Ever since I no longer have miserable daily allergies and can breathe easy, something that truly means so much to me! Their service was top notch, I emailed them and got a response from Baxter within an hour and a half and was scheduled same week, this is unheard of with the other company we've been working with prior. Our service tech was confident, to the point and friendly. He was only there for an instal of the iWave but noticed that we had a gap where there shouldn't be one in our furnace area (I forgot what he called it) and he fixed this on the fly with no extra fee, we really appreciated that. We had Castle Air our today, and they have previously worked on our air conditioners last year and have always been professional and competent. Today Jose came out and I described the problem "it's just not getting that cold". Even though I had no real information to give, Jose spent his time cleaning the units, changing filters, checking for leaks and finally climbing around in my attic to discover the problem (a bent vent). Jose did a fantastic job today, was very thorough and simply left no stone unturned. Our house is nice and cold again thanks to Jose at Castle Air. Last night at dinner on a humid 92 degree night the compressor stopped. What a miserable night. Next day, Labor Day, I called at 9:00am and I received a call back in 30 minutes. Ryan arrived fifteen minutes later. I told him what trouble shoot I did he went to the compressor and in five minutes told me the dual capacitor had failed. Excellent service! During this last heat wave I noticed that our A/C unit was not cooling as expected. I checked Yelp as I did not want to go with a large company (Conejo Valley Heating & Air Conditioning -/they were too heavy on selling a brand new replacement and I wasn't comfortable with the freshman they sent out previously). So after a conversation with Matt and a next day appointment we were extremely satisfied with the services and cost in getting our A/C running. They fixed a frozen issue and replaced a filter. Six years ago we used a well-established Air Condition and Heating service in Ventura, County. We became suspicious when their company's service rider told us we had a monoxide problem. After inspection, he said we needed to replace our air conditioning, and heating and put in a scrubber. We are retired and older, but not that dumb. We contacted Castle Air, a well-established company, in Camarillo. It is a family owned company. The owner Matt came over with his son Ryan and they checked out the system and inspected it for leaks. They found no monoxide leak and we are still alive. When the air conditioning didn't work Ryan inspected the unit and said someone had cleverly cut the wires on the air conditioning unit. After that, we loved this family operating company! During the years we had outstanding service. When we needed a new air conditioning and heating unit we turned to them. Ryan, the owner, came over and helped us decide the best unit for us. He is a knowledgeable and a professional heating contractor. He spent time discussing our options. He gave us an estimate, which was very reasonable. That same day his sister Shanacie sent out a proposal. Incidentally the front office is terrific. They are competent, friendly, and contacted us right away. Nina is always pleasant answering the phone and Shanacie is more than competent answering questions and sending proposals and information about different unit possibilities. This week Castle Air installed our air conditioning and heating units. They checked out everything. It was done in a day and one half. When the air conditioner and heater were installed Ryan, Ben, Jose, David, and Neal did the work. They arrived on time, and were extremely courteous, polite, and kind during the installation process. We have never seen such a clean professional job. They left our house the way it was. It was clean and immaculate. My husband has OCD and it passed his inspection. The Air Conditioning and Heating units Ryan recommended are quiet and wonderful. We are so happy! They even followed up to see how we liked them and if we had any questions. My parents referred me to Castle after I was quoted a huge price by another company I found through Home Advisor. First of all, they sent someone out to look at my heat pump within an hour of talking to them. I also almost paid like five times what Castle charged to work on it and they offered a simpler solution than immediately replacing parts. They also offered to check on a part for me to see if it would be better to replace it down the line or not.
