Original Gold Coast sold business and/or name a few years ago & this company using that name are beyond awful. Left filthy mess. Replaced an old gas pipe to start a wood fire when its NOW only used for gas. $350.00. Neighbor ssid "that doesnt look right". Had another chimney sweep company come out & inspection inspection. They were shocked. Wrong pipe, careless installation and location of pipe in front of ceramic logs near opening was all wrong. Potential gas poisioning. I had to pay another $400.00 to correct & install a new setup according to CODE. read more

Very friendly in low key way. Didn't overcharge us. Put chimney caps on both chimneys. Said neither chimney looked used before I used one couple weeks ago. Blowback of smoke into house was either wind outside or lack of power to push smoke up by Duraflame log. If I ever decide to use fireplace again - Life Lesson - only use real wood and no fires on windy nights. Although, Matthew said having caps will hopefully keep wind from coming down Chimney. Had them clean the chimney which probably hasnt been cleaned in over a decade. Also had him pull out the gas logs and swap in a gas pipe to start regular wood. 11/10 Stars. Mike came out to do an inspection and possible cleaning on my older fireplace. It did not need a cleaning and he inspected and found things that the home inspector did not find. The gas company came out to turn on the gas and could not get the valve to work. Mike found the problem as a misalignment of the key and the valve. Simple fix... But he could have charged me hundreds of dollars to fix something that wasn't broken. We did replace the chimney Cap and the gas pan which were corroded and broken. He came with his assistant, Matt (his brother) and covered all of the items that were nearby our fireplace in order to protect it from being soiled. They inspected our wood burning stove, it's chimney, the flue and the cap. Steve reviewed our stove, etc. and gave us recommendations, they cleaned the glass and cleaned out the stove pipe and did a great job!
