Very disappointing experience with Gold Coast Dental Riverside. I was billed for D4999 laser treatment after my July 18 deep cleaning, but I do not believe the laser procedure was actually performed that day. I requested my clinical records to verify the treatment, but I still have not received them and the office has been very difficult to reach. They also submitted my insurance claim with information that MetLife could not properly match to my coverage, which delayed the claim process. Meanwhile, I am already paying for the treatment through Sunbit. Poor communication, billing concerns, difficulty obtaining records, and insurance submission issues. I will not be returning. read more

Pros: open on a Saturday, got me in quickly, mostly kind staff Cons: WAY overbooked appointments. 4-5 patients with 8a appointments and ONE doctor. Waited 2 hours to be seen by the dentist. Took 3 hours total. A filling fell out so I was sort of desperate. I should have waited for my regular dentist. I couldn't understand what she was doing (couldn't understand her). She was rushed because all of her patients were all 2 hrs behind. She left my filling jagged. She didn't take her time to make sure I was okay. Rough and sharp edges. She said I "might" need a crown because she couldn't get it "close enough" to my other tooth. Will not return and I do not recommend. Hopefully my dentist can fix this shit show. read more

This Place is a Joke I cannot get past this circus trying to pass as a dentistry 1. They run an ad on their website saying they do $50 Cleanings for first time patients yet they had no idea about the ad and gave me a hard time along with the receptionist giving me an attitude and an eye twitch saying Its up to the dentist discretion after a week before they told me its fine 2. The Wait don't get me started be prepared too basically campout for your visit 3. they said I needed a deep cleaning which is for when you have plaque underneath your gums and prevent or help gingivitis because I had some stains I wanted to be removed and tried to charge me 900$ and some change worst of all was the upsell on "we can get you started on payments right away" the attitude from that Line really made me livid as you're in the medical field and I understand you need to make money but your patients health should come above all as a medical professional I immediately declined and said I think ill just get the cleaning 4. The worst part after waiting talking to their attitude ridden receptionist they finally said okay we can clean them but you won't be happy with the results this cleaning your supposed to scale, polish, water floss etc all in all should at least take 25 mins-hour they put literally didn't touch the stains only ran the polish on my teeth for a not even 5 seconds on each tooth and NOT EVEN TOUCHING THE STAINS Rubbed Fluoride on my teeth and rinsed and said I was done this literally took and I counted 9 Mins. 9 MINUTES! I said "that was the cleaning?" and she said 'yes I have other patients to get to i'm glad we could finish so quickly you can talk receptionist if your unhappy with the results and she can get you started payments for a deep cleaning" needless to say I did a charge back on my card and left went to my normal dentist and they told me you don't need a deep cleaning your gums are fine why do you keep saying you need one you just need a polish I told her about the cleaning and experience she said "they did a cleaning? it doesn't look like it at all. - I see what they tried to do they seen you were worried about your teeth and they tried to sell you something you didn't need" and got my stains off within a 45 mins or so no deep clean no bs amazingly. AVOID THIS MEDIOCRE ESTABLISHMENT THATS TRYING TO GRASP THE LAST DYING FEELING OF WHAT ONCE WAS PROFESSIONAL IF AT ALL, AT ALL COST! PLEASE! read more

I had an amazing experience with the team here. I had a root canal and I was very nervous about it because of the potential pain. Luckily I was reassured by the staff and doctor on the team that the procedure would be painless and easy. It was excellent and I experienced no complications or pain. Bridget, Nancy and Andrea were amazing and they kept me very calm and comfortable throughout the entire time. I was able to get questions answered and have a great information and understanding about how the process was going to happen. Dr. Bassel was very gentle and quick when it came to the root canal and the following day now my tooth has little to no pain and swelling and I feel very happy to have gotten the results and issue solved without any complications. read more

I just got an extraction + implant done here with Dr.Epi and everything went really smooth! They offered same day treatment which was convenient. I was a little nervous since I've never had to go through something like this but Dr.Epi and her assistants make sure you're comfortable. Their front desk is very friendly and helpful as well! Be prepared to wait. They seemingly outsource their dental care and overbook everyone. Today's dentist complained about overbooking and is off to another city tomorrow! My appointment was at 4 pm. I sat, waiting to start my root canal treatment, for and hour before I was even approached by the doctor. An hour and a half later I was told I was receiving a temporary crown and the permanent would arrive two weeks later. When I originally booked the appointment I was told they do same day crowns. I picked this dental office as it was close to home after moving away from my previous office.... I'll be taking a drive to visit my previous office in the future. read more

Received no dental work sat in the office for 3 hours. Got home find the next morning I've got a bill for dental work that was never performed. A week and a half later I get another bill where they taking money off my account to pay for dental work I never went into the office for. The type of care was professional and efficient. They were able to squeeze me in and do an extraction. The extraction procedure was painless and the dentist made sure I was ok and comfortable; the procedure didn't take long. They spoke to me about an implant that I needed and they offered great prices. The quality of care was excellent; the extraction didn't hurt and they reassured me through out the process since I was scared. YELP REVIEW: Upon leaving on my first visit, a staff handed a post-it-note requesting a Yelp review about my visit. This is my first visit while in pain, and you want a Yelp review? 3. ANTIBIOTICS PRESCRIPTION: On that same initial visit, I needed antibiotics. They gave me the prescription note, and I immediately headed to CVS nearby (whilst in pain). Realizing afterwards that the prescription wasn't under my name. 4. DR EPIFANIA: I have had a lot of work done with my teeth. I was in Japan, Malaysia, and the Philippines. With different levels of care and empathy for their patients. DR. EPIFANIA no emotions/nothing for a patient. Get ready for more pain than you can expect. *On a good note, BRIDGETTE at the reception helps you to be calm, and makes the visit worth all the wait. I came in for an ortho consultation just to see what my options are and the orthodontist was great to talk to he was very informative and approachable! but when a lady came over to talk prices it soon felt very pushy and uncomfortable like she reaaally wanted me to start payment plans THAT DAY and when I would say no thanks I'll think about it, I just wanted the consultation; she would leave and keep trying to lower the price to get me to start that day. Like I totally get it but it left a bad taste in my mouth especially as my first time there so my first impression was that I was weirded out a bit especially after I finally said I'll come back another time I need to think about it first, she left seemingly upset or confused that I didn't fully go through with it and she started talking about it with the other receptionist as I was walking out. Overall I appreciate Gold Coast Dental- Riverside location because they helped me in a dental emergency. I am a private pay patient and they have a lot of options for out of pocket payments in addition to their insurance options. Bridgette did a great job explaining the options to me. I was nervous because I hate going to the dentist but everyone made me feel comfortable. Hyginest Jeorge is kind and helpful. Along with Nancy with of course Dr. Epi. I am getting a routinely check up moving forward. They are helping me with extractions, root canals, deep cleaning and braces options. Dr. Epi LITERALLY SAVED MY LIFE. Went in to a different location* and had a tooth pulled, with no antibiotics or prep, and ended up with a baseball size abcess and sepsis, which they said was normal swelling. Dr. Epi had me in a chair within 2 minutes of seeing me, and did EVERYTHING she could to fix the area, relieve my pain, and get rid of the infection. I appreciate her so much. If you need a dentist who CARES, it is absolutely Dr. Epi. She does what is needed, is honest, and caused no extra pain. She saved me from sepsis when 2 dentists told me it was normal redness and swelling. I hope my gratitude sends more people to her. She's a hero in my life. Thank you Dr. Epi.
