendly. If you are looking for a unique getaway that will be something memorable I suggest staying here. We will be back and staying in a yurt next time.

Wyatt and his team are awesome! I highly recommend this place to anyone.

I've been a resident of the park since Oct 2019 when I began working as a nurse in Everett and was there only part of the week so I bought a camper and moved in during the week to have a home away from home...I have a house in Whatcom County. I moved the camper recently to my house because I am leaving on maternity leave and left 2 messages asking for management to call me back confirming they received my message and inquiring about a pro-rated month. I never received a return call so I called a 3rd time and spoke with the new manager today. The new manger Amy was incredibly unprofessional and rude when I informed her that I had moved my camper out on 6/11/22 and requested a pro-rated refund for the remainder of the month that was paid in advance. Her response was that they don't give refunds. When asked if there is any paperwork that their customers are given to review or fill out that states they understand that Lakeside RV does not give refunds her answer was "no, we don't have that information anywhere". This doesn't seem legal and is clearly unprofessional. She said I could go ahead and have my attorney contact her but refused to give me her last name. I can't decide between the Better Business Bureau to help prevent future guests from getting robbed or an attorney I have yet to hire. Perhaps both.

There is no shade, which some may enjoy due to not having to worry about large trees falling on one's rig. When it comes to the playground there needs to be some sort of shade for the kids. 2. They are wanting to install a BBQ pit area in the field near the dog park but all RV'ers travel with cooking supplies and grills and there are no Tent sites for camping tents which people who are tent camping would benefit from the BBQ area. So it makes no sense to spend money on such a thing when no one will use it. 3. A swimming pool would change this R.V. park in an instant, it would become the hit place in town and they could easily charge more $$ per night for such a thing yet it constantly gets over looked. 4. A park upgrade could also change this place, everything is broken, and it's a half a$$ put together park/playground situation. The kids are always in the creek behind the park where there is shade because the playground is lacking so much. 5. Come summertime US-2 the highway that you drive on to get to and from town is terrible, stand still traffic every single weekend. Which means you loose your weekend stuck at the RV park with no shade or fun things to do unless you want to fight the traffic. 6. There use to be a good number of full timers and weekend visitors, it is now mostly full timers. Some with nice clean organized sites, some look like a dump field. There are no set rules it seems. Hopefully you get a clean, quiet neighbor. There have been field mice problems in people's rigs and car engines. 7. Ever since they added the Gracies place food into the resort the traffic coming in for coffee and food SPEEDS into the RV park going 35+, there are kids crossing that section of the road to get to the park and I've seen many times a car get too close to a kid coming in so fast. This is NOT ok. 8. The food at Gracie's place is Sysco food, it isn't the freshest. The wait time can be insane and the customer service could be improved a bit. 9. They state 2 dogs a site only, some sites have 3+ dogs. They also state 2 cars only per site, some sites have 2+ cars. They also state no trailers at your site, some sites have trailers parked at their site. Again there is no uniform rules. 10. This park has potential, it's been tossed around in management. No real guidance, it's surviving on pure luck and due to the fact that's it's the only RV park somewhat close to Seattle that's so flexible with its rules it will allow just about anything unlike the others closer to the city.

It feels like you're on an island. Easy location to begin hikes from as well. 3. They even have porto-potties (which makes it easier for the ladies)! Located off hwy 2 past the picturesque town of Index WA and on at the end of the Index-Galena road washout. This private campground is owned and operated by Outdoor Adventure Center right in Index. Reservations are required in advanced with the Outdoor Adventure Center (see link). I've stayed here numerous times with family and friends. Highly recommend for family, fishing, hiking, climbing, naturalist, and photographer camping getaways.

Visited: 6/29/17- 7/2/17…read more My husband and I stayed here with our daughter and three dogs. We stayed in site #8, which had all the expected amenities including firewood ($4 a bundle), campfire rings, standing grill, tent pad, and picnic table. This campground has a camp host, trash dumpsters, and clean vault toilets. This campground does NOT have water, so plan accordingly. Some of the sites have great views of the Sauk River, and all sites have access to it. Sites #10, #12, and #13 have the most awesome and scenic views of the Sauk River. This campground is nestled among snow capped mountains. Our site had a shaded tent pad and the picnic area was shaded most of the time, except for an hour or so in the early afternoon. This site is a very short walk from the vault toilets, but not near enough to be able to smell anything unpleasant. Most, if not all sites at Clear Creek have so many fir trees that they are very private. To get to the river from #8, one must navigate the eight to ten foot drop to the mostly dry creek bed, then up another embankment. We could hear the mighty Sauk roaring from our tent at all hours. We saw bear cub not far from here! This was a very quiet and clean campground. If you are in search of more adventure simply drive up the Mountain Loop Highway to enjoy views of the river rapids and mountains. Within 10 miles one can access a gas, general store, restaurant, saloon, ranger station, fishing, hiking, rafting, biking, an swimming. This campground welcomes dogs and other domestic pets, provided they are quiet and you pick up after them. So please, be respectful of the campground and other campers!! (Don't ruin it for everyone else, in other words.)
