My wife and I went in just before closing on Saturday around 8 and they close at 9. It was good fast service. We had no issues with the food. We loved it. Only thing was the Soda my wife got was flat. But Chris was quick to switch it out for a new drink that was better. When he came back he admitted their soda was flat and brought a better drink later. Service was really good, they didn't waste time seating us and taking our beverage order. The waiter suggested that I get the mushroom Swiss burger! I'm so glad I took the recommendation. The burger was so flavorful and juicy, the bun was pillowy soft and the pesto mayo gave it a nice kick. The price was on point as well definitely cheaper than what you would pay for a smash burger in California. In addition I appreciate the old school diner style with the new school flavors. Our server, Chris R, really knew about all the items on the menu & gave great recommendations! On his recommendation, I ordered the Double Mushroom & Swiss Burger (smash patty). It was WONDERFUL. My husband ordered Chop Steak w/ mashed potatoes & green beans. He liked the chop steak, but didn't like that the mashed potatoes had skin in them. He is not big on veges, so I ate his green beans, which were good! Our friend ordered Thick Build-A-Burger (lettuce, ketchup & tomato). He liked his burger. Fries were extra, & we didn't order any. Chris told us the burgers were big & he was right! We were full after eating our burgers! For dessert, my husband & our friend ordered apple pie & ice cream. Big slices & very good!!! Place decorated nicely in the front area. The back tables gives you more room to stretch, but not much decoration. We went Sunday, 9/22/24, & were seated quickly. I cannot express how amazed I am by the service here-- namely from Aiden (Aidan?) but also everyone else. We've been 3 times and each time is better than the last. We went in a few minutes after close, absolutely starving and crushed when we found out it was closed. Aiden was so kind and had a quick meal made for us. It was quite possibly the best meal I've ever had. (That is-- since the last time I ordered the same thing from here) We knew we were inconveniencing him and he chose to give amazing service anyway. Later on, he even brought a dessert. This place is so moderately priced, casual, and makes you feel at home. Each time we've gone, we've met a server or cook that sincerely enjoys the work they do. It's so enjoyable to talk with them-- especially when we've sat at the bar. This place is really special. Thanks for making our night. read more

Normally when new spots open there's growing pains and issues, not here! Had a great experience tonight, the host was super friendly (forgot his name). The manager John was super hospitable and made sure our party including our baby were taken care of. Chris was a great server, very kind and made us all feel welcomed and well fed. I took his advice and got the double smashed patties, amazing. I regret not taking a picture but I was too preoccupied by enjoying it. Will be back this Sunday! read more

Hashbrowns good, bacon good, scrambled eggs needed more scrambling, biscuit very dry but had potential, pancake ok, coffee good but server didn't keep it hot or full. Had dinner this evening with a friend for her birthday. It was an amazing experience. We were immediately greeted & taken to our table. The venue is an old school diner with an upscale modern theme. First time coming here, we wanted to do brunch so figured 10 is a good time but when we sat down the waiter told us they only do breakfast from 7-11, and there was a small option for breakfast. Got the gold pan and it was OK... way to greasy for me. I couldn't even finish it all. Flavor was OK, honestly nothing to rave about. My husband got the biscuit and gravy and it was also just OK. We came here for the burgers but unfortunately couldn't get those. Very disappointed in our experience. The waiter was amazing though, super friendly and accommodating for our group since we had 6 people and a baby, so we were able to get a back booth. However, the back of the diner looked really run down. The entrance and front looks very inviting and fun. We sat in a spot that had an employee eating there and he had to be kicked out. Maybe I'd come back for the burgers but I'd have to be in the area since I drive 55 mins to come here for a disappointing brunch. read more

I feel compelled to write a review after my experience at this burger joint. It has a great atmosphere, location and food quality but what really set it apart was the service. My family of four (wife and 2 small kids) were promptly greeted and they sat us quicker than the estimated 15 to 20 minute wait, but here's where they went above and beyond. My burger was lagging way behind the rest of my family's and before it got to the point where I was upset enough to say something (I was close) the manager, who was not our server btw personally came over and apologized that my burger was taking longer and offered us a discount because of it. (staff carrying equipment and bags of garbage down a long narrow corridor right next to the booths - does the kitchen not have its own door? Yikes.) I get that they're going for the diner feel, which is great, but having the bulk of your seating in one long hallway along a wall with no windows- not very welcoming. Also- A Diner With No Shakes? Really? Three stars is pretty generous. I'm hoping they can get it together because the idea is there and they have a great location. read more

Been frequently eating here lately and the food is incredible. The service is also good and no complaints there. However, they have to get control over the music being played over the speakers throughout the restaurant. For the second time in a row now there has been grunge screaming rock style music playing at what felt like full volume. One time the music was pleasant and matched the old school diner vibe and halfway through the meal the fast paced aggressive rock took over and stayed for the remainder of my time there. The restaurant has such a neat nostalgic atmosphere and this music is just ruining it. Last time I was there it was blaring so loud I ate my food as fast as I could just so I could leave. I hate to write this review, but hopefully they get this under control and the metal rock music stays off the speakers until after hours. read more
